I got the EVGA as a replacement for the Gigabyte one particular. the Gigabyte had the "driver reset concern" so it was RMA'd. I'm glad to report the EVGA has been flawless @ 900 MHz, and I've logged some severe time in LotRO with it. none.

really great card, not also massive. very good upgrade from GTS 250. BC2 runs quite smooth on higher. finest bang for the buck card. runs to about 85-90C on auto-fan handle even though playing BC2, have to manually turn it to 75-85% fan speed to get it (could possibly be poor airflow in case, who knows). gets really loud anything above 65% fanspeed. quite pleased with card. definitely handles all the games I play now with settings quite significantly maxed (Bad Firm 2, TF2, League of Legends, Magicka). Comp Specs: AMD Phenom II X4 955,  3.52 GHz. Win 7 64-bit. 4GB Ram. 600W Corsair GS600 PSU

crysis warhead benched 20 frames on average with a 700mhz gtx 260 c 216, 560ti benched at 35 average. not negative gains, much more consistent frames with less frame drop as properly. 260 topped out at about 63 degrees already noticed this hit 82, nevertheless the temp drops to a lot less than the 260 ever would much quicker as properly, NO noise...at 70% or much less fan my 120mm's on my antec 1200 drown out the video cards fan. it didnt give me a one hundred frame rate jump from my 260 if you do your research you know the type of energy your acquiring, as effectively as heat and power consumption. Nevertheless i took a gamble on evga vs the gi*gaby*e hoping this card would be a lot quieter. I know its a reference cooler but the result are somewhat vague nevertheless on averagenoise, its a small more high pitched at complete speed than the 260 but no louder. pleased as could be for getting to spend for it

Thier Warranty's are always solid. The cost I beleive will drop soon enough so cost at this time. My setup is a Athlon 64 Phenom2 x4 three.two Ghz CPU,four gigs DDRII 1066.And seems to pretty substantially take care of what I threw at it with the exception of Metro2033 at complete detail max resolution got some slow dow. Should mention I did not do any updates to the game if there is any.Using the newest Drivers from Nvidia for Vcard & mainboard.

This card is fantastic. I picked up two of these for my wife's XPS 720 to replace her two 8800GT cards that we got when bought the method. Set up went quite smoothly general. The cards need two energy connectors on every so I had to run some added juice down because I only had enough offered for one particular of the two cards. They run quiet and she is pleased with how the Dragon Age II Demo looks with them. We updated her XP drive with no situation and Windows 7 recognized them just fine. None so far. In order to run two of these I had to daisy chain some of the legacy power connectors and use the included power adapters to get them adequate juice to run. Not a fault of the card but I do be concerned a bit about whether or not her 750W power supply will be able to manage these along with a single harddrive and a DVDRW drive. I think it should be fine but you never know.

This is a wonderful piece of hardware and really a bit smaller than preceding cards produced by EVGA. Not by considerably, but if you're operating with a modest situation this card might work perfectly for you.The card is fast, the drivers are stable and I am thinking about purchasing a second 1 of these so I can lastly take the plunge into SLI. Newegg undoubtedly dropped the ball on my order. It took them roughly four days to approach the order even even though they charged my credit card nearly immediately. It took about eight days for my video card to be delivered. It's not a deal breaker by any indicates, but Newegg has gotten me utilised to possessing the factors I order be there within two-3 days tops. When I know people today that order factors from Newegg right after I placed my order and they get it frist a person, someplace really messed up. It's one particular factor to wait for a book, but when I am waiting on a new video card I am like an anxious kid... longest eight days ever.

Installed it extremely effortlessly it was even smaller than my 9800 gt ultimate. This card won't max everything at 1080p but if you play at 1680x1050 or much less than it must get seriously close to max in most games. I've been playing metro 2033 and Napoleon Total War with all eye candy turned on at 1680x1050 and have been getting very smooth frames. If I ever upgrade for 1080p I will absolutely get one more a single and sli them :). Can't actually think of any I got every little thing I wanted and expected with this card. If your on the fence about finding a new card you can't go incorrect with this 1.

