Sturdy small board for the value. All the standard functions have pre-installed drivers by windows, except the LAN. Came with almost everything necessary to get it up and running fast. If the PCI-e slot was 2. it'd be awsome, but meh, the slot operates fine as is. The LAN drivers don't come with windows & aren't integrated on the CD that comes with the board. Not a large hassle if you have a flash drive though. No challenge with the board thus far, so I'm fairly pleased. I feel I'll most likely attempt Foxconn again on my subsequent spending budget rig.

Modest, price efficient and trustworthy. Functions wonderful with windows 7. None that I can believe of. Foxconn has constantly been very good to me. This is a fantastic choice of a board for a budget develop.

Solid efficiency. Built for my teeanage son and for my wife. Each systems have been operating good for about a year now. Wonderful cost! None. If you want a no frills motherboard that does that standard job of Net, e-mail, office function, and so forth, this motherboard does a good job for the price tag.

I essentially purchased the board for testing other components, CPUs mostly.Which is not typically, so, it was there hunting at me!Got a fantastic value on a cool seeking case and had some entertaining building!What really was interesting, the Nvidia 6100 on this does superior than the Nvidia 8400 on a Laptop?? Now do not hold me to this! On Second Life Graphics it can go Ultra and water looks real, the 8400 Medium is the limit, any setting past that looks same??Maybe something I not fully grasp.This a good board for testing or just a great low-cost create for typical expectations and has the benefit of upgrading if a individual need more. Maybe they ready for a clearance?? WOOT!! Do I hear an Egg Cracking? New Egg not have the CPU's at this time of writting? Unless it can do some BIOS upgrade to help AM3? Installed without having a hitch. Took my old AM2 processor, no questions asked. Front panel and USB all great to go. :) None at this time. Fans are running full out, but I suspect that is due to older style fans connecting to a newer board. (The 4 pin connectors for the fans will also accept the three-pin fans I already had, but likely disabled the speed manage. Will appear into additional when there is time.) The price of developing a franken-pc with old parts.

...eventhough they "say" they have a high technical undertanding. The checksum error that the beginner was acquiring is simply because the CMOS setup demands to be run. This standard on a new create. None since I don't own the board but I actually needed to comment on the prior post. Fantastic motherboard for the price tag. The connectors etc. are properly placed, produced for a genuine uncomplicated build. Only that it does not have a 1394 connector for the front panel and a four terminal cpu fan connector. I tricky wired the cpu fan to the unused floppy connector to run @ 7 volts due to the fact the cpu fan screamed although hooked up to the 12 volt connector. I utilised this board to replace the board in an HP Pavilion a1657c on the inexpensive. Win XP Media Center booted proper up, did the driver issue then reactivated.The only things missing had been the 1394 terminal for the front panel - the front panel "line-in" and the rear RCA jack. This certain buyer did not care about these products.

This board replaced the blown out asus board supplied by compaq corp. On the other hand, all the panel settings, regions to plug in the different connectors are all there. No complications to report. The only con I can believe of is waiting more than an 1.5 hours on high speed connection to download the chipset driver for windows 7 64 bit. I had a major headache seeking for the infared driver. Its there. This is an encounter I will by no means forget, This motherboard took the old components, AMD Athlon 3500+ , with 1 gig of ram, which windows uses tiny drop of, And the tough drive the computer had. Not to mention getting a new license windows 7 pack was a good concept. Its extremely suggested.

Initially oh all, I like the New egg's quick shipping, and M/B works fantastic, small size straightforward to install on any size of case. assistance 2 memory slots, I have four pcs of ddr2 1gb memory card.

None I had a single for about 14 months and it fried. Ordered a new a single to replace it and it was DOA. There are other boards in this value range that are a lot better. You cant beat the cost,It appears like this is high excellent stuff here, even although I paid 36$ it looks like a great 70-80$ board, its smaller then any micro atx board ive ever observed.. I believe it has only 5 or 6 distinct screw holes which was effortless to install and the back plate was fine, I have this new spending budget build all put together, I just havent booted it however I cant consider of any for now, lets wait and see what occurs when I try to turn it on Cant beat the price

When it's working, it functions good. When it starts with Detecting Array on boot, it's a actual discomfort. I tried to install a new DVD-R and I started receiving this error. I tried Every thing, new HD, new DVD, Clear CMOS, new SATA port, SATA card, IDE port, jumpers, every thing. See how I fixed it below. I discovered a way to operate around this for myself. Do this at your personal threat.Burn the most recent BIOS to bootable or normal CD/DVD.Run the AWDFlash by pressing alt-F2It didn't work, it just hung flashing Waiting.....Right after 20 minutes I powered off, clear CMOS, and tried again. This time it wouldn't even enter the flash utility.I powered off once again and it booted to Windows. I wonder if it cleared out whatever error it had but now it is operating fine with the existing HD and new DVD!

Cheap, runs well, and lots of attributes if you want to overclock. On board video card failed on the 3rd week. Built technique for my father to check e-mail and surf the net. 2gb memory, sata3. 500gb tough drive, and a 5600 processor running XP Pro. Was working good till I get a call it will not turn on. Finally just got around to seeking at it. Plugged in a 9800 video card and it is working fine. So I am debating sending it back to Foxconn to have it replaced or just acquiring a low-cost video card to slap into it. He would like it back ASAP. No concept on the turn about at Foxconn bit I know I can get a card from Newegg quickly.

this board is insanely good for its price tag,I paid 36$ and put my old amd x2 4000+ and 2gb ddr2 ram and gave it to my brother, it was so cheap to build it for him, beneath 200$ for everything, for confident go for this is you are on the tightest budget there is for computers. unless you go to the D.I. and invest in a computer a person donated but I doubt you can do anything with it that wont make you pull your hair out of your head. I believed it seemed type of low cost which it is but it looked actually good in the packaging that it came with, this isnt realy a con but just know you get what you paid for but if it works thats all that matters deet deet badeet durrrrt
