Factory advised for high efficiency mobo's None. In some mobo's you want all four dimms of memory to run correctly. This 2GBNQ fits the bill trigger to run at 1600mhzyou will require to have 2 dimms on the blue, green or orange. The 6GB kit 2x3 did not function adequately on some mobo's.Sodo your study before you buy !

My DFI Lanparty Motherboard recognized the ram instantly. Defaulting to 1333 bus in Bios. Board defaults to 1.5 volts. This ram is one of the couple of remaining readily available approved ram for the board in the 1 gig sticks. None. Not excellent to discontinue RAM, sooner or later men and women wont be able to construct computers with slightly older boards.

I got four of these to replace some extremely poor ram I was utilizing just till I had the dollars for superior ram. A buddy of mine suggested I use G.SKILL ram and so far this ram works fantastic. Its nice and quick and overclocks nicely. Also it doesn't hurt that it was delivered so speedily. I literally ordered it about 8ᚨPM and got it about 11ᚨAM the subsequent day. I didn't use over night delivery. Just the standard three day service. None so far.

XMP profiles to 1600mhz. Low voltage. No gigantic heatspreaders none Just an update-I couldn't hit 1600mhz with my MB employing the profiles, but by entering the settings manually it booted proper up at 1600mhz and has been rock steady. I haven't tried to push them past 1600mhz, but I'm extremely pleased with the speed.

works with new Intel cpus, inexpensive, rapidly, sharp searching heat spreader none I put a Xeon x3440 on a p55 board with these sticks. I wasn't confident if that mix of parts was going to work at all. To my suprise the it powered up initial try and work perfectly. I haven't tried to overclock the memory but if I do I will suitable one more review.

Runs DDR3-1700 9-9-9-24 at 1.55V on an AM3 Athlon II X4. Memtest Stable 24 hours. It will run DDR3-1600 at 1.5V. A massive plus since some 1600-rated RAM demands added voltage that some systems may possibly not be able to offer. Additional voltage is also not good for the overall lifespan of the system. None, truly. Reading the SPD provides these timings:(JEDEC) 533MHz 7-7-7-20-27 1.50V(JEDEC) 609MHz 8-8-8-22-31 1.50V(JEDEC) 685MHz 9-9-9-25-34 1.50V(XMP) 800MHz 9-9-9-25-40-2T 1.500V

Low-cost Can't get it to run at rated specs on my Intel BOXDX48BT2. SPD labels it as DDR3 1333, and it's sold as ddr3 1600. I would suspect the motherboard, but other users have ran 4+gb on this identical board with higher clock ratings. Possibly just an incompatibility among the ram and the board. Manufacturer Response:Dear Consumerwe have to make SPD to DDR3 1333 mainly because it is the booting up default. You require to manually set to DDR3 1600 and make confident your voltage is on the right value.thank youGSKILL USA REP

Decently quick.awesome heatspreaders. I installed these sticks into a Gigabyte MA790GPT-UD3H motherboard and for some reason I can't run them in dual channel no matter what bios settings, and when set to run at 1600mhz an error message comes up at startup saying "the method has sufferred repeated shutdowns do to overclocking". I am not overclocking them, I thought they were manufactured to run at 1600mhz, guess not. :( They still function great at 1333mhz, but I want them to work at thier full prospective.RIG:Gigabyte MA790GPT-UD3H mobothis ram 2 gigsPhenom II X2 545 Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe are sorry to hear you are getting an concern with your memory package. In Newegg Reviews got a fast Manufactures Reponse: Apologized for inconvenience and got me to get in touch with thier RMA Depart for a Warranty Replacement. They mentioned that they would support me get a Warranty replacement. Properly immediately after 6 Emails begging for an RMA Quantity from thier RMA Dept. I am very upset with thier Rep Albert Yin. I filled out the "G.Skill Return Merchandise Authorization Form" but when I attempt to paste it to an Email to send it to G.SKILL, Windows 7 Web explorer doesnt permit me to do so. I can Print it but it doesn't have an RMA number on it and I can't beg G.skill into sending me an RMA quantity for a return. G.SKILL was my prefered Memory. I am quite upset with G.Skill RMA Dept! Wish they had a Customer Service Dept. Manufacturer Response:.Dear customerIf our rma dept doesn't reply your email, please email to ustehc@gskill.com or call us at 909-598-6860. Ordered on Friday with egg saver shipping and arrived the following Thursday.Very good looking heatsinks. Fancy packaging by memory manufacturer. Installed and program would not POST. Even right after reseating a number of times and resetting CMOS. This is my first poor experience with Newegg. They are by far, the greatest pc parts supplier available and will continue to acquire from them.RMA issued and will mail memory back.
