Plug it in and take off! You need to have to be operating 64bit in order to genuinely take advantage of having much more than four gb of ram. I put these into a new laptop or computer I just built. Originally I was only going to use four gb of ram but I went ahead and spent the further $$ on this set and am glad I did. Multi-tasking created seamless with 6gb of RAM. None |

Installed these in a GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R. Booted up proper off, but it posted at 1066 frequency. Changed it in BIOS to Profile 1 and it's worked at 1600 frequency because. Runs perfectly on an i7 930 operating Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. Haven't identified any. I would get it once more, specifically at the sale price with ฤ MIR. |

Decent memory for the price tag.Windows rating 7.3. A single module died immediately after 12.2 months, so I'm down to 4GB and Corsair used to be awesome with tech assistance, but didn't answer line following 1 hour of waiting. Kinda disappointed in that aspect. Also finding this RAM to stablize right after CPU speeds of four.33 GHz was as well annoying. good memory, operates great, utilizing in a triple channel config with Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R. Fantastic for the price tag. Cas and Latency show as described in bios (no official testing accomplished, just going by mobo detection). none, see below. not actually a con of the memory, but, I had issues getting Win 7 to recognize triple channel config ƒGBx3), and some odd slowness on a brand new box (i7 930). I identified that in my mobo bios (GA-X58A-UD3R) the voltage showed as 1.5 volts, the ram says 1.65 but after adjusting the volts, and turning on Xtreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.) Win 7 recognized the 6GB ram, and all was fine. |

3rd Pc with Corsair, just about every time rock solid and performs as advertised every time, each and every kind, DDR2, DDR3, whatever. Looks cool also! none New Construct Shuttle SX56J3, I7/ X58, operates perfectly, no issues with special bios settings and so on. |
Cheap and decent good quality. Purchased two sets of these for a total of 12GB. No stability issues whatsoever. Some motherboards (the 1 I bought was the ASUS Sabertooth X58) didn't recognize the appropriate speed, but made adjustment in BIOS to 1600. Other than figuring out the right BIOS settings to modify, I have been pleased with this obtain.
