EVGA GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) FPB EE 01G-P3-1371-AR Video Card
Comment:
Very good value and worked effectively when it did. Card went defective within two weeks. Built a new technique for a friend and he named me back two weeks later stating his pc froze. I went over and troubleshooted unique components. Apparently there was a driver situation with HD Audio on GTX 460's that triggered freezes, nonetheless after reinstalling and assuring the HD audio drivers weren't installed it nevertheless froze, often on commence-up at times an hour later. Verified this through putting the card in my own program. Quite disappointed how my RMA went, just received an invoice following an additional week of the card getting with newegg that my RMA was denied since of no retail box and accessories. All I asked for was a replacement card, not a refund. This is extremely frustrating, in the past newegg didn't have any difficulties with this sort of point.

Worked nicely proper out of the box. No cost efficiency improve was a nice touch by EVGA. ྾% idle speed is great)Runs Mafia2 with max settings and physx ᤞ-40 fps. Will be shopping for an more one particular to SLI. Fan speed is noisy underneath load compared to the 200 series. Idle temps with 2 monitors going will not let the card to kick into energy saving mode to get these nice 30C idle temps. EVGA has excellent client support and will often buy future products from them.

Smaller sized than earlier cards. Decrease energy and cooler operation. DX11, Fermi. EVGA's exceptional Lifetime warranty.Very overclock-able!!! Price. For my setup none. This card is just plain wonderful. Fantastic Job Nvidia! I upgraded to this from an EVGA GTX275 896mb and this card is smaller sized, quicker, considerably cooler temps and cost less than I payed for the 275. Quickly overclocked to 825񳉢. Evga Precision operates completely if you want to set up profiles. Subsequent step is to go SLI :)

This is the second assessment I've created for this exact card. Bought 2nd card in Dec ཆ to run two-way SLI. Amazed is all I can say. This is the 1st time I've run a machine with an SLI setup. NVidia Manage Panel profiles were simple to configure Fans are a bit noisy when they rev up. Only two-way SLI. 1st card I purchased began to go negative (severe artifacting) following about 6 months. Was seriously disappointed, nevertheless, since I registered the card with EVGA ideal following I received it I submitted an Advanced RMA request on their website. It was authorized and I had a replacement card within four business days. I need to say that I'm very pleased with EVGA's client support.

Comment:
I was turned on to EVGA by a former co-worker when I built my final machine 5 years ago. I've been running with GeForce 7800 GTX video cards up to this point, and the GTX460s have blown me away! The greatest distinction is the noise. The old 7800s had been really noisy when the fans ramped up, and even following obtaining out of a game, they would remain high for a couple of minutes till the board cooled sufficiently. The GTX460s seem to only ramp up when graphics are insanely intense, and following quitting, the fans go back to whisper quiet. Great job on this, nVidia!Dual-SLI is operating like a champ on my ASUS PT6D-Deluxe board. The size of these cards is crazy! Make positive you have at least 2 open PCI slots on the rear of your case (per card). Also, based on the mobo, you may well be possessing some fun creatively running cables about the case. I had to take both of my cards out to run the firewire cabling and the analog audio cable to my (now retired) DVD burner. Also attempt to maintain the fan intakes clear of cables and keep a straight-line of open space from the case intake fans to the card intakes to make sure optimum stability. Some of my private gaming stats utilizing these cards (VSync off and working with the supplied SLI cable between cards):WoW: 60 fps with max vid settingsSCII: 120-150 fps with max vid settings Negative Firm 2: 45 - 55 fps with "High" settings. Ultra induced proc heat to spike to 78C, so these cards may possibly be in a position to deal with the pressure of Ultra, but make positive the rest of the system is stableBattlefield 2142: 80 - 120 fps with max vid settingsGTA San Andreas: 120 - 180 fps with max vid settings

It runs every little thing I throw at it on max settings. Grant it, I run 1920x1080 due to having a 1080p monitor, so increased resolutions will suffer frame rate but for me this is no problem. I purchased two of these cards plus two EVGA mobos in the past two months. The most latest GTX460 was two days prior to the Meto 2033 present!! Come on EVGA, I bought a lot of your stuff, hook me up with a download! The overall performance boots BIOS upgrade was cool.

