Operates excellent. No difficulties so far. I was in a position to max out my RAM on my laptop. Easy to install. No BSOD relating to RAM or strange behaviors from laptop. OS can only use 3GB out of 4GB since of 32-bit limitations. Nonetheless haven't did something to use all the RAM, but great to have just in case. I might require to switch to a 64-bit OS to tap into the remaining RAM

Functions as expected non If you've ever wondered about your ASUS R2H RAM, it will take 2gb. No tweaking, justed insert and it recognized 2048 of it in XP. You lose out on the hardwired internal 鵀)RAM but it blows the stock 768RAM. Next will be to replace the HD w/ SSD.

Incredibly content that it worked. Dell says two gigs is the max for the E1705, but soon after reading numerous posts on the internet claiming it would manage it I produced the move and now have 3 gigs. Corsair is a reliable brand. Tons of positive critiques can't be all incorrect. None seriously. The memory was shipped in a bubble envelope and I suppose I really should be glad the UPS guy didn't try to fold it. I was concerned about the RAM operating in my E1705 but it handled it perfectly. Dell's quirky BIOS took about 3 minutes to load when I first replaced 1 OEM 1g stick with this 1, then it delivered the expected message, "System Memory Has Changed." No "Enter Setup or F2" selection was displayed so I energy cycled the laptop. There was no will need to panic due to the fact I've moved the memory about prior to and received the same outcomes. 1 the second attempt the BIOS loaded with no problem so I entered the BIOS setup to see if it picked up the new memory. It picked it up fine. I have 1 OEM 1g Samsung + this 2g Corsair for 3 gigs total (same speed, timings, and so on). No much more BIOS delays since the first boot. I have a totally bloated Vista32 Small business set up with all the updates, and though it didn't make the laptop a screamer, it launches apps significantly much more smoothly which is what I wanted.FYI this is with the A10 BIOS.

Dramatic boost in performance immediately after installing this RAM. Windows 7 runs beautifully with the upgraded RAM. OS wouldn't boot proper after installing new RAM module. Following reseating it, worked like standard. No troubles given that then. Initially purchased a single of these sticks 2 years ago for my Dell Latitude D530 to replace the 512MB stick in the main memory bay. Didn't seriously notice a drastic increase in efficiency since I wasn't operating in dual channel mode considering that the second stick was nonetheless a 512MB. Following adding the second 2G stick the laptop or computer is a lot more rapidly now. I gave these sticks a 4 egg rating before.. but they have very easily earned 5 eggs this time around.

Tossed these into my macbook to boost the speed along with my new SSD. Certainly made a difference in apps having way less latency. Could have better timings but I didn't want to spend extra for them

Doubled the original memory on the Wife's Asus eepc 1005hab with out incident. I did have to go into bios and save setting ahead of xp would see it, not the products fault. What to do with original memory? Donate it to goodwill or spend ū to sell it for ū on fleabay....hmmm Now if I could only O/C the powerhouse Atom cpu, I would be a pleased camper.

Upgraded from 1 to two gigs and couldn't be happier. It does what it's supposed to. What else do you need? Had to get rid of the old memory to install the new memory, so now I have a gig of useless laptop memory. Got an HP mini with an Atom N455, 1gig of memory, and windows 7 starter for christmas. Because windows 7 Starter is a joke, I quickly upgraded to ultimate. Method seemed a small slow, but immediately after a different gig of memory anything is operating as smoothly as it was with starter.

Installed very quickly and without incident into my Asus Eee PC 1005PE. Functions flawlessly, and shows up as 2GB in Windows 7. No problems with it. Just make sure that your ram is seated 100% correctly. And in Eee PC's make positive you disable bootbuster before you install any new hardware, you can allow it once more after you reboot. If you have an Eee PC and want 2gb of ram, acquire this stick.
