EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SE (Fermi) 01G-P3-1366-TR Video Card
Comment:
does everything I ask it to. Very quiet-- I haven't been in a position to challenge it adequate for the fan to kick up to a high speed. It's huge, but seems a tiny smaller sized than my EVGA GT9800. It does fit in a mid-tower case. I'm not confident why it has a mini HDMI connector with an adapter as an alternative of a standard HDMI. not actually a gamer - got this for photo/video editing across two 1080x1950 displays. You do will need the extra power on your PSU-- it does come with two 4 pin adapters if your PSU doesn't have 2 six pin PCI connectors

Really good card for the value. And now it's 贿!? That's a steal! Just a single of these poor boys permits me to play virtually every thing on the industry at max settings (Crysis is the exception) in 1920 x 1080 res. This baby is quiet, it's cool, and it's a workhorse. Get two of the these monsters in SLI and you will be flying higher. Easy Installation Massive. When I say monster, I imply monster. This thing is huge. I'm not going to knock an egg for the card becoming huge, but just keep that in mind when your purchasing. If you have a little case (mATX) or a lot of PCI/PCI-Express cards currently installed, you're gonna have issues. This issue requires up basically two slots. It slides in a single covers up another. Just keep that in mind, specifically when getting two. I don't know. This card does 2D nicely and keeps cool, approximately 27C at idle. I have not played a game however to evaluate vs. my GTS 250 񤃈GTX+). Faulty card. This card dies inside 1 to three minutes of running ANY 3D application. At first I believed it was just the game I was attempting play, Dungeons and Dragons On the net (DX11). Individuals can have a lot esoteric problems with that certain game, and I thought I was one of these unlucky ones-- but none of the publisher's ideas worked.I contacted eVGA and they are beneficial. I ran 3D Mark 11 and 3D Mark ten to pressure the card.... Both failed instantly with NVidia Kernal errors. Temps stayed low. Voltage from my motherboard/power provide is inside specs. Attempted to run Battlefield Undesirable Corporation 2 (DX10)-- the game failed inside 1 minute of loading the map and beginning to play. Artifacts galore suitable before failing in all tests.Suitable now, as of these days my case is nonetheless open-- but I did return the card to my regional retailer. (Sorry Newegg-- the card was a spur of the moment purchase...) I do have a new 1 to attempt out now.I am hoping I just got a 'bad one particular' and the new card will perform. Actual physical construct, retail packaging and accessories are superb.

Comment:
Fantastic graphics for the price. Got it with the cost-free games, which was a good plus, and they seriously show off the capabilities of the card well. Huge card, takes two six-pins. Have had slight boot issues due to the fact installing it, but nothing at all that's impacted my technique functioning as it did before. Got this right after I RMA'd a Radeon card that wasn't cutting it for me. A tiny bit much more high priced, but much better specs, and greater functionality. Sticking with nVidia from here on out.

Runs truly cool ࿀C idle, 50C Full load). Easy to set up and plays my games (Rift, WoW, and so on) on ultra setting like practically nothing. Its quite major but what can you anticipate from a super beast haha. Also it calls for 2 six pin connectors from the PSU but that shouldnt be also substantially of a difficulty with modern day PSUs. ɛ

-good card.-clean show. -none. I'm not significantly of a gamer but my new computer system can back up blu-ray movies (with compression) making use of dvdfab and CUDA enabled card I can burn a film in a little more than an hour. A big improvement more than the four-10 hrs it took before the upgrade.

Works as advertised, gaming imagery is top notch In spite of mentions elsewhere on the world wide web, this card doesn't work perfectly with qualified software. If you're a Houdini or Mari user, you're far better off taking the plunge and obtaining a quadro.

Comment:
This card was made with energy and efficiency in thoughts. It decimates most games on max settings as lengthy as your hardware isn't too out of date. I would recommend the minimum energy supply at about 550 watts. It runs quiet and is very possibly the ideal card for the price tag variety. It also runs extremely cold at idle and at full load. I cant consider of any true cons unless you consider a excellent card for a great price a con.

