Runs extremely very good at the advertised speed/timings just had to overclock my CPU to three.0GHz just to get it to run at 1600 since the BIOS sets it to 1333. I'm assuming it's since the CPU is a 1156 Socket.I got the sticker with mine :> None so far. DDR3, exceptional price, worked from the commence, this is my 3rd acquire of Gskill memory. No cons, see other thoughts The highest *current* JEDEC-sanctioned speed for DDR3 is 1333. The SPD's of these modules are defaulted to 200MHz host clock X 6.66. Just like me, you will have to enter bios and simply change the RAM multi to eight.00.No will need to tweak anything else if you don't want to.I have a Gigabyte GAMA790XT board with a Phenom II X3 710. Just maintain in thoughts that if you don't also tweak your memory timings, it will run @ 11-11-11-30 @ 1600MHz. So far I've knocked these down to 9-9-9-24 and all's excellent. I'm going to reside in 'warranty-land' for a although before I determine to push these items along with the rest of the process. Hope this helps.

Really stable. Stays cool with heat sinks. No problems as of yet. Bumped up to 1600 7-7-7-18 1T 1.9V on EVGA 780i SLI forthewin Memory comes clocked at 1333 but apparently it is supposed to be that way. Don't let the ignorance of other reviewers right here sway you from getting this memory. Initial thing you ought to do is go into the bios and manually configure voltages, timings and speed. Then set up OS.

Stable at DDR3-1600 at the specified timings 9-9-9-24. My board only supports 1T command rate, but bumping the RAM voltage to 1.6V (stock is 1.5V) and disabling the CPU's C1E enhanced halt state restored stability at 1600 speed, according to prime95 and memtest86+ overnight tests. Otherwise rock stable at DDR3-1333 1T with stock voltage.Heatspreaders are snazzy and functional. none I suppose Utilised g.skill on my old Clawhammer create and now again on the Phenom construct. A fantastic solution then and still is now.

Low cost. Overclocks insanely effectively. Helped me get ten.469s in SuperPi 1M and 12m flat in SuperPi 32M. I run these sticks at 6-6-six-18-1T instead of the recommended 9-9-9-24-1T. I also bumped up the voltage to two. and for extreme OC up to two.three! This is compared to the 1.six encouraged. You ought to have good cooling to do this maintain in mind. Persons who don't know what they're doing complaining to G.Skill that they're RAM isn't 1600MHz :( Excellent RAM, Wonderful Worth. If you like tweaking every single small timing on ur ram and seeing actual final results, obtain these!

I threw these both on channel A on my ASUS and they seem to be operating excellent. I haven't messed about with any speed/V tweeks, and almost certainly won't unless I get bored or curious. I wish I could afford far more, but I am patient. Maybe next year 2 x 1GB will be like 40 bucks. These chips are also incredibly desirable and I really like how they appear in my board. None. This memory is rapid and rock solid. I posted here merely simply because I feel it deserves 5 stars. Will get two more chips when these ridiculous prices come down! A year ago I could have had 4mb for these cost I paid for these two. And, Newegg deserves five stars for the quick shipping alone! A fine outfit! I won't gig the memory a star simply because of the high price tag. They're all undertaking it.

The usual - I have had success with the 4G kits (F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ) in all of my Gigabyte MB's - mainly 򜤵, but also 򜩀 where the MB supports x 4Gig. No intention to Ding GSkill memory - writing this evaluation to warn other people of incompatibility with Shuttle SG41J1Plus and to try to uncover any testimonials that could include timings that worked for this combination. This memory runs fine ﴠ and passes MemTest, Prime95, and so forth. However, it will not boot when set to 1066, regardless of timing settings. Primary reason for writing this - this memory (shown as a F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 2048-(triple channel kit !)) is on the authorized memory list for the Shuttle SG41J1Plus XPC that was just on sale. I purchased this ƒX1GB) for use in this XPC in a server application - Operates at 800MHz, but NO settings function to get it to 1066. Bios Updated, no options from Shuttle - the XPC is not refundable @Newegg. Bought this due to the fact I have 4 sets of the 4GB kits - figured it really should work properly at 1066 and give me some flexibility to move about with my other kits in the future. The Shuttle SG41J1Plus will not boot at 1066 with 1 stick of this or 1 stick of my 4GBNQ kit, with all 9 offered BIOS timings set per the on-board memory timings per Everest.Moral of the story: Low Spending budget builds with inferior Bios capabilities may possibly call for generic, non-performance memory.Shuttle has not responded with the timings that they tested effectively - this SG41J1PLUS model touts DDR3 and 1066, so I am extremely disappointed with not acquiring an answer from Shuttle when it is on the approved list.GSkill is wonderful memory - I just wish I could find a answer - I hesitate to acquire (or exchange for) any of the other memory on the SG41J1PLus accepted list, given the present situation. Will post on Shuttle obtain when I get final resolution from them Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe are sorry to hear you are getting such difficulties. Please make sure the memory is installed in the correct slots. Also, make confident CPU FSB is overclocked to 1600MHz, if not, it will not be capable of DDR3-1600. The memory can only operate as fast as the CPU FSB. Please e mail us photos of the BIOS so we can see if the BIOS is detecting anything incorrectly, causing the issue.Thank youGSKILL SupportQuality and buyer service are our prime priorities.Tech Assistance Email: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E-mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

