With XMP profile set, runs at 1600 no issue. No cons Seems like great ram. No DOA sticks, and runs at rated speed! Got the excellent deal on the ram as portion of a combo with the Corsair 650HX power provide. No complaints :)

Runs as advertised, I would not hesitate to acquire additional. Is not recognized as advertised As a earlier reviewer commented, CPUz reads the XMP profile as 8-7-8-20. On my ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution mainboard, the BIOS reads the XMP profile as 8-8-7-20. The Manually setting the timings to the advertised 7-8-7-20 works fine so far.

Easy, however elegant design.I'm running this DRAM on MSI X58 Pro-E with i7-930 as 1600 8-7-8-20 @ 1.five V and so far it's been stable in all memtests, win7 64, and in all of my games. As other people mentioned, either advertised specs are incorrect or the XMP on the chip. A BIOS shows SPD as 1066 9-9-9-24 and XMP as 1600 8-7-8-20 with remaining timings greater than SPD.Setting BIOS to automobile fails. You have to set all timings and multipliers manually. Once configured according to XMP specs, it functions great. I'm surprised to see it operating at 1.5 V with no difficulties. I took 1 egg off due to the fact of the mismatch in XMP profile and advertised specs. I'm organizing on testing 7-8-7-20 timing later on.Otherwise, this memory serves me effectively. As they say, would buy it again.

- Low CAS- WEI provides it 7.8 (Windows 7 tops out at 7.9) - In a position to run at 1.64 V that is under Intel recommended 1.65 V - Price is generally a con. But I personally would devote ten extra bucks for theses rather than going through all the hassle with G.SKILL or OCZ. - No issues so far with CMX6GX3M3C1600C7, so I can advocate them for related setup like beneath.Technique.i7 930ASUS P6X58D PremiumSeasonic X 750OCZ Agility 60GBMSI Hawk 5770CWCH50CMX6GX3M3C1600C7

RAM runs at right speeds (after an update which is discussed later), all three sticks were great, no errors, posted first time. Good quality parts, seems solid. This is NOT the fault of the RAM, it was a board BIOS issue, but I required a thing to fill Cons. :)If you have the Asus P6X58D-E board, UPDATE YOUR BIOS! This RAM acts funny with the board and will miss a stick if working with the XMP profile for the RAM. Update the BIOS on the board and it will perform like a champ (That is FLY by means of anything). Props to NewEgg for wonderful offers/shipping and Corsair for a solid item!

GameInversion@gmail.com and let me know if this is going to be compatible with my Board and CPU which is AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb .

Works as advertised @ 7-8-7-20 with my Asus P6X58D.Rapid & low cas for the funds.Low profile (we don't need to have no stinking large heat spreaders on DDR3...) - leaves plenty of room for the CPU heat sink that you will want on a i7 setup. None Playing the 'Battlefield Bad Organization three' PC beta with this RAM = quite good...

has fast latencies and tests at 1600Mhz speed. the quicker latency is just nice. the faster speed would only assist me out if i overclocked my method making the memory bus run faster then 1333mhz. i ordered 2 packages Ɠ sticks each and every). 1 failed operating at 1600Mhz. the other passed. make certain when testing this stuff you do so at the rated speeds not your default mem bus speeds (it passed at 1333hz). I did an rma for replacement. today the replacement arrived but the packaging was damaged and i can see marks on the pins. this produced me suspect it has already been utilisedi compared the barcodes. each stick was various! these had been from three various packs of the same model ram. bad concept!so previoulsy opened, employed and unmatched barcodes. An additional RMA for me! I'd get various ram except i want to match my other 3 sticks

Price was my original deciding factor. This is my second set of this memory -the only reason I bought the second set was to match the 1st set.Corsair gets points for their forums, they take a though to answer, but they are very valuable. My method is a brand new develop.I own the P6X58D-premium board. You have to overclock the memory in BIOS to get it work at 7-8-7-20 1600. Some people today can do it successfully, just not me. I can't get either set to run at 7-8-7-20 1600 mHz for much more than an hour or two. crash crash crashI've spent hours trying to get it to work by means of the Corsair and Asus forums - they are very useful, but nothing works. The memory runs at 8-8-8-20 1600 without having problems (at least for a couple of days now).12gigs on the Asus board only lets you run at lower latency, so I'm going to live with this memory. If you have the Asus P6X58D boards, expect some issues.Changing the memory in the BIOS works for some. This memory is on the Asus manufacturer guaranteed compatible list for only 6 gigs.If you want 12 gigs, make sure you check that list on the Asus site and obtain the correct memory!

This ram works terrific and has truly excellent timing rates if you can get them there. As I stated if you can get the timing to the what its rated at congrats. I couldn't get it there. Finest I got it to was 8-7-8-20 timing. This might be because the mobo I am utilizing does not have Triple channel support. All in all a wonderful memory. Quick and so far reliable. If you have triple channel memory support it must fairly scream on your board. Only thing greater would be the dominator ram.
