The Fans are quiet and blow a little breaze across the bottom of the laptop. These fans preserve the entire computer system cool, like the CPU, GPU, Chipset, Memory, and HDD. When playing Battle forge on my laptop it was pushing 70-80C and no under the identical situation maxing out at 61C. The movable fans make this a ought to have for laptops. The accessories that come with this are wonderful, but to make it superior Cooler Master require to add a couple of points. 1. Some way to tie up the cable for transport. 2. The elastic band that came with the Fan model is the 1 from the Fanless model. Which does not account for the added height of the fans and the laptop. This added height stretched the band to exactly where it started to break in the first week, but it has not completed far more than what it did in the initial week so far two additional weeks later. I don't commonly create evaluations, but I thought this cooler was outstanding. The cost was very very good, though it lacks the capabilities of the โ coolers like speed controls and added USB ports. The positionable fans allowed me to spot them directly below the intakes on my 15 inch laptop. The cooler is created so you can wrap it about the laptop when you transport it to give additional protection. There is a USB port in the plug so you don't drop the use of the port you plug it in to. Aforementioned lack of added USB ports, fan controller, but you get what you pay for. Exceptional worth.Cool positionable fans

Great value for the value. Created with fantastic supplies. Moving the fans is really easy. It is modest for a 17' inch laptop, for a 14' or 15' it would be a lot much better. Fans could be a small bit far more potent. Also the usb connector is a rather major with the added port that it delivers. I could reside with one particular less usb port to make it smaller. Packaging was weird. Large box with tons of foam peanuts.

Good cooler even for up to 17 laptops. Potential to move the fans about is great. Fans are quiet, but could stand to turn a little more quickly to move more air. I see now they have a 3 fan model obtainable. Makes me want I held off and bought that one particular, but this one functions great.

Cools laptop efficiently and fits my 17" laptop. Fastens on with elastic belt which keeps cooling unit in spot, yet can still open and close computer easily. Provides laptop an extra tilt making screen easier to read and keyboard less complicated to operate None I've burned out too other laptops and I suspect it was due to heat, so wanted protection for my newest laptop. This cooling unit was the excellent answer.

You can move them underneath the cooler to exactly where you want them to cool on the laptop. The cooler plugs into a usb port for power and it has a female usb port in the plug so you dont lose the port its plugged into. For the value this is the finest bang for your buck cooler. You can't go wrong. Way to go CoolerMaster! Totally none!

Ok, so the Cooler Master was just delivered about 30 min ago, I opened the box and set my laptop atop. The moment I plugged it in I had to verify if it was in fact ON since I couldn't hear it at all; in stark contrast with the plastic cooling stand I've been working with up till now! Now this is also the very first time that I have ever decided to create a evaluation, that's how excited I am about this solution! My 17" MacBook Pro is firmly planted against the rubber strips along the prime and bottom. The bottom grip also wraps around to the back of the pad so there is no slipping, sliding or squeaking among the desk or the laptop. The stand feels and looks substantial, it isn't flimsy by any indicates. Because it's aluminum it doesn't reek of low cost plastic, that takes months to air out. The style lets you move the fans to wherever you require them most and if that's not enough there's area to acquire some cooling fans separately and fasten them onto the board. None as of but Thank you for producing such a properly believed out product!

My old a single really got hot and most likely was the explanation it eventually failed. My new laptop has no difficulties, I can not hear the fans and they function fine, uncomplicated to move to be situated beneath vents.

adjustable fans are seriously nice... I have a Gateway - FX 17" gaming laptop.... incredibly really hot ... this has helped a lot more than any previous cooling mat.... but I'm thinking of buying yet another just to add two much more of the fans to this.... as I don't get as hot, but nonetheless gets hot when playing EQ2 mainly because it is quite graphics intense... pc even shuts down on occasion, but that now is rare, but does happen. Once more..this is the ideal cooling mat I've identified & have had 4 previously, that are now recycled. Also, the fans speed appears to be pretty low, but they are quiet, I need to say. Now... my 17" laptop does not fit nicely (but it does work), on this 15" created 'table'.... I actually wish that a 17"-18" width with 4 fans that are positionable was offered... that would be amazing & a lot more helpful for gamers...because most gamers use a wide screen laptop imo. I'm going to order one more one particular of these so that I can put two additional fans on my existing 'table'. Hoping that will even cool far better than it currently does. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer,We apologize for any inconvenience. Cons:Could be better at cooling. I notice a slight difference in temperature of laptop exhaust fan. Never received my Mail in Rebate for $10USD. Still waiting.

Pros:Helps reduce some heat on my laptop
Comment:
Overall not bad. It provides some heat relief. Angle of cooler master takes a bit to get used to. When I'm not playing games I don't use the Coolermaster because the angle gets a bit annoying. Also never received my $10USD mail in rebate. I always fill them out correctly so still waiting.

-can move the fans-flip the fans-when traveling, you can slip the cooler over the laptop-USB connection has backside plug so if you have 1 usb, you still have access to it absolutely nothing Major, but when traveling, you gotta figure out exactly where the fans are going to go in your bag.

I haven't used the fans yet as it wasn't really necessary I just needed something to tilt my laptop up so it doesn't do any unnecessary cooling. The stand itself is very useful and sturdy. It fits my 17" MSI GE70 but not perfectly. If the made a bigger one I'd invest in one.

