Supplies very good airflow to my overclocked ram. The fan is extremely nicely made. Typical Corsair quality. Does make some noise! The fan is not a necessity but it works really nicely and its a wonderful addition to my modded case.............

Not loud at all but I am running two GTX 470s in SLI so a jet engine isn't loud to me anymore. I didn't check temps before or right after but now I really feel more comfy overclocking. none Fits perfectly over six sticks of Corsair DDR3. Tighten up those thumb screws and it doesn't slide at all.

Fantastic airflow over! I am operating 8 gigs of Corsair XMS. Those sticks utilized to get so hot they would burn to the touch. Now they are cool (sorry no temp gauges). Even my CPU is cooler. I adore the solid metal build. The price to build excellent ratio is not great. Some rubber on the clamps would be nice to preserve factors in place. Also the wire exit point from the fan casing doesn't seem to be properly believed out as the mounting bracket appears to be competing for space. The fans are just a little louder than my case fans. Not genuinely a large deal and I am positive when I get a fan controller I can cut the noise down a little.

Good seeking and straightforward to install. Has thumb screws to tighten heatsink clips to memory clips. Ran two of these in our dual quad-core server with completely buffered memory. Could want to watch any fan or p4 connectors near the memory. If not moved or taken care of, will hit fans. Cooled the Memory from 73C to 52CWell worth the price! Thanks Newegg!!! Bit bulky and runs somewhat loud, but for the efficiency you get, it's effectively worth overlooking.

Cools memoryLooks high tech in case window A little loose fit on P6T6 WS Revolution but holds (maybe my fault for poor install job not positive I tightened it down soon after attaching it for easy install) Not sure I actually required it but recommeded by Cosair for 12GB ƒ sets of 2GB triple channel RAM) so I got it.Wish it had some Leds

Blows air onto my 6 sticks of Dominator 2gb 1600 to keep them cool. gonna appear cool too. *might increase efficiency of stated memory but i dont know. Dont feel they are actually neccisary due to the fact of corsairs lifetime guarantee on there memory but meh... i wish the fans had red or orange leds on em to match my case and show off my components and i could not fins any 60mm fans with leds so no luck there... Newegg rocks!

This cooler covers all 6 memory slots on my P6T Deluxe and feels secure. Although it is a somewhat tight fit in my mid tower case next to my Noctua cpu cooler. I have it connected to a fan controller, but even at full speed I can barely hear these fans. It is a bit expensive but is created from high quality material from what I can tell.It could be really feel a little loose for a person with a much less crammed case than I have. But unless you are carrying your case around consistently for LANs or some thing there is nothing to worry about.

Works Wonderful and Cools great fits ideal on my striker 2 extreme will fit most board since it grabs on ram clips and it is high enough to avoid most caps and other stuff on motherboards so it makes it better than the OCZ ram cooler i believe None

It looks fairly neat in the case. It appears to generate a lot of air. There aren't any instructions. You basically clip it to the base of the RAM, but it took me a minute to figure it out. Not positive how much distinction it genuinely makes, but I envision that it's a fantastic tool for overclockers!

Not a peep from either fan. Quiet as a churchmouse. None, it's Corsair. If these brackets are loose as some complain, it is time to quit throwing your PC about like a basketball.A minor tweek in bending the brackets and no slip!

1) Fits just fine over my G.Skill Tridents.2) No LEDs.three) Quiet, can't even hear them so that's a superior factor.4) Despite the fact that I prefer the RAM itself to show, these fans look amazing compared to G.Skill's low CFM fans.five) Secured tightly however enables you to slide them for adjustment purposes.6. Uncomplicated installation, watch the Corsair video on Youtube if you're ever confused. None so far. G.SKILL Trident 6GB Ɠ x 2GB) DDR3 2000 F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD

Keeps my DDR3 Dominator GT cool a spec. I read tons of critiques that say the fans don't last lengthy. When I got this with my Corsair Dominator GTs, I had already read people having trouble with the fans going out. Immediately after looking for replacement fans I identified these (Panaflo FBM06F12H) on thermalfx.com. They are a ideal replacement for the stock fans.Panaflo FBM06F12H specs:Watts................................... two.52RPM .................................. 4200Flow CFM (Max)................... 19.1Noise (dBA)......................... 32.Bearing Type........................ CORSAIR CMXAF2 Fan & Heatsinks
Cons: - price is high (but you can PM to be much more reasonable)- fans are small and high RPM

Pros: - nice looks, matches Corsair blue Dominator module colour scheme- black sleeved power cable
Comment:
With the fans the size and speed they are at full tilt you will hear them. But with a fan controller you can dial them back to a point where they are moving air but not creating much noise--that's what I did and I'd definitely recommend the same. The clip system works well, you can get it on nice and snug. I am using Corsair Dominators which are tall with their heatsinks and this cooler is designed to fit over tall modules.I'm unsure of the true effectiveness or need of these. I overclock and it runs fine, but I haven't checked into temps with and without. If your modules are hot I'd say it's a worthy investment.

Cons:A bit expensive for two 60 mm fans strapped together.

Pros:Compatible with most DDR2/DDR3 motherboardsExtra airflow
Comment:
Use only one of the these regardless of how many memory sticks you installed. A single unit has the same width as 6 memory slots. Two units in the same chassis will sound like a plane taking off.

CORSAIR CMXAF2 Fan & Heatsinks
Cons:- Some people might complain about the noise, but we can only hear it in our office if we jam our heads in our cases.

Pros:+ Fits over any standard DDR3, clamps onto memory slot clips.+ Keeps all 6 modules at ~ambient temperature.+ Very well built, extruded aluminum body with sleeved cable.
Comment:
Even at idle, 6x2GB Corsair XMS3 at 1333MHz at 1.5V is too hot to touch in our i7 machines. Every 10°C change alters the lifespan by a factor of two in the world of semiconductors, and reliability is a must in the industry I'm in. If a system I build only requires three DIMM's, there's enough air gap for adequate heat convection. In a system with all six DIMM's installed, there's no room for convection.Strapping a fan to the modules would be cheaper, but you'd end up with a dead zone under the fan hub, and the attachment would be hokey. We will be purchasing these for all future systems where all six memory slots will be populated. Cons:It's a bit pricey but can be Pm'ed for a pretty good price.I never received any screws with it so I had to procure some of my own.

Pros:Does a great job at cooling my DDr3 ram. Loud a bit but the noise doesn't bother me. Not when you have 2 4870x2 going at full tilt :P
Comment:
People are complaining about the noise but for me it's the least of my worries. I also have the DDr2 version of this fan and it works just as well as this one. Would recommend if you're into overclocking.
