works fantastic till you install it. : ( will run at 800 but nonetheless has couple of errors on my second set first set worked but wouldnt run at 1066 even when i set it manually. Second set does the similar thing. Funny factor is i have last years model 1066񣮴) 4gbp and they work fine so i believed they would be a bit cooler since the addition of the nice heat sink, but i have had no luck with them. i Have been operating on puters due to the fact the TRS-80 so im sure im installing them appropriate i even use a ground strap. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe are sorry to hear you are having an issue with your memory package. Please get in touch with our technical support department directly and they will be able to further assist you. When installing memory, please make confident to properly configure the memory settings in BIOS, otherwise the pc may possibly not run correctly. For this memory package, the memory frequency really should be set to DDR2-1066, memory timings tCL 5 - tRCD 5 - tRP five - tRAS 15 - Command Rate 2. Memory Voltage must be set to two.10V. Once that is complete, almost everything should be running smoothly.Thank youGSKILL SupportTop quality and consumer service are our best priorities.Tech Assistance E-mail: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E-mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.SKILL Forum: http://www.gskill.com

G.Skill has the finest support if you need to have it. This is the second set I've purchased. No problems at all. At the moment operating @ 1104 MHz and 5-five-five-15-32-2T on a slightly OC'd set up. Set timing manually and ran Memtest for two hrs with no troubles. Beware, the heat sinks are tall and won't fit under the fan on a A/C Freezer 64 Pro if utilizing the slot closest to the cpu, knew this prior to purchase so not an issue to me at all. Now waiting for Mosfet heat sinks to arrive, to continue OC'ing NB to 2600 MHz and see what these will do at planed four. GHz cpu on my spending budget performer program. Runs as listed! I purchased this to upgrade and add on to F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ which was the legendary G.Skill D9 2x1G kit. that kit runs ﴠ and oc past 1100 very easily, but heat was becoming an problem. I paid 贶 for the D9's and now this kit is ๑ for 4G. I replaced the D9 with 2 of these kits and have it runing 8G 򜠪 stock speeds on a Q6600 CPU. No problems at all. This RAM is awsome, I will purchase it as lengthy as it is avaliable for DDR2 builds!!! I feel G.Skill has an incredible product here. The serated heat spreader extension that extends above the RAM is fantastic and a have to if your loading all the slots on your Motherboard. When you load sticks side by side they almost touch and heat becomes trapped and builds up. this design genuinely assists to disipate the trapped heat and expose the surface of the heatspreader to a lot more cooling air inside your case. NONE that I know of, just wish I bought the two kits of this stuff in the beginning rather of blowing 贶 on two gigs of D9's this RAM simply supports my CPU Q6600 2.four clocked to 3.6ghz+ ... I would obtain this item again for ANY DDR2 create in a heart beat with out even thinking about it. the price and performance cant be beat!!! BTW.. if your operating Vista and multi-tasking with 2gigs of RAM or much less you Need TO UPGRADE to at least 4Gigs!!! I had 2g of ram with vista and kept a meter on my totally free RAM, when ever my system dropped to much less than 900MB free ram my whole technique efficiency dropped by a Large margin. and things began to hang and LAG actually poor!!! With 6G ram vista idles right after boot with about two-2.four gigs already applied!!! leaving me 3.8G free of charge. Lets feel about that??? vista utilizes Additional than 2 gigs just for its self!!! so if you want efficiency and vista to run like it really should four gigs is minimum or your RAM is the method bottle neck!!!

The ram was put in, and was instantly detected. Games really appreciate the 1066MHz more than the 800 MHz, if your seeking for superior 1066MHz RAM, go with this. None truly, see other notes. You could have to alter some BIOS settings to get them at full speed depending on your motherboard, but not definitely a problem at all, it's extremely easy, just don't forget to change the voltage to two.1v as properly.

I never ever got to even use them, I gave 1 stick to my grandma to fix her PC and yet another stick went to a buddy so he could max out his program. Though even though working with them in my grandma's PC the large heatsinks proved to be a extremely huge hassle with the soon after-industry CPU cooler I gave her as well. Both seem pleased with the results these sticks gave them and no DOAs so I'd highly recommend you give them a attempt for oneself. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerThank you for your G.Skill purchase and assessment. Glad to hear the memory works wonderful in each computer systems. These are extremely excellent memory. They have some decent heatsinks vice a heat spreader alone. The price is really competitive. Wish I bought a second pair. Prior to purchasing these, guarantee you have ample room in your case and there is no other interference from these rather tall heatsinks. They appear to work excellent but you would hate yourself if you bought them and they hit your DVD drive, CPU fan, Case... You get my point. It's roughly twice as tall as regular RAM.

Rapidly and cool. Does what its advertised as. Nothing! Installed this in a GIGABYTE GA-MA785G-UD3H item #: N82E16813128395 and working flawlessly @ 1076mhz with my phenom II 965 Black edition 125 watt processor. G-Skill is a quite very good business to buy memory from. Word is, if you ever need to require it, tech support is tops. Following 20 different installs of different models, I have not necessary any support.Heat sinks are tall so beware aftermarket tower CPU coolers! Just acquire it!

Excellent memory. Set the voltages and timings and ran 1066 with no difficulties. It has been stable for 3 weeks now without any problems. Noticeable speed enhance loading programs over the DDR2-800 I had just before. Folks that don't know what they are performing and then give bad ratings. I had bought 4GB of an additional brand that was bad so I returned it and purchased this memory. Glad I did.E8400 @ four. GhzAbit IP35 ProGTX2754GB G-skill Pi Black

Overclocks well, small to no warmth on heat sinks, nice looks. My fault, I bought two sets of this to make 8GB total, thinking since my board supports 16GB I have a 50኎ shot at this ram running at 1066 with 8GB, I knew that there was a chance it wouldn't work out and it didn't, all 4 are running at 800. Yes I did alter the dram power to two.1v incase you had been questioning.

Quickly to begin with the added bonus was that it snapped proper in and worked with the 2x1GB of Corsair 1066 Dominator running 5-five-five-15 @ two.1v. None at all. Didn't really anticipate it to be compatible with my older Corsair memory. Created my day when it booted appropriate up with all 6GB in and no issues or reconfiguration at all!

Snapped in and went correct to work! haha all i had to do was set the speed from 400mhz to 533mhz in bios and all the timings had been right. Works like a charm! None the timing change took 1 minute no joke haha makes crysis gameplay alot more smooth...now i just gotta get a 64bit os to use all of it instead of three.25gigs
