OEM BIOS does not enable the choice of adjusting memory voltage or timing, so not certain whether or not I'm receiving any benefit from the reduce latency. Not confident how helpful the lower CL really is in an OEM laptop, but for only a handful of bucks additional why not?? Newegg delivered in no time flat with regular shipping. This is a Fantastic acquire! i got these for my laptop that came with a gig of ddr2 667 and a single of the sticks went out....so i got these so i could place in vista....its in no way ran superior. none i also got a 160 gig 7200rpm 16mb Cache Serial ATA harddrive to go with these....it runs about four times more quickly now!

Fantastic mouse. Good size, very good battery life, excellent responsiveness. The wake-up time that some men and women complain about is not an situation for me, it only goes to sleep right after about a minute of inactivity and comes on right after moving mouse about 2 inches. I play planet of warcraft and age of empires with it with no problems at all. some shiny surfaces give it (and most optical mice) tracking complications. Carry a mousepad just in situation. I had a different AA battery powered wireless optical mouse a few years ago that burned by means of batteries like crazy, I swore I'd never ever get one more wireless mouse, but I enjoy this one particular immediately after a month.

operates fine for typical usage so far on my HP Pavilion dv5000t. Can't tell what CAS speed the BIOS recognizes it as. Dell hides that. I don't have benchmarking software program either. none. Installed straightforward, and no difficulties. Newegg is amazing!

This is great Ram. Following reading evaluations about G.Skill memory I lastly decided to obtain a two GB kit. I am operating Vista so it requirements at least two GB of memory to run smoothly. I can really tell the difference from my stock 1 GB laptop. This is a terrific product. It is fantastic inexpensive buy ans best of all it comes with a lifetime warranty. It took a little while to get here and I have an extra pair of 512 sticks laying about. Also my laptop can only hold 2 GB. I decided to go with the ram with a cas of 4 simply because Vista desires each tiny boost in performance. I would say its worth the extra income. I will acquire from G.Skill in the future.

It's good RAM at a very good value. Vista shouldn't be sold with just 1GB. On prime of that, it was two 512MB sticks, so I had to replace all the memory on that laptop just to get additional. None so far right after three months
