more stable temps, but how do you KNOW
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerApplied for I7 extreme. Using mb Intel Desktop Control Center for monitoring, temps seem more stable and don't reach the Highs as did the stock fan cooling system. Capable of overclocking, I do not intend to but ran processor at 75 pct during video render, gained appx. 5 deg. C, 3.4 gigahertz w hyperthreading on, turbo on. Bought this unit after researching push-pull config. is Highly recommended. Using dual bearing super quiet fans, less fan volume than pre upgd and used included fan to exhaust out bottom of my case, made whole system cooler too. Cannot trust system will always work if not monitoring due to no visible moving parts. Do you trust the manufacturer? Still having hard time with that one. Several system lockups since installing, not sure why, it never did before I installed this. Have to completely remove mobo to install, give yourself 3 hours of focused assy with testing. Take it slow and easy and use ESDS precautions.

Amazingly Massive Tower
Comment:
Corsair Obsidian 800D Full Tower Case The dimensions of this case do tell a lot, but nothing prepares you for your fist sighting. It's amazingly massive. My options are limitless. I can put what ever I want in it. The layout of any case is important and there aren't many (if any) as sound as this ones layout. Options, options, options are all you have to work with WHEN you buy this. Yeah...it's pricey, but buy it anyway you'll never have to buy another.

Bundle costs more than the sum of its parts!!
Comment:
Corsair 800D Case, H50 Cooler and TX950 PSU KitNot a good deal today. If you order these parts separately today you will pay 581.93 or 45.06 less. The bundle and kit prices should autoadjust as individual part prices change.

Great case
Comment:
Corsair Obsidian 800D Full Tower Case This is a great case. The only two reasons I put four stars on the quality is because: The mechanism for securing your devices in the 5 1.4 bays is bit cheap. For me one sliders that actually provides the securing kept coming off and still does not provide a firm hold on your CDROM. I would have rather seen thumb screws used vs that cheap slider. It would have been GREAT for the case to provide a rocker switch port, hole or even 5 1.4 bay plate to mount a couple of switches for turning additional fans or devices on and off. Other than that this case is worth every penny. When used with the a CPU water cooler the case is TOTALLY quiet. It is at about 10DB. I bought three 14DB 7200CFM fans and mounted them on top just in case I needed them. I haven't yet! This case replaced an old full mid case I had that was so full of hardware there was no room for air to move and thus my PC was over heating as I had to run my PC without the side cover on.

Great cooler
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerI bought this cooler as part of my Home Theater P.C. build. It sits on top of my A.M.D. Phenom II X4 965. So Far my processor hasn't passed 47 degrees celcius. It runs very quietly, and aside from having to modify (dremel) my Themaltake htpc case to fit, install was easy. I should mention I used Gelid GC-EXTREME thermal compound. I have had the cpu running at 80 to 90 percent for 6 hours and only saw 47. Running windows and basic programs it runs at 38. I am very satisfied with this cooler, and it isn't too tall like some of the big air coolers.

Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerAfter installing this on my custom built with i7 920 CPU the temp dropped between 6 and 8 deg C and it runs relatively quiet. On idle it's consistently under 40 deg C; before it was in the mid 40's

All-In-One Water Cooling!
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerNice entry level water cooling system. This should have come with a more aggressive fan from the factory, but I guess the focus was more on being quiet then maximum performance. Doesnt get good marks from me for value or performance considering i had to purchase a better fan to get my temps to where I felt comfortable using it.

Amazing Cooling
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerUsed for overclocking an i7 920 processor. This processor usually runs at 2.66GHz, but easily pushed it to 4.0GHz. Heat output easily removed by this device. Helped overclocking so much, system runs at substantially lower voltage compared to other overclocks with the same processor. Used a differnt fan to push more air through radiator. Super quiet. Used included fan to replace a generic case fan.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerI picked on of these up last week and I couldn't be more pleased. It keeps my cpu cool and is whisper quiet. Install was easy but did require me to pull my mobo out. Watch the installation video on the product page for a better idea.