Comment:
Had this card for a tiny over a month, and upgraded from an XFX 8800GT 512MB.Haven't noticed any massive differences in games. I've primarily been playing RIFT on high or ultra settings, and get a steady 25-30 fps ,I'll see far more fps when I upgrade my cpu. Not seriously a con, but gpu-z shows my fan speed usually at 40%. and it never moves...even min, max, and avg speeds all show 40%. I've attempted Reeva-tuner but for some purpose I can't change the fan speed like I was in a position to with my 8800GT I may possibly SLI this card.. with this cost, it's a possibility

Not too big...can barely inform when the fan is operating. Price-effective overall performance increase and DX11 compatible. Requires two six-pin PCIe power cords. Not actually a con but the card only has HDMI and DVI outputs...didn't understand till after I bought a DVI-VGA adapter that EVGA supplies one particular with the card and it had fallen out of the box in my haste to get it installed! I upgraded my GPU from a GT 220 to this GTX 460 SE. This card is certainly good, particularly for the price tag. Runs Empire: TW and Silent Hunter IV at high settings with decent FPS ྐྵ-35). This is my third card from EVGA and I have in no way been disappointed. EVGA's programs for overclocking and program monitoring are extremely user-friendly and effective. I will likely be taking benefit of EVGA's 90-day upgrade system and step up to a GTX 560ti. This is a solid card but I've decided I'd like the further horsepower of the 560.I ordered this card late on a Sunday night and it was delivered Wednesday morning w/ free of charge shipping! Ư bonus egg for delivery!

I am just blown away by this video card. There are alot of cards out there and if you can not come to a decision, go with this 1, trust me you will not be dissapointed! Whats a con? ;p

EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SE (Fermi) 01G-P3-1366-TR Video Card
Comment:
This card is great! I was stuck amongst the SE model and the standard model. I seriously was thinking that the reduction of cores between them would be a huge impact. This card IS just as great as it's non-SE counterpart with overclocking. I've over-clocked my card and it's operating fantastic. It handles all games I throw at it perfectly. Crysis maxed out on 1920x1080 on my 32" Vizio at anywhere from 25-30fps (Very detailed areas) to 60+ fps.I got this card for a steal. Got it for 128.99, Shipped free of charge on e bay. Although, even for the price tag Newegg has, it's still wonderful. My buddy has the typical GTX460 1GB, I ran it in my Pc and got the exact same final results! It's not free of charge? Also, my temperatures are fairly stable, but the fan does kick on rather loud at instances. Doesn't bother me at all. Just reminds me the the fan is doing it's job :) This card is great. It surely could be deemed a high-end card. It probably is, but men and women try to make it appear worse compared to the standard GTX460. It's honestly just as great. Perhaps you'll notice a distinction in some games due to the lowered number of cores, but nevertheless. I can't complain!

Good solution. High specs for a fantastic price. Pushes SC2 on Ultra with absolutly no problems. Comes with a miniHDMI-HDMI adapter. Its not even all that loud as some say. None noted. From what ive heard from other individuals, it could run a small warm, but i havent noticed something. Verify the measurements. At 1st, I believed it wasnt going to fit on my mobo. Come to find out, i worried more than nothing at all. Great card all round. Ideal for a mid level gaming tower.

By now, definitely, this card is not quite top rated of the line. But for what it is, it's a terrific acquire. Games appear splendid, and the performance has been completely unperturbable. The rear tabs had been a small off-center, creating installation a mite tricky. Not worth docking factors, but some thing to consider. I ordered this Monday morning--delivered Wednesday evening. Comment:
Able to run Crysis two beta at full hardcore settings on my 1900X1200 monitor. Card is modest and only requires two six pin power conns. Below regular use it's quiet but when it wants to the fan ramps up (see cons below). The card is nothing unique and I only chose it since the price was ideal. The fan sometimes tends to make a clicking or rubbing sound. It's not all the time and I can't reproduce it manually. It's unsettling and I'm not sure regardless of whether or not to return the card or take the chance. There is no cause for a brand new card to do this so that's why I'm deducting 2 stars. I'm not interested in overclocking. My 1155 method is a lot effective. And I won't be making use of it much for gaming so I didn't need a 躔 card.

Amazing graphics card, I upgraded from two 9600gt's in SLI and this card is far superior in overall performance. Also the Evga percision software program is amazing for over clocking testing your OC and keeping over all tabs on your card. Not genuinely a con but stock fan speeds are seriously slow and they necessary to be set higher. When putting in this card, make confident you also set up Evga precision software program to up the fan speed a small bit. If you don't increase the fan speed, it will start acquiring a tiny warm when your in the middle of a intense session of gaming.

This card worked wonderful for two weeks with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit . “Windows has stopped this device mainly because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" or I get a blank screen and then a message NVIDIA display driver recovered from a critical error. I have tried all the archived and new drivers from NVIDIA website with nothing at all but the same errors. Starting to feel it is hardware and not application connected. I replaced the XTS 460 SE with my old GTS 8800 and it has worked flawless. Surely sounds like a poor XTS 460SE?
