Timings of four-4-four-12Put it in my HP dv2000z and the timing set automatically by SPD with no issues. Big improvement more than 1 GB, but system efficiency in Vista Home went up about .3 in RAM speed tests. As well poor 32 bit and this laptop have to quit at just two GB. No crashes, extremely stable. None so far.

Excellent memory, quite solid efficiency. I'm gamer and also run numerous high-finish style programs such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, and Spice (Engineering programs) on my Computer. It has run quite fast with this memory, and I have no complaints. I paid a lot far more when I bought it (for ๠). But that's life in technology, haha. Great memory. If you want some solid and (now) inexpensive memory, get this just before it gets discontinued.

My Pc is quicker now, at very first it wasn't incredibly noticeable, but following carrying out some prevalent tasks I realized how a lot quicker it was. Amazing ram! A bit more costly, but worth it! Upgraded from 1GB 533mhz CASɈ to 2GB 667mhz CASɈMy Computer runs incredibly smooth now!

Works perfectly with my MacBook 1.83 core duo. Speeds up anything A LOT. Recognizes in OS X and Windows without having fault. The cl4 is nice for one-uping pals, but thats about it. I really dont believe your going to understand a distinction amongst this and a cl5 pair, but i figured it was only a tiny more $ so why not, you'll be the only person with cl4 memory. None. Takes a firm push to install.

This went right into my 17 inch dv8000 without a hitch. the timing helped noticeably in benchmarks. The truth that I doubled my ram for a excellent value makes it a great purchase. ... it's ram....how can that be bad unless it doesn't perform?

Incredibly good efficiency for the value. A latency of four is a need to have for any individual out there. Installed into a Compaq Presario C502US with no challenges. Computer recognized upgrade with no trouble. Windows Vista boot time decreased, computer was extremely speedy and responsive thereafter. I recommend this item to any individual seeking 2GB's of Dual Channel, latency 4 memory upgrade. None at all! None either!

If you own a 'stock' dell inspiron e1405 with 1 GIG of no-name RAM, this upgrade is necessary. The 1 GIG shipped with the e1405 is atrocious. Vista uses 860+ MB even when if you don’t have anything running…Worst when you have a couple of browsers open. Watching a video? Superior luck. Vista also crashes a lot with 1 GIG of ram. I can\'t even count how many times I've received 'Windows low on memory. Please close X plan)' The G.SKILL 2BG kit was easy to install. The performance is soo a lot greater. You notice it from the 1st time you open IE. The page just zips to the residence page. The performance is even superior with Firebox 3, which employed to crash consistently with the 1 GIG no-name junk. Overall efficiency is good. I score a 3.1 on Vista efficiency index. four.7 for RAM ƘMB video memory kills my score. almost everything else is 4.7+). With the dell 1 GIG no-name junk, vista complained: 'unable to run test due to resource'. None...Functions wonderful! Note that installation for e1405 is tricky. DIMM-A installs straightforward since the ram is situated on the back of the laptop. DIMM-B is located under the keyboard. Get the e1405 service manual from Dell for instructions how to replace memory (it's extremely straightforward). Be confident to install the ram module correctly. I would suggest you boot the pc ahead of re-installing the hinge cover. As constantly, new egg rocks. Thanks new egg for taking dollars…you deserve it!!!

Fits and runs best in my Thinkpad T60p. None so far The efficiency gain of having true synchronous dual channel with a matching pair is incredibly modest, if even noticeable. I most likely would have been much better to add a single 2GB stick for a total of 3GB. The fact these are CL4 is nice although.

Excellent memory, installed in much less than 5 minutes and booted appropriate up. quite rapid memory very noticeable distinction. in a hp pavilion dv6000 notebook these default to the wrong speed. this memory defaulted to ddr2-533, the timings were good though 4-three-3-10, cant complain about the timings. dealing with newegg was good as often. quick shipping and properly packed.

sped up my laptop rather noticably; i utilized to do items although waiting for it to complete bootup, program launches, etc. but now with the new ram it's not giving me the chance lol. also, price tag for the efficiency is very reasonable, newegg's shipping Ɠ-day UPS) was flawless, installation was swift & straightforward none newegg delivers satisfactory outcomes once again! :)

Very good timings, no crashes or instability , has been operating fine for more than a year (with lots of use). Compared to the 赘 dell was asking to upgrade the ram (added to the cost of the default 1gb), this is a bargain thinking about I get 2gb ram, and the 1gb that came with the laptop for โ. Does not consume the soul of formerly installed RAM to absorb it's power. Seriously, I've only got two slots, so the 1gb that came with my notebook is wasted. My notebook fsb is 667, so I couldn't go for faster ram, so I decided to go with better timings. Frankly I don't know if it makes any difference, but it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling, and for only ŭ much more.

Price, speed and results. The price for these RAM sticks had been good for the resulting speed boost in a 2GB max'd out MotherBoard for replacing the factory 1GB sticks. The resulting efficiency is nice and functions nicely with Windows7. None that I have discovered so far. The laptop I installed these in is utilized by a 13year old for school work and net use, no gaming or other such high volume speed wants. For the value & results nicely worth the $$ spent.

Straightforward upgrade in Dell Latitude D610. Performs quite well, although as other reviewers have noted, you're not going to blow away the benchmarks just due to the fact it says CL4. Vista flies on the D610 with 2 GB. I have no complaints about this RAM.

Let me say it and get it accomplished.This IS an excellent RAM, no troubles no issues, no DOAs (but that's luck and QC manage concerns at Newegg if it happened)Works fine on the 4-four-4-12 ratings.I got is solely to support my struggling laptop to play crysis smoothly without shutters, the Geforce 8600M GT is weak discrete card for this game at High settings (medium works fine but i dont like it) but the annoying pauses and lengthy waits to load the game/levels was terrible on a 1GB RAM 鹀MB x 2), so 2GB created a big difference. Frame rates didnt go up (there was modest improvement in the minimum average, not the maximum) but i got consistency. Most games right now that have a lot of textures and HDR will tend to loot your RAMs, and if thats much less it starts taking Swap space on the HDD, and if you have a 5400rpm SATA 3.5" HDD then its even more pathetic, like in my case.Maximizing your RAM capacity assists you get consistency at low or greater fps, the rest is down to your CPU and mostly Vi Nope, its an exceptional item worth each cent. A lot of buy far more RAM to solve their lower FPS rates on high finish method taxing games.They just dont fully grasp what is the root trigger, throwing more RAM at the problem doesnt support.Go get a Higher finish video card and in some situations if your CPU is weak/old then a new CPU and very tweak-able motherboard. RAM is the 3rd choice following the above two areas are covered.If you are on a laptop though like me, then RAM assists you get conistancy, not higher fps.I am satisfied with the 2GB G.Abilities, and oddly enough these sticks scored lower than my previous 5-5-five-12 512x two 1GB RAMs in the memory bandwidth tests. I would ignore that as it appears to have no effect in genuine world benchmarks.
