I bought two of these packs (four sticks in total) to upgrade two diverse dell laptops (inspiron 6000 and 1501) Moving up from 512 mb and 1gb to 2gb in each has put some new life into these older computers.Ram installed in 5 seconds. This is a fantastic item, even the plastic it's packaged in opens with no a difficulty! none that I can assume of. Want the pack was a smidge more affordable, but I can't complain. quick, inexpensive, dependable memory.....really like Corsair. RAM rates are amazing correct now....i kinda wish i had much more computers, just so i could upgrade the memory in them at this awesome value....haha none that i've discovered but installed in my Acer Aspire 5315 laptop, almost certainly the quickest/easiest memory swap i've done in my complete life....it literally took all of five minutes, like removing the battery, loosening the 4 screws that hold the memory/processor cover on, pulling the old memory out, placing the new sticks in, replacing the cover, replacing the battery, and turning it on. haven't tried WoW on this system yet (although it rain, it sucked with only 1GB, because the video adapter employed the minimum of technique memory), but the "System Data" section of WinXP shows that it is now employing the maximum of 384MB of method RAM for video memory, so i can only assume it will be significantly enhanced. nevertheless not like it runs on my residence desktop, but if it can gain me 10 - 20 FPS, it really should essentially be playable on this laptop now, with largely low settings.
