I can now run games on max? This was an upgrade. And I adore it. Playing Dragon Age: Origins correct now. went from med/high settings to maxed across the board with no lagging. Turbine engine for a cooling fan. Seems to run hot... I don't like 70c + temps. But the fan is uncomplicated sufficient to manage and when I game, I just set it to 70%. which is right prior to it morphs into a turbine. Will need to upgrade monitors... Making use of an old Sony Trinitron Multiscan E500. Better know as Mr. Lead Box. The cable and adapter are heavy enough to result in sagging on my old card. Would like to eliminate that in case it causes difficulties...

I'll sacrifice a bit on GPU temps to maintain my general program a lot cooler, but oh properly. *I wasn't able to get it from the egg : ( Free of charge 3D Mark 11 is cool, nevertheless, I wish it was an included scratch card as an alternative of the submit a request and wait issue. I understand that there are more quickly iterations of this card that will be offered, on the other hand, EVGA's warranty makes it possible for me to actually push the clocks and it doesn't treat me like a youngster by not letting me re-tim the thing. General this is a wonderful worth efficiency wise and it's great to see the evolution of the wonderful GF104 (The initially actual fermi GPU).

Got this card as a big upgrade, went from a GT 8800 all the way up. The card is excellent and am at the moment running all of my games at ultra settings with no an issue. Got the newest drivers and 3D Mark 11 is giving an error that the drivers are not supported so it will not give me correct readings. not a huge deal. The fan can get fairly loud right after gaming for a though. Not a big deal as I normally use headphones, but it can be a hassle if not. Wonderful card that can run something out proper now. Never ever had an concern with any game. Would undoubtedly get yet another one particular.

Following substantially debate, I decided this would be the card to replace my trusty ATI 5770. Though the 5770 was a fantastic effectively-built card, this thing is a significant step up. I went from a 128-bit bus with a bandwidth of about 75 GB/s to this card with a 256-bit bus and, with the factory overclocks, a bandwidth of 134.8 GB/s! And I haven't even tried overclocking it myself however. All my games are maxed out, or at least close. I play Bad Corporation two at 1920 x 1080 with Advanced visual settings, all DX11 characteristics on, and 4x AA and getting at least 60 FPS. (This according to FRAPS.. and my monitor's refresh rate is capped at 60 FPS) The card is also quiet... no louder than the whisper-quiet 5770 it replaced. It's great to be back to Nvidia. My ATI card was fantastic with solid and mature drivers, but I constantly felt Nvidia has their stuff together far better on that front. Not a lot at all. This card is clearly high good quality. I did notice that it gets a tiny warm. Immediately after only 30 mins of playing BC2, temps had been up to around 63 C, and I have a large quite nicely-ventilated case. But I suppose that's to be expected with the factory overclocking, so it is what it is. I believe this card hits that sweet spot for upper-midrange efficiency on a budget. I picked this up for 趚 even on sale with free of charge shipping, so the value is non-debatable. Of course there are folks who say "a GTX 570 is much better". Properly of course it is. That's why its a GTX 570 and this is a 560. Nonetheless, this card crushes most games and normally fees 贄 much less. And no, you can't play Crysis or Metro 2033 maxed out... but not many cards can. And cease me if I'm wrong, but as technically impressive as the above games are, they just aren't that Excellent. They score sky-high on visuals and technical prowess, but not so much on originality or enjoyable. And even if you DO like these games, this card can run them just fine.. not maxed out, but more than playable although hunting good. This card is solid.

Upgraded from GTX 275 to this GTX 560 Ti card. Wow, it's like night and day for efficiency. I can now run BFBC2 with all settings on high and the fps never ever drop beneath 60.Not only that, this card runs cooler, makes use of less power, and is quiet when at idle. The GTX 560 series card doesn't have an EE (External Exhaust) model yet like the 570맜's. Not having a EE model is no large as has I have the massive Thermaltake MozartTx Entertainment Center case for added cooling.

With the dawn of DirectX11 coming upon us, it was time for an upgrade. I was arranging on the GTX 460, but I decided to skip and get this a single. It is pretty sick, plays games at truly high detail. I have only observed it reach 70c on strain testing (using EVGA's OC Scanner, Furmark crashed for me, may well retry now.) Also feels excellent to be playing games back on high settings rather than play hardly any games but not quite detailed games @ 640x400 resolution. Don't use the Graphics Driver on the CD, their not the best ones. Instead, go ahead and download the 266.66 driver from Nvidia's site rather. Other than the not so very good drivers included (Easily fixed), no other cons at the moment to dock an egg. Attempting to overclock this card appropriate now. Will post a follow up evaluation some time at a later date, saying what overclock settings I have attained and how it's working. Also not genuinely a pro or con, but rather bugging me, the encasing about the heatsink (the one you see on the initially image in descriptions.) is in fact rounded. It almost certainly brings in more air (the fan sticks out), but I didn't actually know it was like that at first.I hear this around the net, and its accurate that the GTX 570 is superior than this card, but its nevertheless 贄 much more, and out of the price tag range of some.

