Value. These function fine if you don't have any other, older chips already plugged in. I have the older 512MB Valueselect chips and they're nonetheless running fine. I installed these new ones on a customer's Pc and they worked so well I virtually got them for myself. Then I read David Smith ImChance's assessment and I thought twice. I doubled checked David's findings on my customer Computer and David was 100% right. These NEW chips are Totally Diverse than Corsair's older chips by the extremely very same name. That's Extremely misleading! You can NOT have these in Dual Channel Mode with the prior chip configuration on the older ValueSelects. I see a Manufacturer reply refuting that but I'm refuting them right here. These new chips do NOT Function IN DUAL CHANNEL MODE IF YOU HAVE THE OLDER CHIPS BY THE Identical NAME!! The chip configs aren't compatible. I guess if you're replacing your chips entirely with these new ones and are content with 2GB max....these aren't a poor option.

So far it works fantastic, no problems installing, no concerns period. none that I have seen so far This item was advised to me by a friend who builds computers, and I was told this item is highly relaible and worth the income paid. And I believe he's correct

Great top quality RAM. For some reason, DELLs like this ram additional than others. I had a tough time receiving many DELLs to see kingston and other brands as DDR400, they all showed 333. even so whenever i employed all corsair it showed as DDR400 none so far

This memory didn't disappoint me as it is operating at 490 mhz with a setting of CL3. It is carrying out specifically what I hoped it would. Rock solid. No Troubles. $$$! None that have surfaced in 4 years of constant use. Been running a stick of this for about 4 years now. In no way a hiccup. When I can I will be grabbing a couple far more sticks to prolong the life of my greying, dustball of a computer system.

It is rather decent. Gave no troubles whatsoever over the range of two years. Memory isn't really something you can often measure efficiency on, but it appears to function with out a hitch. MemTest86 gives it a full thumbs up, and so do I. No problems. Requirements a normal dusting like all other memory, but absolutely nothing of the ordinary. Just make positive that when installing memory that if all the boards are running at the exact same speed in Mhz (e.g., 333 Mhz), otherwise a slower 1 will bring the greater ones down to its level. So, 1 333 Mhz will bring two 400 Mhz down to its speed. Unless of course this doesn't bother you.

Got these ƒ) to add on to a hand me down AsRock Dual Sata before giving it away. As soon as I installed them, I was impressed with the capacity to overclock them. They can simply take powerful overclocking. Non Wish I knew about these earlier!

Very good ram, cost is right. Bought to upgrade a 478 board with 256 meg, the dual channed kit was sold out so bought two of these. Worked fantastic , board didn't support dual channel although anyway. None Eggsaver shipping is slow, says 3-7 days, its 7 days from east coast to MN. I guess you get what you pay for, if your not in a big hurry, it just fine.