So far this card has been operating wonders for me. I bought two to run a SLI setup. And so far i haven't played a game yeat that i couldn't set up almost everything on high 1920x1080 res and not play it with a incredibly excellent fps rate. They tend to run a bit hot but my less hot than the 470 i replaced. Still hot but getting better nvidia. I consider my situation does not offer you sufficient air flow but it hasn't got scary yeat. Not a bank breaker if you want to attempt sli or get performance increase without having receiving 1 of the large sun replacement cards.

It's from Evga = Great buyer service, very best warranty in the company. (Warranty that 'supports' overclocking!)Purchased three-three-11I bought this to replace the Giga 6850 that had issues, and I'm amazed at the benchmark scores over the 6850 and from a individual perspective it's just plain quicker. Of course I've read as a lot of professional evaluations I could about this card and all agree that this card competes w/or beats the HD6970 and competes with the Nvida 570. At the value vs efficiency point this card beats all other gaming cards. All that aside it's the Lifetime warranty that steals the shows for me. If you are going to get a video card (any series) buy Evga! NONE I purchased mine from Evga directly considering that NE was out of stock at the time, and I wasn't charged sales tax or shipping so that saved me around ฮ. Be sure to register the card for your warranty, also this card is apart of the Evga step up plan! And you can call there tech assistance 24ǝ and speak to an "English" speaking person, there tech support is outstanding!FYI: these card have a max operating temp of 99c (from Evga tech assistance), and they do get hot w default fan speed enabled so use Evga precision utility or MSI Afterburner and set up a fan profile and dramatically decrease temps. If there's a flaw its that the fan noise is a not loud but type of annoying to me above 70%; thankfully it doesn't spin up that high unless tension testing. My temps in gaming hover around 45-60c fan speed at 60-68% (nice and quite). Extremely incredibly please with this card and personally suggest it to anyone looking for a DX11 card.

Replaced my GTS250 green card, I was getting 25fps max settings in BFBC2, now I'm getting 200fps max settings. I don't notice noise from card, graphics are evening and day distinction. This card calls for 12v at 30amp on the powerrail of the provide, it states a 500watt supply as minumum, on the other hand examine your supply, the minumum should be at least 700watt. Wattage is a misconception the producers are selling. Verify the rail outputs. This card creates alot of heat, but thats what they do when you perform them.

Particularly fast card and seriously high cost to performance ratio when compared to 570, 470, and 460 Nvidia cards. Furthermore, the card utilizes alot less power allowing me to comfortably hang on to my old 630Watt power provide. the card is also a lot smaller than the slightly more rapidly 570. I ordered two of these cards for two seperate PCs. 1 Computer begun to crash to a blue screen of death when gaming just a couple days later and rapidly determined the issue to be the graphics card.EVGA normally has a increased common for quality. "Shrug" guess they are starting to drop the ball a bit.

DX11, Cuda, PhsyX, 3DMark 11, and two games included. Fully functional GF114 core. Great overclock from reference specs. Kept to the NVIDIA reference style. Greater efficiency than the 470. Idle temps are awesome 27-28c. Folds more than twice as rapid as my GTX 285, which this replaced. At full load the card can get noisy. At 70% fan speed it is quite noticeable; although it keeps my temp at 68-70c as well. Just make confident your case has adequate ventilation as this card does not use a blower strategy for exhausting heat. It dumps the heat into the case.

Lots. Efficiency, physical size, sound output, brand support, overclocking headroom. Fantastic for F@H, PhysX native As with all newer hardware..rates are usually a bit steep. No solution for 3x SLI, minimal computer software package. Great card for the cash. Decided to upgrade my son's Computer. Sold off his GTS250 SLI setup and moved my GTX460 SLIs to his Pc. I had some EVGA Bucks creating up so jumped on a single of these (if it had been a typical purchase...you know I'd purchased it from the EGG.) Runs something I can toss at it @ 1920x1200 with lots of eye candy cranked up. At present operating my card @ 1000 core, 2000 on the shaders and 4400 on the mem. Have it overvolted to 1.100. (MSI Afterburner) Temps are still fine even with the boost in voltage. Roughly low to mid 40s idle and folds @ 74c. At these settings seeing around 15,000 PPD.Rest of process:Corsair TX750Intel i875k @ four.2ghz (Corsair H50 WC)EVGA P55 SLIRipjaws X DDR3 2x4gb150Gb WD Raptor X640Gb WD AAKS2Tb WD GreenNote to AMD....Don't worry, got some of your stuff here also.
