Worked fine for 1 week. Defective after 1 week. Netbook would not start off until following I removed this memory chip and replaced with original, 1 gig. NewEgg's return policy is great and I will be able to return with small inconvenience. |

Corsair 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz SODIMM Memory
Comment:
Installed quite simply, popped right in and off she went! The module I replaced was a 1GB DDR2-533 stick, it didn't bump up my windows encounter rating (nor the baseline but that's my processor's fault) but there is a quite noticeable increase of speed when launching and using programs now, boot times are a bit quicker too. Pretty happy with this buy. Not free? Paired up to use with my Acer AOD150-1577, install was incredibly simple and every little thing just worked the moment I turned it on. |

Corsair 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz SODIMM Memory
Cons:none
Pros:Cheap, reliable and as fast as higher priced RAM Comment:
Got 2x of these on sale for only 20.99 each so I could upgrade my MacBook (2 GHz C2D) from 2GB to 4GB. They perform perfectly as expected and reinforce my faith in Corsair products. I bought 1x of these back in 2009 also for my Dell mini 9 netbook and had the same flawless experience.I highly recommend these for anyone needing this spec memory. |

none This 2 gig chip was recognized by my Asus Eee PC 900HA as 1 gig. It is PC2 5300, and computer manufacturer's spec is PC2 5300. |

Corsair 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz SODIMM Memory
Cons:BIOS identifies it as PC-2100 instead of PC2-5300; I blame the BIOS since this machine cannot accept PC-2100 modules.
Pros:Unlike a /certain/ other brand these modules passed testing with Memtext86+ out of the box, and after 9 hours of use. Comment:
Considering that I can use FireFox 4 without it crashing for want of memory I am happy with the modules, though I am annoied that I didn't do the research and realise that like most i815 based laptops while my NC6220 will accept a maximum module size of 2GB, but only one module of that size at a time.Later I might build a SSD with the 'spare' module and assign my virtual memory to it rather than put it in another laptop. |

Pros: Price, Speed, Easy To Install. Comment:
I picked one of these up on sale to upgrade a 1gb stick in my netbook, works great no problems, very easy to install, everything is alot faster. And for the price, if you can get it on sale i would highly recommend getting this upgrade if you only have a basic netbook with 1gb RAM. |

Cons:
none so far
Pros: Works in HP dv6000 series.Good price (especially with mail-in rebate) Comment:
I recently upgraded my laptop from 2x512mb ram to 1x2gb ram. Even though its just 1 more gb of ram, the computer works much better! No more lagging, and I hardly ever see the CPU load go to 100% with gaming, photo editing, etc. Its a solid stable piece of ram. Recommended. |

Inceased the RAM in my Toshiba NB205 from 1GB to max of 2GB. Also upgraded the OS from Win Starter ED to Home Premium. What a difference both made. Now it is laptop, but smaller. I recommend a RAM upgrade every time when possible. |
