It handles virtually each and every MMORPG I throw at it on high/ultra settings. Even so, sometimes I lower the water and distance to relax it a little bit. I'm not very confident if this is a con, but the highest my GPU has ever gotten is 55 Degrees Celsius. If you are looking for a spending budget gaming pc under 600$, I would advocate this! :D

-1 GD5-quiet-low power 鸂 psu advised)-durable on an old rig, been running for 2 days and no challenge-replacement for the old 8800 GTS (bought a Radeon 6850 HD but had to RMA due to defect)-reputable driver -no Eyefinity (oh nicely, it's not a Radeon) could deal with starcraft 2 and supreme commander 2 at full resolution and highest settings with ease

Plain and basic, this card rocks. I've had it a week and have thrown every little thing I can at it with out one single difficulty. No lag, no fragmenting/choppiness, max framerates. It's huge? But hell, they all are nowadays.. Well worth the money.

Tiny and compact. Worked excellent for 2 weeks and run cool. Only 70% fan speed. Then right after 2 weeks of use booted Windows 7 and no cards detected. Device Manager shows errors. ReBooted and same factor. I had better luck with my two 8800gts ssc than 2 of these. Probelly will by no means by one more evga card once more. Drivers, Fan speed, No cost-free performance increase. Come on EVGA get your act together and assist the lower end guys your a multimillion dollar company. All I can say is never ever once again will you get my income.

Wonderful video quality. A lot of user controls to adjust fan speed and OC the card. Excellent size fit nicely in my Thermaltake case. Couldn't use the HDMI port on the back correct away. Had to install my OS and drivers with my close friends old CRT. When you get every little thing installed make sure you install drivers to get the HDMI port operating.

I guess this would have been a excellent video card had it worked in my system. The principal problem I had with it was the HD Audio that insisted on attempting to set itself up as my main audio source. This led to a fight among my onboard audio (which I like just fine) and the cards providing. Try as I could I could not resolve this. NVidea ought to actually look at this problem and make it an selection to install or not...I can't believe I am the only one who has had a dilemma with this. Really, I know I am not right after reading other critiques. I sent my GTX-460SE card back after a few frustrating days. Onboard HD Audio- sucks. Manufacturer Response:Hi,We do have a remedy for this, please call us at 888-880-3842 so we can step you by way of it.Thanks,Jacob

Installed on a new Windows 7 64-bit program and on an Asus X58 Sabertooth motherboard. Worked excellent proper out of the box. Grabbed the most recent drivers and they appear fairly solid. Games appear great. Not silent, but quiet adequate. EGVA makes wonderful nVidia video cards. I have had actually great experience with the last couple EGVA cards I've employed.

Solid card for the funds, runs anything I want it to. The physical size of the card is enormous, so in a smaller sized case, it can be a pain to install. Also, it runs rather warm so make certain you have sufficient cooling capability. Neither is an actual con, just the realities of gaming on the Computer these days, same as the viruses that a lot of significant publishers install on your pc along with the games. Do NOT EVER use UPS for shipping. They had been too ignorant to read the massive sign out by the road with my address on it, instead deliberately delivering it across the street. Even although they had to walk under that house's street address in order to drop it where they did. UPS employs illiterates for delivery drivers. Avoid making use of them if you don't want to danger your orders acquiring stolen.

Does precisely what it is supposed to do at the suitable value. Decent middle of the road video card. UPS got it to me in 3 days and I'm pretty satisfied. Nicely... a lot to my dismay, it didn't come with the VGA to DVI adapter, just the 6 pin cords and the HDMI to mini HDMI cord, eben though the adapter was listed on the box as included. So I'll have to go out tomorrow and get myself either an adapter or a DVI cable (my monitor utilizes either). Couldn't be happier... aside from the AVG to DVI adapter not getting included.

EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SE (Fermi) 01G-P3-1366-TR Video Card
Comment:
Cost for efficiency is exceptional.I purchased for operating WoW, in hopes that I could maybe play on medium to high graphics with 60fps.I can actually run every little thing on Ultra settings and play 75% of the game at 60fps. Totally surprised me. The other 25% of my game time is spent about 40fps, which nonetheless remarkable with Ultra settings.I have yet to see the card reach above 55* Celsius. It ought to be noted that I am utilizing a Cooler Master Case. A con for some, meaningless for other people.I've tried overclocking the card using both the software program that came with it and MSI Afterburner. There was not really massive efficiency improve. It just didn't seem to respond nicely for the amounts I wanted to boost it by. No artifacting for the duration of 3D Benchmark...just no real quality increase. In the finish, it's not a major deal to me. And probably not a big deal for others. Like most cards in this cost range and efficiency, its a large card and requirements 2 6pin PCI-e energy cables operating to it. Space can get tight with so much going on.With most any upgraded case, you'll have adequate room.If you're stuffing this into a small, stock case, it can fit, but wires will be super bunched up.Just a heads up.Definitely worth the get. It cranks out incredibly good efficiency.

None The 9800 shuddered genuine bad (when I went into caves or sewers) even though playing Fallout New Vegas, In high detail. Not so with this card. New Vegas plays good now!

I was leery about updating from two 8800GTXs in SLI to a single card. I didn't have significantly to spend, and settled on this...and it's been like night and day. My previous cards idled at 50°C, and at full load pushed 90°C. That seemed very hot for me. This card idles about 23°C and full load about 50°C. It also powers via almost everything I can throw at it, such as Ultra settings in Rift, getting 60+FPS at max settings in WoW, to name a couple of. It's also about two-3 inches SHORTER than my prior cards, which gives a lot far more space in my case, helping with air circulation. It doesn't cook breakfast for me? In the method of ordering a different 1 of these puppies to throw into SLI. Positive, it's not a best-of-the-line card, but I'd have to say it's the greatest bang for your buck you're gonna get.

Sexy! Runs just about every game I've tried (wow, mafia II, just trigger II, Crysis...) at max settings at 1920x1200, rarely drops below 50fps...ever. And it's a reasonable size for a graphics card! My old EVGA 285 GTX was a monster. fan is a bit noisy under load WTB blue LEDs.

Good value for performance. Running high res programs at max settings with 20+ fps minimum. None When I had HDMI plugged in, it was causing a couple of problems setting up the drivers, but just unplugged and worked fine. I believe I would have liked it superior if it had two fans rather of 1, but it nonetheless runs stable at a decent temperature.

This card is all you will need to play contemporary games in full HD. No want to break yourself on additional power. This card is surely one of the best performers for it's price. I couldn't even begin to call it noisey, and it's worth getting one of my expansion slots covered for the sake of the external exhaust. It does cover the expansion slot subsequent to the one it's in. Not actually a difficulty if you know what you're working with, correct? Mini HDMI...? Would've been quite unhappy if they didn't incorporate an adapter. I guess it would add a few inches if you're stuck with a brief HDMI cable...

I was utilizing an old system, Ran Wow at 11-17 fps outside and 35-50 inside (dungeons, buildings)with 30% or so graphics. I then saw Television ad's for Rift. Had to have the game difficulty getting sys reqs were way too high. I bought three diff pcs and returned them till I located a perfect 6 gb RAM 4 core proc. pc and added on this nvidia 460SE card now Running Rift at 100% 20-30 fps, and WOW at 100% with constant 60+fps. 1600x900 resolution. 21" screen I had to spend an xtra ฮ bucks for a bigger energy supply. (a very small complaint) But worth every penny to be able to use this card. Every little thing I expected and much more. If you acquire a diverse card to save 15-20-30 bucks, don't cry about the lack of performance, acquire this card.

Really affordable.Great performance to cost ratio.Runs cool (idles in between 15c-20c and 25c-35c at full load). Can be (slightly) overclocked. Draws far more power than expected. This is the replacement I received right after performing an RMA on my first DOA card. I popped this in, set it up and started running benchmarks. I identified that this card gave a 2x to 3x increase in FPS over my 8800GT, and I was happy with that. I ran benchmarks for many unique apps and found every little thing to run at 30fps+, including Unigine's Heaven Benchmark.I attempted some overclocking and was moderately successful. I gained about a 5fps improve at very first, but then tried to bump it up a little more. Apparently, this card begins to draw a lot of energy as you pump up the clock speeds. I have my computer system plugged in with a space heater, and a breaker tripped! I'm running an 850W energy supply. I recommend this wattage or higher if you strategy to overclock. Otherwise, you could blow your energy supply.I recommend this card to anybody on a budget! I'm operating it alongside a 1090t processor and 4GB Ram.
