Compatible with a lot of boards. Very overclockable. Superior worth, specially w/ rebates. None right here. Over the past year, I've purchased 3 unique sets of a variety of XMS2 series RAM - two of the 2x 2GB sets, and 1 of the 2x 1GB set, all CLS 5-5-five-18 DDR2-800. I've applied them in everything from home/office systems to gaming rigs, nVidia & Intel boards, stock speeds all the way up to 922 MHz + on stock voltage (and attempted up to 2.3V)... all with no problems. If you're hunting for some very good value 800 MHz RAM with decent timings, this is your answer. It's worked with my nVidia 780i (EVGA), ECS G31, nVidia 9300 (ASUS), and P45 (Asus P5Q SE/R), all with no compatibility problems. Highly suggested.

Immediately recognized on Gigabyte p35 board with win 7 ultimate 64 none Didn't even pay attention that the other 2x1GB that I bought of this ram two years ago was c4, where as this is c5.My Memory WIE score went from 5.five to 6.8 - if you have the memory slots available I extremely advise adding this to your computer system.

Outstanding ram, I've run this stuff in 5 of my builds with out a single failure or dilemma. It's not the fastest memory on the marketplace suitable now, but it's good quality memory for a low price tag. None.

I bought a second pair of these to squeeze 1 last upgrade out of my ASUS M2n SLI DELUXE AM2 socket MB. I also purchased a PHENOM quad core CPU to go with these. I had no trouble with these...and I've had my original pair for three years!I now have a PHENOM QUAD CORE rig with four gigs of ram....and the upgrade cost less than 赨 dollars Uh.....I paid 贼 in 2007 for these as opposed to ไ now.... If you're going to put two pairs of these side by side in your laptop or computer....you may well wan't to feel about a fan to stop overheatin....and yes! they do get hot even with a heat spreader on them!

Easy to install, worked well; for 45 days, RMA from organization simple to get. One of the modules failed following 45 days. RMA requires sending the pair back at client's expense and make confident that you track shipment. Can be costly. It would a lot more friendly if the firm sent you a RMA box w/ RMA sticker and your just drop it off at whatever mail service the firm utilizes and just apologise for the failure.Currently, it may be much easier to just throw them away and get new item ....from a different business.

I want to commence by saying I've never replaced memory till now, and for any individual out there concerned about carrying out this...it's a snap! (literally) I have a Dell Inspiron 531s that came with 1GB of ram. I was getting a heck of a time with freezing, bogging down, etc, and even though it's only an further 1GB ƒGB total) the distinction has put a big smile on my face. The principal reason I'm writing this is to let any person out there who's a small nervous about carrying out this that it definitely IS effortless. Make confident you're grounded for static. (I bought a wrist strap. I guess you don't need to have one, there's other ways to do it, but I believed "better secure than Truly sorry") So far? NONE! Again, for the "memory virgins" out there like me, this is easy. BUT, they don't just drop in. (I assume none of them do, not just Corsair) Open the tabs at the ends, get rid of the module(s)...when you put in the new, they'll in all probability take a little "work" to get them all of the way in. Apply pressure at THE ENDS of the modules, not the middle. Maintain working at it. I had to commence over a couple of occasions, but with a small time, they'll go in. Don't rush it. (You'll know they're all the way in when the tabs snap closed) If you're like me you'll be thrilled with the results! I wish I'd carried out this a long time ago!!! You CAN do it....piece of cake! As far as Corsair, I'm certainly not an professional on distinct brands of memory but wow!, it's workin' good for me!

Corsair makes excellent memory, XMS or value series. Cost and performance is excellent. I bought the very same thing a year ago and I feel it was twice the price. I regret not getting the 2x2gig version. I did as soon as I clicked the button. I had 1 stick go poor immediately after about a year but that could have been the board, I had to RMA it.

Works as advertised, just bought a kit to resurrect an old LGA775 board I had lying around from years past. Can't go wrong with corsair, never have I had a single issue with any product from them, highly recommend paying the bit extra for a quality name. If you are in the market these days for DDR2 still, this is a fair price to pay although DDR3 is dirt cheap!

Plug-n-play ram, just stick it in and it works exactly like it's supposed to. As other reviewers have mentioned, some memory will run cooler than these Corsairs. Not gonna knock an egg off though, mainly because the temp has in no way triggered me any troubles. I've had 2gb of this ram in one of my computers for 3 and a half years (!) with definitely no difficulties (It is an aging gaming rig that was high-finish and utilized a LOT ahead of it became outdated).

Performs nicely with reasonable expectationLengthy lifeSturdy construction Not considerably of an over-clocker I've bought various of these for last-gen/next-to-last-gen system (as of 4ቮቧ) and they have performed quite properly. Some have been salvaged out of prior systems, others had been purchased new. All of them are nonetheless running in a machine that sees use more typically than not. Go Corsair!
