Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerTook me thirty five minutes to install, a little surprised I had to remove the motherboard but not a big deal. CPU runs cooler under max load now than previously at idle going from 69c max load to 51c with this liquid cooler. MCP is running about 3c cooler also. Only issue is screws for the fam are in the way of the rear lip of my case so I had to bend this so the side would seat correctly, not a huge problem though.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerWhat to say, best CPU cooling device I've installed in a long time. Keeps my AMD PhenomII x4 running at 15 degrees idle and doesn't go above 22 degrees at full load. Best option for keeping your CPU cool, worth every penny.

scary but awesome
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid Coolerkinda scary the first time you use it just because its water inside your case, the hoses seem stiff so i was nervous not to bend them too much. installed relatively easy and quickly. no leaks and i just used the paste that was on there. dropped my cpu temp by 20-25 degrees and its super quiet

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerDo not purchased this unit. It will start leaking after just weeks after you install it. I almost lost my most recent build to this stupid system.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerOnly problem I had is the case I had bought was too small to accommodate it. I had another custom build computer and i swapped the fans for this awesome cooler.

This thing is great. Well worth the money.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerI got this because my socket 775 cpu was running at 106C When the computer was doing nothing. I think i overclocked it a little too much, 2.5 reg and overclocked to 4.2ghz. Once i got this tho my temp when down to 33C running full 3d games. PLus i overclocked it up to 5.6 and the temp stays the same. I did end up doing a pull push through the fins. The pushing lowered the cpu temp 10C. All matters. I had a problem with two things. One, the cpu water block was just suppost to push in and twist to hold it in. I had to losen the screws to get it in because it did not twist in like the movie shows. Also If you want to put another fan on you have to get special screws. There not the normal fan screws. Also make sure you have room in your case. One of my fans was taking too much air from my power supply fan, and i almost burnt up my power supply. YOu could smell something burning inside my power supply it was so hot.

Awesome liquid cooling
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerThis was my first liquid cooling purchase and I would recommend it to anyone. I upgraded my CPU from a C2D e6600 2.4GHz to C2Q q9300 2.5GHz. I wanted to overclock the CPU but not without liquid cooling so I got this. My old CPU not OC'd with the standard air cooler would idle at 32 Celcius. My new quad CPU overclocked to 3GHz and cooled by the HD50 idles at 16 Celcius. The HD50 radiator fan is set to Auto adjust by the bios. It's only running at 654 RPM right now. Under load it will spin to 1300 RPM to maintain the temp. I've heard others placing a fan on each side of the radiator for a push pull setup. I would have done this for redundancy and that little extra cooling but my case space won't allow it. The installation was easy. You'll have to access the back of the motherboard. I was replacing it anyway so not a big deal. Read all the instructions prior to the installation. Enjoy.

Every Computer Should Have One Of These!
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerThis is a great buy for the buck and it is worth every penny. Keeps my CPU super cool. I have a AMD Quad Core and keeps it at 40c. If I really push the processor no more than 45c. Only one complaint. watch what case you buy. The Radiator wouldn't fit in my case. I had to pre drill 4 holes and drop it down. Corsair should tell which cases work.

Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerI had been looking seriously at Air or Fan products, the stock fan was just barely keeping my CPU from bursting into flames. Idle, it was running 92C, I knew this couldn't be right, full load at around 102C it was CRAZY HOT! I found out about the H50 and was hoping for a drop to 70 to 80C. The H50 Blew me Away along with the Heat! I'm down to 26C Idle and 36C full load! Yeah this thing is AWSOME! I had an old case so I had to drill custom holes, but the install was about 1.5 hours, you have to remove the MB, but well worth it. All the pieces were there and instructions are easy, they also have a video. GET THIS THING!

simply fantastic
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerEvery other component in my system shows a higher temperature than my CPU with this installed. Running overclocked to 4.2, completely stable even under hard load my CPU only ever creaps up to 40, but usually stays around 35. At idle it stays at room temperature. The motherboard always shows a higher temp. That is simply amazing. When installing follow the guide and instal the fan pulling air from outside the case over the radiator for best results.

Excellent Cooler, very good deal.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerWith this cooler I managed to overclock to 4 GHz on my phenom 965, but I dropped it down to 3.8Ghz for platform stability. I ran amd's stability test (1 hour of 100% use). It passed the test and throughout the whole test temperatures did not go above 50 degrees C. On idle (while at 3.8) it runs at about 37 degrees. Very good value too, buy it!

Does improve temperature
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerDrops temp. approx. 5 to 8 degrees at idle for my 1366 i7 920. Unable to overclock presently but looking forward to the experience. Large radiator that I coupled with my high speed rear intake fan and the one that comes with pump. No lights or digital controller but who needs that when the MB does all that. Have to pull your MB to put on the lower bracket.

Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerOk i agree with the guy before me. It has gone up in price since I bought mine a month ago. I installed it and that was not an easy task because I had to take apart my entire system to get to the back of the board. After I used it for about two seconds it began to leak fluid all over my case. Luckily it did not ruin my other parts. I returned it for store credit. Need to have thicker lines to prevent leaks.

MUST HAVE FOR OVERCLOCKING
Comment:
Corsair CWCH50-1 Hydro H50 CPU Liquid CoolerI am a system builder and the last i7 860 i built had an idling temperature of 24c and fill load of 39c without overclocking, it give one lots of room for uping the voltage. The installation was 10 minutes. It comes with a 120mm fan so make sure the rear of your case can support it. BUY IT!!!