I came from a GTX 9800+, so the difference was like the dark ages to nowadays. I cant seem to get this factor hot. When left on auto fan manage it only goes to 70c immediately after 2 hrs of gaming. If I turn up the fan to 80% it tops out at 62c. This card is onl 8.five" long, kinda looks small in my case Nothing at all truly. It's less flashy than my 9800+, just a straightforward stripe on a black background. Like that matters. So far no issues, its wider but shorter than my 8800GT so it fit wonderful. Not to mention a Enormous upgrade, the AA is a bit superior as well, so that was nice.Came with all the necessary cavels even a couple 6-pin converters if you want em.Relatively very, quiter than the old GT8800.Runs Cool.Fallout New Vegas= Max with 40-50 fps, HDR seems to choke it a bit but could just be the game.WoW=Max 4x AA 70-80 fps over 100fps in an instance/raid.SC2 = Ultra with FPS to spareRunning 5-5-5-13 Corsair, Q6600 OCed to 3. Be careful not to set up HD Audio Driver unless your monitor has speakers, I had to reinstall MoBo Audio driver, not truly a con just a percaution, supplied computer software/tweaker seemed a bit weak. Consider Ill try MSI afterburner for my OCing. Havent OCed but have heard it OCs wonderful, often wait a even though prior to OCing a new card. ComWith the release of the new ATI Radeons I would wait before paying for an Nvidia upgrade, I would assume the cost of this card would drop at least ฤ.

Smaller sized form factor than the GTX 200 series. Runs cooler than my GTX 260 Core 216 AND my GTX 275 did. Has Dual DVI with Mini-HDMI 1.four. Considerable raise over the GTX 275 that I upgraded from. EVGA lifetime warranty. Excellent graphics card. I don't have a con on this card. Like a earlier reviewer stated, EVGA has posted a free BIOS update for this card, fhttp://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m, that will boost it's performance.

Great is all I can say. Tried a single 470gtx and it just ran to hot and was power hungry. Operating a pair of these in sli currently and can't complain. Idle temps at 28C and total tilt gaming at 56C max. LIfetime warrenty also. Wish you could run these in tri sli. Overclocks stable at 860-1720-2000 and all i can say is sweet.

Every thing! Little size, low power consumption, low heat output, rapidly video card. Not really a con much more of a comparison.... it runs hotter below load than my 8800GT but I would expect as much given that it is a quicker video card Tested Settlers 7, Crysis DX10, Mafia II, and Aion and all run smooth on my system.

Very good card, lot of processing power. Can't manage 100% load. Immediately after about six months, I upgraded my CPU. My Q6600 was severely bottlenecking this monster. I upgraded to a Phenom quad and OC'd it to four GHz.Apparently, this card had by no means noticed one hundred% load just before, simply because it hated it. I was playing BFBC2 and my game crashed out. My windows went sideways and anything went to hell. I thought it was perhaps my processor becoming so OC'd so I dropped it back a bit. Exact same thing. Pull out EVGA precision, the issue is hitting 100C and crapping out. Fantastic.Pulled my case apart, re did the airflow, place a 70 CFM 120mm on it and it nevertheless overheated.Confused, I stuck my gold GTX 260 in. Boots up. Run a stress test, it sits really calmly at 51 C under full load on a FurMark burn out.Place the 460 back in, fails at 100C again.I redid the heatpaste. Nonetheless failed. I don't know if I got a undesirable chip, a poor cooler or what. Really frustrating. It was good whilst it was bottlenecked, lol.

Nvidia has finally figured out (again) how to construct a card. I got this card to replace my GTX 260. And this beauty idles at 38c according to evga precision and HWmonitor. A full ten degrees less than my 260. I left it at stock fan speed of 40 and it never ever went more than 60c playing FEAR2, max every little thing at 1920 x 1080. Smooth as silk. Prepared to go play some more. For 赨 it really should take longer than 15 min to do the upgrade. But it didn't ;-) Buy this card. I am so freakin' amazed. It's taken Nvidia practically two years to do a vid card right - but this a single is it.

