Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 Vengeance 4GB 1X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory
Cons: Little tall

Pros: Excellent lookGreat quality
Comment:
I am not overclocking the single stick. This was placed in an AM3 system. With only 1 stick in the dram slots there is plenty of room to upgrade. Very satisfied with this stick at an excellent price.

Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 Vengeance 4GB 1X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory
Cons: Their heatsinks are tall so watch for clearance issuesThe stickers on the top of the heatsinks weren't pasted on securely. yeah, I know, BFD

Pros: FastBigReliableDoes what it says on the box and then some, unlike OCZ.
Comment:
I bought 3 of these when they were on sale on Boxing Day to replace my OCZ Gold 6GB Triple Channel Memory Kit.These gutless wonders in case you're wondering:http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=35710&vpn=OCZ3G1600LV6GK&manufacture=OCZ%20TechnologyGold, my a$$. Anyway, enough talking about junk. These Vengeance sticks were incredible! Plugged them in booted to the BIOS and there they were. They showed up at lower than stock speeds but I just selected the XMP Profile and they were good to go at 1600 Mhz. For some reason the timings were 8,8,8,24 instead of their rated 9,9,9,24 but I left it be. I then went into the DRAM voltage settings and made sure their voltage was 1.5 although I've heard some say they need 1.65. Upon rebooting the box came up and, in spite of the tighter timings, has been running great ever since. No memory errors..like OCZ, no hard lockups...like OCZ, no fiddle faddling with them to get them to run at rated specs...like OCZ. They work great right out of the box. Oh, and I didn't buy a triple channel kit. I just bought 3 separate units and they have no trouble running in tri-channel. (Yellowbeard's suggestion - http://forums.ncix.com/forums/?mode=showthread&msg_id=2281759&threadid=2281759&forum=111&product_id=57079&msgcount=7&overclockid=0#msg2281759) I tried OCing my box when I put it together last year but had absolutely no success no matter what I did. I believe, now, that it was the lousy OCZ RAM. With these new sticks I've got my confidence back and I'm going to give OCing a try again. Thanks NCIX for the great deal and thanks Corsair for helping to get my groove back.
