i have a dell e1505 that boots significantly faster and permits me to operate numerous apps with no the slowdown i had before. value was good and install quick and simple. laptop works now as properly as when i first got it. 1 gig to two gigs tends to make a big difference. i had to return another set that newegg claimed had been compatiable that were also corsair ram. newegg thankfully gave me no grief when i told them i got the blue screen of death right after installing that set. i had picked up another laptop for 300 not realizing how affordable i could get the ram from newegg. if your installing this ram i recommend going to the dell website and upgrading your bios to the most recent firmware. i had the v6 and upgraded to v17!
