I now have two sticks of this memory operating at 510 mhz with memory timings of three-4-three-8(CL-RCD-RP-RAS) on a Biostar TForce 6100-939 motherboard. This is outstanding performance for the price paid. Get some just before they are gone. DDR memory won't be around forever and particularly with this level of excellent at this price tag point.

Seemed to be reasonable price for upgrading an older computer and most other Newegg evaluations had been favorable. Newegg offered prompt delivery. It quickly crashed my Dell Dimension 4550 鹕hz) Computer and corrupted the BIOS. Reinstalling OEM memory did not repair it and Dell tech help did diagnostics and referred me to Corsair for enable on this 3rd party upgrade. Even though I selected this memory working with the Newegg memory configurator, Corsair said it was NOT compatible and could not/would not assist in fixing my computer system. Right after pleading with Dell, they helped me reinstall Windows for the OEM memory configuration but at the expense of losing critical files. I am nevertheless struggling to reload applications and drivers. Dell encouraged against trying to reprogram the BIOS to steer clear of inducing failure of the over 5 year old motherboard. I am not a pc whiz, just a retiree trying to maintain an older personal computer going on my fixed income. I do not know why this PC3200 memory does not operate in my personal computer or why Corsair only recommends 266 Mhz Pc 2100. The Dell configurator recommends 512Mb 400 Hz Pc 3200 memory for this computer system. Since I relied on the Newegg configurator, I asked Newegg to waive the restocking fee and to give a complete refund including s/h plus what I paid to ship it back. I hope they will at least do that for all the grief this has been from an incorrect configurator. Manufacturer Response:Sadly installing the incorrect memory can have adverse effects such what you have. We will function with Newegg to try to prevent any incorrect configurator recommendations.

It's Corsair! They have one particular of the finest return policies out there. I've RMA'd stuff back to them just before on three occasions (mostly flash drives) and had practically nothing but the very best service. Dude, it's DDR-1 memory, what could possibly go incorrect other that DOA?

Performs OK but is not the exact same as the identical item ordered last year. Note this memory has somehow changed in the past year. I recently added yet another GB of memory to my technique and the most current memories triggered the BIOS to complain they were not the same speed as earlier versions of the similar chip from the exact same vendor and from NewEgg. Anytime you can add 512 RAM to the loved ones Pc for low-cost, you have to grab opportunity. I use Corsair in pretty much all my builds and have under no circumstances had an issue with them. Upped the RAM in my recycled Dell WHS box. I now have 1Gb. It worked, no difficulties at all on the install or boot. none good stuff. Thanks newegg. I've been a consumer since the beginning and haven't looked elsewhere

nicely have been employing 1 stick for two years now and a single for one year so this is some sweet memory. i run memtest at least when every single 6 months on these and no problems so far. these memory sticks are the ideal obtain i have ever created from corsair. i ordered some of their most costly memory when i initially built my process but those had been doa so rma and refund then got one of these sweetness!! none at all excellent mem!!! look cool with red shapie on em!!
