ideal replacement for most stock celeron d or p4 chips, even c2d's i'm positive. It's affordable, and functions excellent, and will mount a sivlerstone 80࿼mm actual) fan that pushes 70+cfm if you require a large kick in the pants for cooling on the cheap. I adore the straightforward instalation, installing my Gigabyte 92mm one was a @#$%^ but this was its polar opposite, just press and click, performed. can't really assume of any, sure the thermal paste felt cheap, probably was, but it's for an web machine and email checker, no require for arctic silver 5 or anything. It came just as I wanted, a CPU cooler in a box with thermal paste. That's it, no fancy guidelines, no several CPU mounts, just the HS/F and some paste mounted to a plastic mount to preserve it from moving. I adore it, keeps the expense down. Will get once more if necessary, otherwise, if you want to, stick a silverstone 80mm or 80framed 92mm on this if it's not undertaking fantastic sufficient anymore and watch the proc temps drop :)

Came as described, others here have primed me on the installation. Comes with a modest package of thermal grease. A lot to do the job and I'm keeping it just in case the clips etc don't hold when moving the Computer around. Very good Value. None. Just don't anticipate anything better than the Heatsink/fan that came with the Intel Processor. The plate that touches the CPU seems to have more surface region and I feel I'm superior in applying the thermal paste this time around. Clips are a pain but they function. My intel heatsink fan made noise so I kicked the side of my computer and dislodge the heatsink. I place it back together but the paste was dry and it kept shutting down Computer due to overheating my E6600. Guess I could have purchased just thermal grease but I opted for a newer heatsink to see if I can OC this Pc.

The fan couldn't have been easier to install, I just removed my other fan took off the xclamp and popped this fan in. Not only is it 2x smaller than my other stock fan but its a lot quieter and I seriously cant even hear it over the fan on my Radeon x1300. Also keeps my CPU just as cool as my other fan, which is alot to say for a fan below 12 bucks. Notta Wish my Radeon X1300 would quiet down!

Wonderful air movement. Installed in a really little situation. The power provide sits only 1 inch above this fan and the CPU nevertheless remains nicely inside it's thermal specs. N/A

Can't go wrong with the affordable cost, unless you buy applied.It's seriously simple to install, just push and lock. No backplates necessary.Included thermal paste which is nice, wish I knew this earlier, wasted ů on another thermal grease. sigh... A little bit loud simply because it's 95mm fan, you will get utilised to it. This cooler is truly for low-end PCs, it seriously wouldn't be a very good thought to use this for your quad core.

I got a employed mobo and Pentium D 1.8ghz for a price range create for a good friend and it functions extremely properly. The thermal paste that came with it was awful, ought to have applied the Arctic Silver I have.

I upgraded my wife’s light gaming/web surfing box’s MOBO and P3 to a new MOBO and a Dual Core E2200. I did not like the size of the fan the E2200 came with so I look about for an inexpensive bigger fan. That is when I came across this one for บ. My wife’s CPU idles at a cool 22 degree Celsius and by no means goes above 30 degrees when she is surfing the net and playing games. If you are constructing a rig for high end games such as WOW, then this is probable not the fan for you. If you are looking for a cooling fan that just plan function nicely on any standard low to mid level gaming/web surfing rig, this fan is just a great worth at ten bucks! Nothing against the fan, but I hate the Intel mounting method

These CPU coolers were bought in bulk, not all from Newegg since we had to have 32 nearly overnight. I believed they had been a bit flimsy, but I can say they have held up fantastic. Not a single failure - not a single. For what they are, they also cool amazingly properly. About 39 degrees C. No cons, we really created some money on this deal !!! Wish we could have placed the whole order with Newegg, but it didn't turn out that way. Newegg is generally our number a single alternative.

I purchased this cooler to put in an HTPC on prime of a Pentium D 840. It does a good job cooling (never observed CPU above 39 degrees) and it's not also loud, but is audible. This isn't precisely a knock against this certain product, but the Intel pins to set the heatsink can be such a pain from time to time. Once it's set it holds tight though. All in all, it's a wonderful item and am satisfied with it.

Good excellent. Could not get 1 of the pins to fit in the mobo with any orientation. I pushed difficult sufficient that it was stuck at least, hopefully the other three will maintain it in place.

its got a fantastic value, and it operates well. no difficulties, and it keeps my cpu at a excellent temp. its not super cooled, but its at a reasonable acceptable temp for a cpu no 4th pin to control speed. if you want one thing excellent and affordable, that will do the job, and you dont mind a small noise, this is a great remedy, especially for a budget computer.

Went in reasonably well.. Was a little worried pressing the clips so tough to get the click (motherboard bowed a bit), but I've observed that will all clip-on fans. Comes off with a quarter-turn with flathead screwdriver.Comes with heat grease. No instructions in box (seriously, an insert with a figure or two couldn't price much more than Ũ.05). Running Pentium D, three GHz. Idle runs at 38C, full load tops off at 53C. Don't actually know if that's high or not. In all probability could decrease with much better case fans (mainboard operating at 45C).

Shipped in two days, quite low cost. My stock heatsink idled about 45 and reached 50 under load I installed this (and a better graphics card) and it idles at 50 and reaches 69 playing rainbow six vegas two. i installed 2 further 120mm fans and a pci slot fan for the graphics card and it's this hot, it was 76 prior to!!! i correctly applied the thermal compound and the clips it came with had NO Chance of fitting by means of the tiny holes on my quad-core q6600 had to drill larger holes in my motherboard, a lot a lot more operate than worth it i wish it just had screws like stock

Heatsink and fan seem to be of high top qualityFan is ball bearing Noise level is OK, not good but OK.The "tool-much less, clip installation". (I can't install it) The "tool-much less, clip installation" is the worst thought ever. It does not fit on regular "screw" motherboards. So the heatsink is not mountable if your motherboard takes 4 "screw" mounts. I had to get rid of the fan and put it on my old heatsink in order to use. My CPU (pentium D 940) is supported on the product description list.
