Cons:None...small?

Pros:Looks greatBest 2.1 speakers you can get for under $100Fully shielded
Comment:
These babies look beautiful and sound just as good. At this price range (around 90 after PM) there isn't anything you can get that's of better quality. Very pleased with my purchase!

Cons:bass adjuster is hard to reach

Pros:Everything, small size, controller
Comment:
AMAZING speaker for the price. The only area for improvement that I can think of is better mids, but otherwise I cannot imagine better sounding 2.1 speaker set. Definitely recommended

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:-Midrange (**update  Mar 17/2009: see strengths above**)-Needs good input source, otherwise will expose flaws, especially in the highs, eg. cymbals, sibilant "s".-Volume knobs on the control and subwoofer are not "sensitive" enough, ie. need to have it up to about 2-3 o'clock position before it is loud enough, whereas most others would be only around 10 o'clock.

Pros:-Power and clarity-Excellent highs, yet not harsh-Thumping bass that is truly low and defined, not "one note"-Midrange (**update  Mar 17/2009**) much much better by putting the satellite speakers into bookshelves or against the wall, by using the reflective surfaces close by to support the mids, as suggested by bonedadaism. Thanks!
Comment:
For the price match, there is no other 2.1 speaker under $100 CAD that can match this sweet pair of speakers for sound quality and quantity. In fact, it is so good that it can sound better (except for the sllightly recesssed midrange) than most audiophile home speaker and amp combos costing 6-8 times as much!I would easily pay $30-$50 more for a slightly larger speaker unit with a larger midrange 3" driver that would project a better midrange to match the already excellent 6.5" subwoofer and 3/4" tweeter. Now that would be an unbeatable 2.1 system! This review was modfied by poster @ 03-17-09 11:41 PM

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:-No switch to digital/analog inputs-control knob connection

Pros:-Loud-Nice looks-Compact-Great bass-Good sound quality
Comment:
Very good speakers for the price I paid. The control knob for this glows blue, which I didn't like but some people might like it. I don't like the connection for the control knob (which looks like a vga port) because after I plugged the control panel in and took it out again, when I tried to plug it in a second time, the screws don't screw in properly. The knob still works though. Speakers were smaller then I thought and produce lots of base (if you switch the base on the subwoofer on max).

Upgraded from the Logitech Z-640's and wow what a huge difference. Use with an x-plosion and i love these things. I wasn't expecting much for $120 speakers but they've blowen me away. Not the room thumping base you get with logitech, but _way_ better sound quality over all.

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:Doesn't have a mute button on the controller like my old Edifier set.

Pros:Sounds great and looks very nice against be piano black monitor! DIGITAL inputs!
Comment:
I got these to replace my older Edifier set up and these have blown me away. I can't say that they have the best audio quality out there, but for its size and price tag, these are definitely work every penny. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-09-08 04:45 AM

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:Not very loud

Pros:Digital and analog inputs, great looking, great price
Comment:
Highly recommend these speakers for use in one room or office. The sound is very clear when using the optical inputs. In digital mode the volume is capped at a relatively low level, but this isn't bad. Unlike creative and logitech speakers the design looks good without trying too hard. cheers. jb

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:-nothing

Pros:-Solid sturdy build.-Excellent sound clarity (bass, mid, treble can all be clearly heard)-sub 150 price point.-volume knob is very elegant and useful.
Comment:
For the price point, this is a steal.Clarity and quality output is the only thing that it makes. Had it hooked up with the included headphone jack -> AV and the sound was superb. Switched sound settings to digital and the sound is much clearer. These speakers doesn't put out too much bass or too much treble like the previous Altec Lansings'.

Cons:-weak subwoofer

Pros:-Digital Input-Clear Sound Output
Comment:
For the price I got them at $90 PMed, it definitely beats out many of the more "powerful" 2.1 systems in quality. The design is very sleek and matches well with my system.

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:none

Pros:digital input, CLEAR sound, cheap, nice looking
Comment:
I can't believe I waited so long before buying digital input speakers. There is no noise whatsoever coming from these speakers, even if the volume is at MAX. So the sound is crystal clear! I'm very happy about these speakers. As for the bass adjustment button that is not easy to access: well this is intented to adjust the bass according the location of the woofer and the size of the room. This is something you do once! Make sure you do it properly, otherwise you will hear that the satellite speakers don't have any base (which is normal and fine).

Comment:
Edifier produces some excellent audio products. The S330D is a very nicely build unit with great value. The biggest benefit is a digital connection which so far I haven't seen on any other 2.1 speaker set. Overall, this is an excellent product and I would highly recommend this model.

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:none.

Pros:clarity, quality, looks
Comment:
I have had these for some time now and meant to write a review sooner, but anyway, here it goes. I orignally had these hooked up to my x-fi via analog and ended up switching to the auzentech hda xplosion analog then digital connection(using analog headset for gaming). The sub is a little boomy, but I have heard much worse and not much better for a computer setup. The little monitors are clear but the sound field is really narrow so positioning is important. The monitors are very clear and crisp. I am very happy with these as they are suitable for both gaming and music. I noticed NCIX does not have any in stock, hope they haven't gone eol, they are nice speakers and perform well. little volume wired remote is nice too.

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:None really, except subwoofer bass control is on the back of the sub (not a big deal, as I just change my bass through software).

Pros:Very nice sound for music (don't know about games).Beautiful looking satellite speakers.Crystal clear highs.Bass is good with it turned up all the way (maybe not enough for those who like a ridiculous amount of thumping though).Easy hookup.Separate speaker wire connects on satellites and sub with a wire connector.Remote pod lets you control volume and hook up headphones (lights up a cool, fluorescent blue).
Comment:
Very beautiful speakers deliver crystal clear sound.Great, punchy sound that is ideal for music. Incredible to hear things I couldn't before.Very highly recommended. Buy this, you won't regret it!

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input

Edifier S330D 2.1 Speaker Set 72W RMS High Gloss Black Piano Finish Digital & Analog Input
Cons:none

Pros:Very well builtGreat soundCompact satellitesReal wires !!! (from sub to satellites)
Comment:
This is a great looking and sounding set of speakers. I already have the S2.1D model, the S330D is the same but better. Same toslink and coax audio inputs, but a bass volume control is included on the sub. While the S2.1D were conservative looking, the S330D is more stylish and more compact (for the satellites). Just get these, you won't regret.

Cons:None.

Pros:Very nice and well built 2.1 speaker system. All wood construction.Cool wired remote.Very nice finish on speakers.Great sound.Optical input, Co-ax input.
Comment:
This is a very well built speaker system. The sound is as good as or better than most expensive computer speaker systems. I like them better than the Klipsch Promedia 2.1. (thats why I bought them). Also they are 100% wood boxes. This is my second pair of Edifier brand speakers. My "audiophile" buddy heard them and had me order him a system.