Affordable, generally g.ability has incredibly fantastic merchandise. Appear to have incompatible modules. This is what intel sends me in regards to this ram with their x48BT2 board. Thanks to the data you have offered, we can confirm now that the board is detecting your program memory modules as DDR3-1333Mhz, and underclocking it to 1066Mhz most likely due to a compatibility conflict.Again, we advise confirming with your manufacturer that modules match all the motherboard specifications we offered in our previous reply.Intel(R) Technical Support does not support modifying the RAM specifications in the BIOS; if the DIMM is completely compatible, the board should be in a position to detect these settings accordingly. If you insist on setting the RAM configuration manually, we advocate contacting the manufacturer of the module; they must be capable to give you with the right settings. Manufacturer Response:Dear ClientAs we stated prior to, all motherboards ONLY boot up at DDR3 1333 or 1066 due to the fact the DDR3 typical is 1333 by JEDEC. that is the purpose Intel wants to push XMP. thank youGSKILL USA REP

(Red ram sinks) Price tag , for about 35$ much more i could've picked up 4Gb.Unfortunatly my spending budget decided on this get and i had to go with just the 2Gb. Bringing my process to 6Gb of ram. Coupled with the 2Gb sticks of the similar speed and timings worked like a charm. I have certainly nothing undesirable to say about G.ability. Installed it in a Gigabyte GA-EP45T-UD3LR socket 775 mobo to squeeze some a lot more life and time out of a e4300, 1800mhz and 800fsb stock. This ram works excellent for me. Played with only a couple of settings. The important factor was setting up the ram adjustments in the mobo manually and bumped the voltage to 1.7v. Runs at 1600mhz and 9-9-9-24 -- with total stability over all. Can't feel of any. Doesn't appear to run hot or anything with the speeds and voltage I've achieved with it. I wanted to see how the complete DDR3 issue would go with a socket 775 CPU. I'm loving it. Not seriously certain if it was worth it when you look at the latency's of DDR3 vs DDR2 right now. But the Gigabyte board I've got combined with this ram allowed me to OC my old e4300 from 1800mhz up to 3200mhz and I was able to get the bus to run double from stock 800 to 1600MHz. Its created for a very affordable game box with a radeon 4850. When the e4300 was in an older board with slower memory and a slight OC to 2200 it would HyperPI at about 34 seconds, it is now in the low 19 seconds!!

I like the heatsink build top quality. No issue at all even following changing it from 1333 to 1600 and memory timings. Mobo is P55M GD45. G. Ability has mobo compatibility info on web internet site thats uncomplicated to get to. Ive set it at 1600mhz even even though the mobo memory tester appears to believe they are the slower 1333mhz ones. They prob rebadged the fantastic 1333mhz ones as 1600hmz. I was going to give it three eggs but given that it is operating and cant really prove what I believe im giving it 4, nothing gets 5 eggs unless its just amazing, and so far Ive under no circumstances given 5. These aren't XMP. Wish I would have carried out a lot more research and got ones that are but I could just ditch these and get greater capacity ones that are. Very good memory for the dollars actually. Under no circumstances utilised G. Ability before but im a little impressed. Ive had some negative luck with memory in the past and its great to put memory in and it just functions right after its configured with no concern. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerThank you for you G.Ability acquire and assessment. Depending on the particular program you are utilizing, it may be displaying the SPD JEDEC worth rather than the actual memory data. We do not "rebadge" or use such schemes. The DDR3-1333 you are reading is the motherboard JEDEC normal or maximum default. This is why the memory should be manually configured or an XMP Profile have to be enabled. This is required for all memory above DDR3-1333. This is a large leap from a AMD 3500+ with ddr 400 to a AMD 435 X3 and DDR3 1600. Enjoy it. The memory worked as expected when it was not faulty. I have had to RMA this product twice. Each and every time only one particular of the two sticks was bad. There might have been a negative batch of this particular product so be careful and run memtest86+ ahead of you attempt to install or run your OS. You have to have a FSB of 1600 in order for your memory to run at that speed. Otherwise you will have to overclock your RAM. Manufacturer Response:Thank you for your feedback.
