Extremely effortless to install, large efficiency enhance Not purchasing this RAM sooner. I ordered two of these for my girlfriend's HP Pavillion dv6000 which came with only 512MB of RAM and Vista. Nice price for 1 gb stick. Recieved it in 3 days with low cost shipping. Toshiba Satellite M55 series laptop recognized it and ran, when product was installed by itself, in one of two available 1 gb slots. Toshiba Satellite M55-S1001 will not recognize this ram when paired with two older "major-third" memory brand sticks. The other two brands will perform fantastic when paired together in either slot, but this ram will not work in any combination with the other 2 brands, in any of the two slots. All ram is DDR2 PC4200 533 mhz SODIMM 200 pin CL4. Effectively re-installed my old two-brand 1.25 gb mixture. RAM produced to a specific spec ought to be compatible, regardless of the brand. I wish RAM makers would adopt a compatibility regular.

Girl was operating Vista w/ 512 and wondered why it was slow. Selling a Vista with that RAM should be a bigger crime than selling Vista period. These work flawlessly. I waited 3 months to evaluation. ++++ didn't install itself. Go for 2 gigs, I would have if she was paying for it - or nicer.

Fantastic laptop memory for the type that it is! None that I am aware of. I bought this mainly because it was the cheapest. Corsair is a good RAM business. I have purchased this item and other RAM from them in the past, and will be pleased to do once more!

Have had this memory for over a year now and have not had the first difficulty. I installed it into a Gateway MX3210 up from 256mb so good speed jump in some items. Definitely notice a difference when operating Ubuntu. none Only wish my laptop supported two gigs. Might be time to get a new 1.

Last year I bought two of these DIMMs to max out my notebook RAM, and soon after an easy installation, they've worked flawlessly ever since. I haven't used a RAM checker to verify that every single single MB is in use, but my system monitor says 2. GB, so I'm happy. None so far. The price has come down somewhat due to the fact I bought them last year, and if I hadn't already maxed out my RAM, I'd buy more.

Worked fantastic in a newer HP laptop that came with 512 MB and Windows Vista Household 鹀MB it came with! HUH?) Anyways, popped 2 of these babies in there and there was a massive performance increase! :) Cleaned some malware off of it and now the wife's mom should be happy once they get the laptop back! None Wish I would have waited because there is a 2GB kit on sale correct now for the cost that 1GB of these was at the time.

I am not a huge corsair memory fan, but these are a great cheap stick for notebooks. They are stable and perform as expected. Great buy for those who want a little more juice out of their aging laptop.