Just got this one particular straight from EVGA nowadays (preordered). This card is an absolute beast in a tiny small package. I've owned tons of cards, and this is with no a doubt the strongest 1. 5770, 5830, gtx260, gtx275, gtx285, 9800GX2, this is greater then them all.I'm glad I didn't bother to get the superclocked. This beast hits 850 core clock on stock volts, and 900 with the max capped 1.087 Ƒ.000 is stock). Also hit 2100mhz on the memory 񢆈 is stock). With the 850 overclock on stock volts, this card hits 64c max with 70% fan. At 1.087v and 900 core clock, it hit 74c max. I use MSI afterburner, great program for these tweaks. *insert your favorite joke here*Seriously, this card is THE finest bang for the buck available proper now.You could say that it nonetheless utilizes two six pin connectors, and it won't do tri-SLI. But honestly it's no huge deal. The scaling with the GF104 is superior, so two of these in SLI is just as excellent as two gtx470's and in some games even approaches gtx480 SLI overall performance. This is the AR element number, lifetime warranty! The TR is only two year, so get this 1!

These cards are astounding. I purchased two for use in SLI following the Gigabyte model had heat problems and had been returned. The external exhaust program is far far more suited for close quarter SLI use as the hot air is getting ejected out from the rear of the card and not into the case, or in my case, straight into the fans of the card above. The fans run quiet and I am only in a position to hear them above my situation fans when operating furmark which forces them above 80%. I use MSI afterburner for custom fan manage temperatures. Two of these in SLI will tackle anything at all you throw at them for some time to come. In spite of how incredible the hardware is, I have to say that the largest draw was EVGAs client help track record and limited lifetime warranty on this model. Their registration is simple and straight forward and even allows you to upload an invoice or receipt of buy so it is on file for future warranty claims. A protective cover for the SLI bridge connection would have been nice, especially for these not going to SLI use immediately. In the planet of Pc hardware, trusted buyer service is paramount. EVGA seems to recognize this and has made a name for itself in nvidia card customer assistance. Th

Wonderful Card. Jumped up from my 9800GT to this, and it blasts it out of the water. Just clicked "Optimal Settings" on Just Result in two (which came totally free with this card!) and it ran perfectly. Would highly recommend this card. Also has a lifetime warranty (denoted by the AR at the finish of the product number). Sort of large; barely fits by my HDDs in my Antec 300. Undoubtedly works much better in a complete tower. Also doesn't run the free of charge Metro 2033 at optimal settings... :( It came with two totally free games and a SC2 Trial. Finest deal on the net.

Rapid and cheap. Greater overall performance then my two 9800 gtx+s in SLI. Add in DX11 and a gig of vram, remarkable. PerformanceI'm operating crysis on all high and quite high settings at 1920x1200 with avg fps at 40+. Can also run crysis two on Hardcore settings at 1920x1200 @ ㅖfps.Size:About an inch shorter then my 9800 GTX+Temp:I've been folding non-quit for the last 3 days with no a challenge, acquiring 9500-11000 ppd and with the fan at 100%, it's hovering at 56c, under total load.Power:According to my study, it makes use of about 150w, the exact same as my 9800 GTX+Noise:You can hear it with the fan at 100%, But if you're playing a game, you won't notice it. When the fan speed dops below ㅹ%, it's undistinguishable from my case fans. @ ㅠ%, it's almost silent. I purchased it a week just before it came with the free of charge copies of Mafia II and Just Lead to two. I'm arranging on getting a second 460 soon, with the two in SLI, I must get comperable/better efficiency to a GTX 580, and for a total of 踈 (after mir). Also, if you want to see what settings you can run your games at go to geforce.com beneath the tab "optimize" you can see the recomended settings to run games at for 9800 GT and later models.

- Considerably smaller than my old EVGA 8800 GT and the ATI 5000 series cards.- Fits effortlessly into my Antec 300 mid tower.- Installation was rapid and painless.- Even though idling, the card is very quiet and cool. The tower makes no audible noise from 2+ feet away, and the card idles around 33ºC.- Somewhat audible below load, but substantially quieter than other cards of comparable horsepower. Load temps will vary depending on case and cooling, but mine has yet to go above 75ºC.- Games run fantastic. Starcraft 2, Poor Firm two, and Metro 2033 all run smoothly at high settings. - The card takes up two PCI slots. The a single con I have for this card is a minor a single. Most mid to high-end videocards these days take up two PCI slots. And, if you're a person who essentially requirements the horsepower of a card that does, you probably already have accounted for this.General, the card is wonderful. Low power draw, quickly overclockable, stock cooling works fantastic, and potent sufficient to manage the most current games nowadays by itself. The real kicker for me is its SLI capabilities. Toms Hardware and Techspot each have accomplished a critique of two GTX 460s in SLI, and the overall performance to cost ratio is simply amazing. I plan to get another a single soon for SLI.
