CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:Not DDR2-800!

Pros:Cheap one gig stickDDR2-667
Comment:
This memory works fine in motherboards requiring DDR2. It's a bit cheaper than DDR2-800 modules, so it's suitable for budget computers. I usually team this with the Celeron D processors in budget computers.

Cons:None yet.

Pros:Super cheap memory for super good memory when your on a budjet.!

I love this memory for a lot of reasons. Its very well priced, has a great brand name behind it, and allows you to still do a nice overclock with any 2MB Cache Core 2 Duo.

CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:meh

Pros:Cheapok timings
Comment:
Ordered two sticks of this memory a short while ago to replace my old ddr1 memory. Im using an asrock 775dual-vsta motherboard that takes both.I was a little dissapointed that i couldnt get this memory to run 667. It doesnt boot no matter the timings. So i need to run it in 533 instead. Which i suppose is hardly the memory's fault. It the board im using which is known to be picky about ram. Looking at the asrock faq, they tell you to run in Flexibility Option mode. Which is crap. It drops the frequency down to 228.9mhz and sisandra shows it at 4187MB/s 4197MB/s int and float. Anyway, at 533My timings are 4-3-3-10-T1 and according to sisandra's memory bandwidth test i get around 5900MB/s int and float. The 2 gigs of ddr2 has made a vast improvement over my old 1 gig of ddr1 though. Doing a video stress test in the lost coast for steam i use to get a 62 fps average. With the new memory its up to 115 average. So i guess im satisfied with this memory. I really wish i could get it running in 667 with my board however.

CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:overclocking headroom

Pros:Price, packaging, stability
Comment:
You simply cannot go wrong for the price. I picked up two sticks for my HTPC - perfect environment for this type of memory. I have no extreme overclocking desires from my HTPC... I just want it to work reliably, and at that this product succeeds. I have since recommended it to a friend who was on a budget as well, and so far he has had no issues.
