Man is this very good ram for below 50 bucks and a new gig stick. it functions wonderful as a server ram since it doesnt heat up two much operating at 28 degrees C is amazing. I also have a good airflow case. Not any lag It doesn't appear kool like My OCZ titanium or SLi ready ram. but thats why its not ten bucks much more its the ideal darn price for folks who are arranging 2 be operating much more than 4 gigs of ram

I've ordered a number of of this sort of stick from Corsair for numerous mini-itx projects - they've in no way let me down None It's not a half-height stick Ɛ.75" height) - it may not fit in your situation if space is really an concern (really only for mini-itx instances and smaller). For reference, the standard height is 1.5" (which is what this is)

Seems to operate in the HP MediaSmart Windows Property Server. YAY! None Some machines will not see 4GB of memory, even in the BIOS. This is because those machines reserved an region of physical addressing space (not logical; believe Windows' MDL that maps among them) in order to shadow the BIOS and/or video. Therefore, some machines are definitely restricted to 3GB, or three.2GB, etc., based on their particular BIOS.

Cost, stability none for the value I believe heat spreaders might have been nice extended term but as it's not quickly memory and will under no circumstances be overclocked maybe that's not an concern. It's in a residence media server so speed isn't a large aspect anyway.It does what it's supposed to. The OS, 64 bit Fedora 10 is incredibly stable on it. It is what it is, and it's stable. If you need faster memory acquire more quickly memory.

This little thingy is running on Acer AM 1610. I have no issue with it. The RAM tremendously boosts the gaming efficiency. Rebate is particularly slow.. it's been like two months now, and rebate is nonetheless not back yet I bought it for 35 bucks.

I have installed this memory on Windows xp and an current corsair 533 1 GB stick and operates well. So, i have now a three GB of memory to run xp and no crashes! I tried it with Vista and personal computer testing web-site stated that my memory necessary to be enhanced. So, functions with both xp and vista but it works nicely with xp far better. Good deal on memory and other internet sites for the very same memory was far more than newegg. Thanks once more!

Popped this into my HP Media Smart Property Server and works like a charm! Remote desktop is snappier and machine is a lot more responsive. No brainer upgrade if you have 1 of these servers.
