No flaws, method booted up usually after I substituted these modules for the current pair of same spec (also Corsair) 1GB modules. Technique voltages are unchanged but average board temperature went up by 2 deg C. My XP Pro program only recognized them as two.five GB RAM. If I upgrade my OS to a 64 bit version I'll re-install the old 1GB modules to the now open A2 -B2 slots for a fully recognized 6 GB total. None. Absolutely nothing unexpected here. In nine months of overclocked 24ǝ operation, this memory has performed flawlessly. The heatspreaders do their task, keeping temps low. None. The high heatfins may well cause complications with clearance in between memory and CPU heatsink. Regardless of whether this is a difficulty for you depends on your motherboard layout and the CPU heatsink you use.

none have had this ram well over a year now, and have had zero problems what so ever. none This ram will give you a five. in windows expertise if your tough drive has a speed limiter jumper on it that makes the hard drive run at 1.5 instead of the advertised 3.. Trust me take away the speed limiting jumper and you will get your five.. Understand a bit much more about your hardware. Those of you who do have difficulties contact corsair mike on the evga forums, he functions for corsair and can aid you out.

worked within parameters. none I applied the Memory to adjust a system FSB to 1600mhz, the method ran with out memory error but the cpu was too close to the best heat parameter, I'll have to go to an aftermarket heat remedy even though the memory worked nicely within constraints.

I enjoy this RAM. It functions wonderful at rated speed and timings. 800MHz five-five-five-18 1.8v No DOAs Cost jumps about a bit. I got a quite excellent value on my set and was ready to order an additional for 8GB total but the value went way up. When it comes down once more I will pull the trigger. Gigabyte P45 UD3R, E8400 鷐x8 @ 1.25v), EVGA 9800GTX+, Corsair 450w PSU, All Noctua Cooling.

Looks good, stays cool. This is some rapidly memory and entirely awesome for anybody on a spending budget. Didn't come with popcorn to appreciate with it :) Vista Ultimate 64 bit, MMO's and FPS load times are a factor of the past for me. This ram is priced wonderful. The ram stays cool and runs flawlessly. I just upped 4 a lot more gigs to 8 gb of it. I am incredibly pleased with my load instances and with how rapid it is handling Vista x64 and all the processes I am operating. None. Sticking with Corsair for the near future, even when I go DDR3.

Great memory modules for the cost and it's created by corsair. Nicely created and I just enjoy it. Had to RMA the initial set I got... the 2nd module wouldn't post or work. The second set worked like it's suppose to and newegg is fantastic with customer satisfaction as always. Been making use of corsair memory in all my systems and never had any problems prior to.... I think getting poor memory is uncommon, but it happens. I will continue to obtain corsair memory and only from newegg of course lol.

Very first set had a dead stick. RMA it with no issues (thanks Newegg). The replacement is operating well in dual channel mode. Method is good and stable operating Win7 64bit on a ASUS board. Initially set had a dead stick that necessary to be RMA, so minus 1 egg. Newegg has the best return/RMA policy. Thanks Newegg.

1. The price of RAM no matter no matter whether you get on Newegg.com or at your neighborhood shop is downright affordable. This RAM is no diverse. It's priced good for the item that it is.2. Comes as a "matched" set.3. Comes with Corsairs Patented heat sink already installed, to (in theory anyway) maintain the RAM running cooler and therefore much less prone to any errors. I can honestly say that I've Never ever had any RAM actually overheat when run at stock speeds. So its a bit kitchy or gimicky and not really needed for the typical Joe user that will never ever Overclock this RAM. 1. Windows knowledge score, scores the Corsair XMS2 4GB ƒ X 2GB) DDR 2 800MHz the same low four.8 score as it does some cheap Acer branded DDR2 667MHz RAM, thus not precisely instilling any excellent sence of an upgrade when replacing the Acer RAM like I did.I was expecting the windows experience score to go up to at least a 5.two to 5.5 but it didn't even budge over what it was with the 667MHz RAM that came with the laptop or computer and however it's supposed to be faster at 800MHz? Somethings fishy somewhere, no matter if it's with the RAM itself of with Windows knowledge scoring system I don't know. I ran the memory sticks through memtest 86 for 72 hours (I like to be particular about my memory before a BSOD happens and I lose various hours of my function) and Im pleased to say that it passed with errors.My biggest concern however is that the store clerk said this is the finest RAM they sell and however Windows Expertise scores it only with a 4.8 which is the exact same Windows experience scored the cheapy Acer 667MHz RAM.On my old AMD computer system with 2GB of 333 RAM windows knowledge scored it 5.4, which certainly is greater than what it's scoring this Corsair RAM.As far as the heat sink, it's on there solid which is a superior thing, on the other hand, I can honestly say that I've Never ever had RAM overheat if running at stock speeds so it's more of a gimmick in my opinion than in fact beneficial for the casual every single day user.Still a great deal for 4GB of RAM at the price Newegg sells it, or your local Super Electronics store local to you.

Works out of the box. Total amount recognized on Win 7 64 bit. Runs at the 800 mhz level even with the other 2 Adata 1 GB sticks so all is excellent there. Slight increase in speed. Big heat spreaders. Double the ram height. Here's the weird factor. The temps in my technique have increased by 7-10 degrees c! Will rma these and attempt another brand. Had no challenge with 4 adata's 2 of which these replaced. ran at 31 idle and 36-38 under load. now its 38 idle and 40-45 below load. Case is nicely ventilated.

Excellent speed and compatibility. It also stays in a low temperature range, allowing me to overclock my new Quad-core CPU. Mainly because of my motherboard's bios, I could only install one chip until I updated the bios and every little thing.Not truly a con, but the only challenge I've genuinely had.

Awesome ram. Overclocked it to 1066 right away upon inserting and ran memory tests and didn't have any issues. Terrific cost as effectively. None so far.

QuickTall (can be con for some) Tall (check if something hits it I didn't have troubles but you may well) Honestly due to the fact I just built a new PC and went from 512MB 鸀MB) I cant truly tell you if this is bad for 4GB as its a enormous jump for me.Vista rated every little thing five.9 except the ram at 5.5 (might be the slower speed of this ram or that I just need to have much more but you can OC if you want to check)

I originally bought mine on a popular auction web site and came DOA so I purchased another 2gb XMS stick to tide me over in the course of RMA approach.Corsair came by means of like a champ and I got my brand new ram about 2 wks later.I'm so impressed I'm just running these as duals and not even utilizing my other 2g stick. none rapidly and stable,what else can I say?

It works so far. My window 7 run without having challenge. When I try to install the ram modules my personal computer won't boot. Attempt a couple of time with distinct combination and it function. Diagnostic show no difficulty or error soon after that. Would be good if it function the initial time I put it in. I bought this to match my old ram that I purchased about two years ago.

Good speed, reliability, works under 32 bit systems as 3 GB, without a dilemma only the 32ኜ bit difficulties with recognition of all the memory, but that happens with any memory this amount Corsair produces a great product as soon as again

Worked nicely till about the 2 1ǘ year mark when I began obtaining random BSOD and traced it back to the RAM. 1 stick was bad but they replaced it. Failed ram but replaced. Corsair was great about fixing my issue.