Worked better than i thought
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerI use to be skeptical about liquid cooling but seeing this as a closed circuit needing little if any maintenance. I bought this back in February of 2010 and the first several days i notice it kept around the 120 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit but over time and mainly depending upon the temperature of my room. It worked best in pulling in air to the phins but adding a 3000 RPM intake fan and the corsair fan that came with the product in push-&-pull setup works great. Cooling a Intel 3.0 GHz Dual Core OC'd to 3.6Ghz at temperatures rarely exceeding 115 Degrees Fahrenheit. The lowest its been is right about 89 or 90

Best Value in Liquid Cooling
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerInstalled onto i5 750. So far runs super quiet and handles what I throw at it. Set the fan to be temp controlled. Normally idles the fan at 800rpm so cools pretty well. Bought it with overclocking in mind but haven't found a need to do so with the 750. Would have liked to see a better fan. This one is adequate but maybe more CFM or pressure would be better when bolted to the radiator. Runs as quiet as can be so no noise complaints. Just seems to not blow very hard when at full speeds. I have heard people like to upgrade the fan. I may try that. May need to if I overclock. TigerDirect shipping was fast and FREE. Can't beat that.

Simple alternate to liquid coolers...
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerSome people can't read, this is an enclosed system so there is no external ports or hoses needed to refil the system. According to the manufacturer, it will run non stop for over 5 years which is about the same or more than the life expectancy of some fans. Of all fans in a computer, the most important one is the CPU one. This system helps eliminate the heat generated by the CPU and disappates it directly to the outside of the case. The included case fan (120mm) is to help draw air across its radiator that disappates the heat. Though as with most we think of drawing hot air out of a computer and drawing cool air in. This system prefers drawing cool air directly over the rads, so it would have to replace an intake fan instead of an output one to be fully efficient. I can be installed as an output fan but the temperatures will not be as low as quoted.

Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerI have not purchased this item. But I would like too know, why is it $80 bucks. I have seen it up close and why is it $80 bucks. I run a bucket of fans and my temps are low with out liquid cooling. How is it that the liquid in this does not evaporate or cook off over time from heat and the 120mm fan? How is that possible??

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerRunning i7 950 On x58 Classified In A 932 Full Tower. The rear mounting plate was hard to install with my case. needed some minor adjustment to fit on my mobo. regardless the installation time only took 10 minutes. this cooler looks awesome I routed my radiator to the top of my case and ran push pull config with 2nd fan. My system at idle runs 19c and under load via bfbc2 runs 30c.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerWhat is your other logical option? Are you going to put a giant fan heatsink tower stacked on your CPU to save $20? The fan towers still require you to remove your motherboard to install extra bracing in the back. I'm running a Q6600 with an Asus P5N-D Delux MB. My CPU was pre-installed by a nameless barebones PC retailer with very little thermal paste. Under 100% load, my temperatures would approach 95C. With this Corsair Water Cooler, my CPU runs 100% at 33C and idles at 25C. I loved the pre-applied thermal paste. Super convenient. Super easy to install. Watch the video on this page before you install it. He has some good tips. I suggest you know how to take apart your computer prior to installing this.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerBought this for AMD Phenom II 965, the stock fan was way too loud and it was idling over 50 degrees and approaching 80 degrees when I played a game. After installing the H50 I idle at 31 degrees and go up to 56 degrees when playing a game.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerI run a i7 860, after installing this liquid cooling system, the load temperature never went over 55C, idle can reach a temperature of 25C. This is one of the best cooling products out there, installation is easy but takes time to install. You also need a case that is big enough to install this thing, other wise you'll be forcefully cramming the radiator on to the fan.

Solid performance and cost effective
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerThis was not my first liquid cooling setup so when I received this kit I did a full inspection of the unit and carefully planned out the install. My initial concerns were in part, the construction of the unit, and the directions for mounting. The overall construction seems sound, but the seal on the bottom of the CPU cooler is just plain frightening. That being said, trusting that the unit would not leak, everything seems to be working fine for me. I was replacing an OEM fan on a Core i5 system. Initial performance tests dropped the processor temps significantly. Further tests yielded good results and even overclocked the unit maintains more than stable temperatures. The OEM fan did not cool the system enough to attempt overclocking. If you are looking at solid performance on a budget I would highly recommend this kit.

good cooler
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerThe key to really getting the best temps you can from haveing this cooler is cold air flow. So you need cool or cold air for it to really show what its made of. If not its just like a heatsink. If you do have cold air tho you can see some crazy temp drops. For exsample im runing a phenom II black edition x4 965. Thats a 3.40ghz. At nice when the sun is down i can have a hot room and just open the windows with it feel cool outside and use a floor fan to start a cold air flow in my room my cpu temps drop from 34 c to 21 c some times 20 c. just to show you its about the air being cold to really show you what this cooler can do for you.