* Does the job of sustaining my laptop and its HDD 5-10C cooler.* Easy positioning of the fans where you want them to be. As for myself, I placed them underneath my laptop's HDD and CPU/GPU * Fans only blow at 1200 rpm, but I guess some compromise has to be created for quiet operation.* I want there a way to order additional usb-powered fan pairs.* Fans are shortlived, as one particular of them began to make this rattling noise a little over two months following obtain Ɠቦቦ).* Terrible consumer service, as my RMA request to Coolermaster to replace the faulty fan ƕቴቦ) is nevertheless pending Ɩǝቦ) immediately after two weeks. Instead of waiting for my RMA status to be resolved, I decided to take matters into my own hands to repair the faulty fan. I initially unscrewed the grating. Then, I popped out the fan making use of two tiny flathead precision screwdrivers. I applied a drop of lubricant (fanlube) to the bearing, popped the fan back and reattached the grating. Voila, the rattling noise disappeared following plugging the usb connector in. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer,We apologize for any inconvenience. Exceptional product--create, looks, and function. Two fans which are very easily movable to different areas of the perforated base board like rubber pad places, contrary to what yet another reviewer mentioned--as extended as there are holes you can move your fan there. Operates very properly with 15 inch notebooks (perfect width) like Dell XPS M1530. If your notebook as an overhanging 9 cell battery like in Dell XPS M1530 you shall be blessed by it holding your notebook securely--does not have to rely on rubber pads on the base board. A little more noise than I would like--four exact same type of fans at slower rpm speed or two x 120mm fans at slower speed would be a far better choice for such a pad...for a 'perfect pad'.... (hopefully Cooler Master guys are listening in). The ideal notebook pad I have identified--overall performance and money smart beside wonderful looks and great make top quality. I hugely advise it to any individual with 15 inch notebook/netbook and under. No matter what your fan air intake and memory arrangement is on your unique brand of the notebook you can Simply move fans to these areas to maximize cooling of your investment. The buttom of my notebook was overheating all the time (I am using it as a desktop replacement in a geostationary orbit) and now the temperatures dropped from 'too hot to touch' to 'WOW I want another one of these cooling pads!' (for my other laptop, of course. If you think that cooling laptop is the finish of the story..you are incorrect--it is also excellent for cooling overworked ADSL modems/routers that function 24ǝ and produce alot of heat--if you want stability to your applications--THIS IS IT!

I don't know much about notebook temperatures because every computer is different but I know that Powerbooks get pretty hot according to google. According to iStat, I've noticed that without the U2 the temp can get as high as 68 when its working hard - 60ish when just running one app. With the U2 the temp hangs around 54-60. These temp readings are for the CPU (top) - the warmest temp recorded. I have no idea if 6-10 degrees really makes a difference on the inside but all I know is that the outside is cool/warm to the touch rather than blistering hot. I've seen some other products cool as much as 20 degrees but they cost $100+...and as far as I know, notebooks run comfortably at around 60 degrees...again, according to google. All in all, I don't regret the purchase. Even if it didn't cool at all, it makes a wonderful prop and puts the notebook at a good angle. Me likey. The adjustable fans are what sold me in the first place and it really is an awesome feature. Also, the portability is awesome, as it works as a shield. Well worth the $25. The only addition I'd make is a fan that could blow across the top of the Macbook/Powerbook at the base of the screen where the vent is. If there was airflow over that then I'm positive the temp would drop  at least another 5-10 degrees. I tried it with another USB fan and it seemed to help quite a bit - drop  ping the temp to an average of 51.

Lowered the temps on my Asus U80V with the lid closed by ᡂC even under heavy load. Splits your USB port so you don't drop any connectivity. Standard 80mm fans for simple replacement, but it's quite quiet anyway. None...Perhaps worth practically nothing that it's incapable of expressing emotion... Fits a 14" laptop like a glove.

- Quiet- Sturdy (no plastic, rubber feet)- Good looks- Makes use of a USB port, but "gives it back"- Can spot the fans on the positions that work the best for your lap Don't know of any but, but likely some folks might not like the angle as it feels a small bit steep, but works beautifully when laying on the couch.I would like a cooler that runs on batteries, the tiny usb cable is occasionally obtrusive, but that's just me becoming OC :) Don't know how men and women want these small fans to be like liquid nitrogen sort of coolers. If you "really" need anything larger then you seriously have some critical heating challenges with your laptop. At least it provides you the potential to attach bigger fans if you want.I also like how you can use the cooler as a small case, as you can fit the laptop inside, and tie it with the elastic strap that it comes with.Is a fantastic product, for a excellent value. You can really feel the excellent as soon as you unpack it, and it functions nice.Just don't anticipate to cool down your 17''+ gaming overclocked laptop for intensive gameplay. But it functions properly for a "regular" 15'' mid size for continuos photo editing.

Who doesn't love a product that serves two purposes? I bought a smaller version of this (with only 1 fan) a year ago and the clips that hold the fan to the tray broke. They're plastic and I wish the material they had used was more robust (metal for example). Otherwise this is a fantastic design that does the job it needs to do. I loved it enough to buy another one, this time with two fans. Bonus is that this serves to protect my laptop when I travel with it.