Incredible GPU, Geforce.com shows the GTX 580 running Crysis two in fullscreen at 1920x1200 with no v-sync and the technique specs on extreme with an average fps of 45. I have this GTX 560 ti overclocked to an 1850mhz processor clock and a 2198mhz memory clock(using Evga Precision). Nevertheless, with Crysis 2 set to the exact same settings as the GTX 580(other than my resolution which is 1920x1080), I am able to get an average framerate of 55 (never dropping below 35fps) in the last mission making use of Fraps and not counting the cutscenes or loading screens since they are not gameplay and whatever fps you get from them would not affect your gameplay. The game also runs just fine with the exact same settings and V-sync on, but i don't see screen tearing with it off. Runs a little hot, nothing to complain about, just make confident your tower is well ventilated. You can usually manually raise the fan speed of the GPU, it will be a little loud though. This is the same card as the Crysis 2 version also by evga, its just less expensive. Also, I have however to see how the GTX 580 is superior than the GTX 560 ti, even if it is, its not a quite big difference. Absolutely not worth the immense enhance in cost. If your thinking about a GTX 580, just SLI two of these, I'm carrying out fine with one

Really sleek card, installed with no difficulties. Just make confident you have your old nvidia drivers removed. I have spent ours reading about this card, and it's hard to if it genuinely does bottle neck a e8400 at 3.6 - 4.0ghz. I can run BC2 On High 4x Anti , 4x Antro, no issue with 85-90% CPU Load.If you are wondering if you must replace your 8800GT, DO IT. This my 1st upgrade to my wolfdale rig because 2008.Also this will run on a 550W PSU, at present waiting for my Cooler Master Silent Pro M 850W to arrive, seeing I killed my Actual Power 750. 60% Fan speed is the speed spot, cant right here it and card runs around 45C although gaming. gf114,far more g-ram,evga's lifetime warranty, evga's step-up, smaller size etc... If they drop this card down to the 200-210 price point it will be THE card to have. runs very cool. Generally at 30-33c idle and the worst ive seen it get to in my system is 64c, and that was 3dmark11 with 85% percent fan. i can overclock it to 992񳎬񳑎 with no touching the voltage at all and still retain the above temps, fan set in between 75%-90% although. fan noise at 75% and above is approaching unbearable. a gtx260 at 100% fan sounds like this cards fan at 85% fan. if you dont overclock considerably than you can get away with the lower fan speeds, but if you want to overclock kinda high and in fact stabilize it for everyday use, than your going to have to live with some fan noise. it dumps at least half the hot air back into your case. if you have a little case, poor cable management, alot of components like hdd's, opticals, etc... internally, your going to see some temp increases in all your stuff. how significantly? it actually depends on what scenario your talking about. pci-e ports are on the finish of the card, so what you made up in a smaller pcb, youve now taken up with the power ports. not too swift. ONLY dual sli also, but i can see why trigger if you could triple or quad these no 1 would obtain any other card!!! lol... im running a lian-li computer-v2010b, evga 780i f-t-w, e8600 @ four.02, xigmatek balder, 4gb g-skill 8000 ddr2, computer p@c silencer 750 and wd black 750gb. all in all, this is a wonderful card. i dont know why nvidia just didnt tweak this chip a small and use two of these for the 590. that would have been a amazeing item! card itself only pulls in between 190-200 watts, for any person researching psu's.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this card so far. Puts out a great resolution, I use a 42" plasma to play games, and the quality that comes out of the mini-HDMI is superb. A extremely recommended obtain. This con sort of goes along with my motherboard's placement of PCI-e slots, but it's a large card: putting two side by side in SLI would be tough, taking into consideration that they would be on leading of every other basically. This card, even with it's size, is a excellent deal.

Quite nice graphics adapter. Mid range cost and it outperforms its price (as of my date of purchase). Doesn't seem to run too hot, even though I have two in my chassis. I attempted to run two of these together working with AMDs "HydraLogix" chipset, but at the moment it DOES NOT Support this card. I ended up buying a new motherboard and going SLI - which I enjoy. There are some new games (Crysis two, for example) which NVIDIA currently does not support SLI on, nonetheless I anticipate this to be rectified in time with a driver update. As noted I can't use SLI playing Crysis two, but this card can deal with the 'Extreme' setting for hours at a time going it solo. I set up the secondary card for dedicated Physx processing although playing any game that doesn't play nice with SLI, however I do think Crysis two does not use Physx. Overall I would very suggest this GPU. I am quite, incredibly pleased with each of mine.
