Cons:none

Pros:Good price, reliable
Comment:
I bought two of these to put in my HP Pavilion 9343ca notebook. When I originally bought the notebook the specs said 2GB memory max, but the newer bios allowed me to put in 4GB. HP doesn't mention the fact that you can put in more memory - I noticed it on an HP forum. The price was right and the upgrade made everything a little faster. I am trying the Windows 7 beta and it shows the whole 4GB, while Vista only showed 3GB. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to update  their notebook.

iMac 24" upgrade. Cheap, easy, compatible. Corsair is one of my more trusted brands, so far. This chip went into an aluminum iMac and works as expected. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-13-09 01:13 PM

Pros:Works with the Dell Mini9
Comment:
Bought this ram for a Dell Mini9. Installation was easy. Still have to recompile the kernel to go access to the full 2 gig. Right now Ubuntu is only seeing 1 gig. For 29$ why go for 1 gig the price difference is too small.

Great price for 2GB RAM upgrade. Replaced the stock RAM in my EEE 1000, and works like a charm. Corsair is reliable stuff; searching the EEE user forums shows this is a popular and proven upgrade. Very easy install, and (mildy) better performance now that I can disable page-filing. Very happy I bought it - you can't beat the sale price for reliable kit like this.

Comment:
I purchased this recently during one of ncix's sales and have successfully installed in in my Dell Latitude D520. The install went as smooth as can be... simply install and boot up the laptop and Windows XP Pro instantly recognized the memory. I have a 2GB stick of this stuff in one bank and an OCZ 1GB stick in the other bank. Total is 3GB and speed is noticable faster on memory intensive apps (main reason I wanted to install more ram). I went from 1.5GB to 3.0GB. Can't find any weaknesses... great brand and relatively inexpensive.

Bought this for a Dell Latitude D820 running XP. Swapped out one of the 512mb sticks and replaced with this 2gb stick, to give 2.5gb. The RAM still ran in dual channel mode, and has worked flawlessly since I bought it! Fantastic value. When I bought it it had a rebate and was angry since I never received the rebate.... but I JUST received it over 5 months later. Oh well. Better late than never.

I bought two of these for my new Dell XPS1530 laptop and the machine is a rocket. At the time, Dell was charging an extra $400 to increase the standard 1Gb to 4Gb which is insane considering I paid about $120 (after MIR) for the whole 4Gb package here.

Installed in MacBook and saw great performance increase. Note for XP users upgrading to 4GB RAM, XP was only programmed to register up to 3GB. You may have to update your bios or boot.ini file to get it to see 4GB. There are sites that explain how to do this.

Delivers what it offers. Simply a good deal on a 2GB stick of ram. Throwing two of these into your notebook is a great and cheap upgrade, and highly suggested if your running Vista. 2GB's should be enough, but having two of these is great for gaming and future-proofing your laptop. I have one and am ordering a second stick.Works perfectly in my Dell Inspiron 1520.
