great!
Comment:
everything's great... upgraded from 8800GT. if you are thinking about getting this card, make sure you have enough room inside... this card is HUGH! I had to separate my HDs just to squeeze this sucker in. oh and make sure you have enough juice in your PS.

Good Card for the Price
Comment:
I had to upgrade my case just to fit this card in because I didn't realize how big cards have gotten. I'm very satisfied with this card so far it runs Call of Duty 4 at max settings with no problem and any other game I want to play. Recommended.

SICK CARD
Comment:
This card rocks! I had dual 8600GTs in SLI prior to this. Tried dual 9600GTs and had several issues with random lock-ups, tearing, flickering, etc. Returned those and went to the GTX 260 and I'm so happy I did! When the price drops a bit more, I'll probably get another and have them run in SLI!

GAMERS
Comment:
I purchased this card to build a mid range gaming machine. And it turns out to be a high end gaming machine. Dont hesitate to buy this card. You can overclock it. But most likely you wont need too. This card play my games on very high with zero lag even in ArmA's heavy vegetated areas, Overall Great card and it gets pretty hot. But thats no problem. Go Gamers.

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896-P3-1255-AR Video Card
Cons:Had to get a 2nd to run games at 2560x1600 with good framerates, running in sli lets me do it though. The new 55nm card runs cooler, as a result has more headroom for OCing, and looks nicer (doesn't have the flame decals).

Pros:Perfect for 1920x1200 in most games, quiet and great temps.
Comment:
Get this card, it's great for most resolutions and you can always get a 2nd down the road if you need the power of a GTX 295 for cheaper!

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896-P3-1255-AR Video Card
Cons:Loud when fan is turned upBigTakes 2 slots

Pros:Faster than my 8800GT.
Comment:
I bought this card to upgrade my 8800gt which was good but i couldn't play games in 1080p with average settings. Runs cooler than my old card once the fan was turned up to the same percentage. Price is $100 less than when i originally bought it but that's what happens to pc components so was expected. Stepped up to gtx 275 before my 90 days ran out and all i had to pay was shipping. Overall a good card but didn't have it for long.

Threw this into a i7 920 Build and it runs everything the user wants at max settings. He seems to be happy with it. NVidia's drivers are quite mature.

Threw this into a i7 920 Build and it runs everything the user wants at max settings. He seems to be happy with it. NVidia's drivers are quite mature. This is most likely overkill as the computer is used primarily for Adobe CS4 and all that various editing tools.

THIS CARD ROCKS
Comment:
Got two cards hooked up in SLI. Handles everything I throw at it on max resolution. I plan on buying a third for a total of three for SLI config. Card does run a little hot. Make sure that your case is big enough to handle the card and it has enough cooling fans. I have the Cool Master which works fine.

Pros:Very nice so far. Not alot of noise, and seems to run very cool.

So far this Video card is working great. I have not had any troubles yet, though it has not been long with it. For the price it is really worth getting for a starter computer.

Pros:For the price, very good performance

I've replaced my 7800GTX with this unit and for the price, I'm more than satisfied with the performance. Mail in rebate + a game + performance and price is a win situation.

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896-P3-1255-AR Video Card
Cons:Coil whine at high fps

Pros:Can run all the latest gamesNot very loudCooler and uses less power than ATI cardsOverclockable
Comment:
This card can run the latest games at high to max settings without costing a fortune. I liked this card over ATI ones because it is cooler and draws less power (40C idle, 65C load). It is also quiet - although the fan is clearly audible, it is not a jet-engine like many other video cards. The only issue I had was the notorious coil whine under load, especially at high fps. Also, the included package is pretty sparse, only the GPU and a couple of cables. EVGA has a utility to overclock the card. Mine arrived at stock speeds (unlike some lucky people), but OC'd nicely to SSC speeds.

Cons:things longgggg... had to rearrange my HDs on my Antec Nine hundred to fit it in, and its a big case... squeeling fan...

Pros:runs cool, 741gpu 1094mem OC
Comment:
very affordable video card considering what it can do. got a superclocked for no charge, thanx NCIXslightly slower than my 8800GT SLI setup. but will be 3way SLI soon enough, so no bother. its idle temp is around 40ish and 50ish full load with a room temp of about 22, im really really impressed how cool it runs, really good cooling. coz the air being exhausted is quite warm. its highly overclockable. overall a great buy, the prices have come so down since the GTX275 has arrived, wich is really nice to see. thank you EVGA!!!

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896-P3-1255-AR Video Card
Cons:- Card is very long, might not fit in small pc cases

Pros:- Incredible performance- Card runs very cool, 40 C on idle and 60 C under load- Lifetime warrenty
Comment:
Very impressed with the performance. Running on an intel dual core E2200 does bottleneck but it still runs very well but I would recommend a faster pc. When playing crysis on 1680X1050 with shaders and texture set high and the rest of the settings set medium I would get 35 fps average. The card also came as a GTX 260 SC.

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896-P3-1255-AR Video Card
Cons:-10.5 inch length-Somewhat high power requirement when fully loaded-Sounds like jet engine at 100%

Pros:-Quiet at idle-Good power management-626MHz GPU clock out of the box
Comment:
This card replaced my really old X1900XT 512MB, it's performances are really great.Out of the box, GPUz indicates this card is clocked at 626MHz instead of the 575 MHz reference, this probably means EVGA sends at least SC range cards to everyone.Great product for gamers and enthusiasts.

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896-P3-1255-AR Video Card
Cons:None that I've seen.

Pros:Outstanding performance, very easy to get even more using evga precision which is included in the box or available for download.EVGA warranty/customer service
Comment:
Upgraded from an 8800GT, and this card just blows it out of the water. Running most games flawlessly at 60+ FPS, can get Crysis averaging around 30 with settings maxed, occasional dips in very intense firefights, and much higher in interiors. The card is set at 700/1400/1200 with stock cooler, runs about 37 idle and 68 under load. Running with an athlon 64x2 6000+ clocked at 3.38 and 4 gigs of ram. Definitely a worthwile upgrade, my games are performing much better. Also, EVGA's customer service makes choosing their card compared to buying BFG or XFX a no brainer. The current sale is also a perfect reason to make the jump, as I payed over $100 more than this (sale price on 04/18/09 is $220). If you are on the fence about this, buy it now and dont look back, you will be glad you did. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-18-09 02:01 PM

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896-P3-1255-AR Video Card
Comment:
Great high end card for the price value. Blows away my old EVGA 6800XT out of the water. EVGA has superb customer service and quality. The card requires a good PSU and overclocked CPU to get the best of the card. At least 3.0ghz overclocked for decent performance from the card.

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896-P3-1255-AR Video Card
Cons:Too many new models coming out, Dawn of War 2 lags big tims on this card.

Pros:Price, Performance, Overclocking? and warranty.
Comment:
I purchased this card on sale because it was just as much as a 250 GTS at the time, my other option and it offers pretty decent performance. I haven't OC'ed yet, might want to but not until I get a new CPU, my 5200+ bottlenecks a bit. The warranty is great as always but the one thing I noticed was DOW 2 lags REALLY bad on this card, more than it should and that's a major issue so overall i was still disappointed.
