CORSAIR 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:none
Pros:Works great no install problems Comment:
I got this on sale for 80 bucks, so I bought 2 sets. I have 8 gigs in EP45-UD3R board and E8400 processor. It installed with no problems. I ran memtest and it passed everything. I overclocked it a bit and it remained stable. I highly recommend this ram |

CORSAIR 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:None
Pros:Good price/ performance Comment:
Bought these during NCIX's boxing day sale for a good deal, and haven't been disappointed yet. Popped them in an HTPC and I know that whatever I throw at it, this RAM will come through just fine. Also, in a pinch the metal coolers at the top could be used to saw down a small tree to make a shelter in the woods. |

CORSAIR 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:questionable clocking/timing headroom
Pros:Competitive price (as of Nov. 2009); works at base DDR2 voltage (1.8V); snazzy looks courtesy of the DHX heatsinks Comment:
Bought at a surprise sale price (read: low enough given the circumstances). Have this installed in an XFX 780i + Pentium-D 3 GHz. Works as expected at the rated timings - not unexpected given the Corsair brand name. Haven't tried overclocking this past 800 MHz, but wouldn't take CAS4 no matter what voltage I fed it (would POST at 2.0V, but failed memtest86+). 5-5-5-15-1T-1.8V works quite nicely though.Overall positive impression and works well, but I've seen (and owned) better. Cons:none as of yet
Pros:fast, easy to open packaging. Comment:
Hard to say this is bad as i used it to replace temporary mediocre 2GB lenovo sticks i got from work. everything loads properly now. one thing i was surprised by is the easy packaging. it was open in two seconds instead of reverting to my teeth again due to the excitment of gettiug something new! |

CORSAIR 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:(None so far)
Pros:It's a 4GB kit from Corsair! Comment:
Life is sweet, when you've got 4GB of RAM in your gaming rig. Open every game and every program on your computer and sit back, relax and enjoy ALT+TAB'ing through all of them. It's a wondrous thing, and definitely at this price. I plan to add another 4 gigs during an upgrade 2-3 years from now.Oh, by the way, make sure you're running a 64-bit O/S, as 32-bit versions of Windows do not support 4GB of RAM. Not sure about Linux and MAC and others.A good kit with heatsinks and decent speeds. Plan to buy again. |

CORSAIR 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:One module did not have aligned heatsink fins
Pros:Able to run CL4 at lower speeds! Comment:
Excellent memory (according to Corsair I got Micron chips), and I got these for $284.99 after rebate! Running these at 734MHz 4-4-4-12 2.0V (Core 2 Duo E6600 at 3300MHz) without a hitch! The only issue was that one of the modules did not have the heatsink fins perfectly aligned. Not that it matters much anyway. This review was modfied by poster @ 07-04-07 01:28 PM |
Fantastic Price and look. Fit in my XPS 630i with no problems One stick does not function Very first time I have ever had anything "not function" from Newegg and I have bought rather a bit over the years. Hopefully getting 2 working sticks wont be an problem.
