The memory is runing fantastic. My computer is incredibly quick.I reccomend this ram. But myself i have a poor stick. One particular memory stick may well be failing. I have to hit my reset button to start off the computer. let me clarify. I press the energy button from a cold state and it begin to load. it gets appropriate prior to loading operating process and just sits there. So i hit the reset button and it goes on just fine.If i take out stick 2 in Dimm1 it boots fine no problems. If i leave stick 2 in no boot unless i hit reset. I did move the memory about and nonetheless the same issue when i put stick two in Dimm0. I can put stick 1 in DImm1 and be fine.Prime 95 ran by means of overnight and passed every single time.Memtest did not report errors.I have an rma claim with gskill but i havent sent it in yet. This memory is great but a single stick of mine is failing right after two months use. Will send my one particular ram stick in and order one more kit. :D Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe are sorry to hear 1 module has concerns. I bought a set of these in October of 2010 and once more in January 2011. This ram is extremely great good quality. I can't even think it's becoming sold as 1333. I o/c'd this ram to 1600, increased the voltage to 1.65 and kept the timings Ƙ-8-8-21), tested it (memtest 4hrs) and it is flawless. I am fairly confident it can do much more but I don't need any more than that at the moment. It's anything you would expect and far more. It looks very good also! None except that I paid nearly double in October what I paid in January. Such is life. Get it on newegg's somewhat frequent ram sales. I got my second set that way (I've seen 3 this year so far).

In November of 2009, I bought two ƒ) packages of this RAM from Newegg.com. This RAM is exceptional and is wonderful for gaming. It runs rapidly and and thanks to the heat-sink it doesn't run too hot. Ever given that I place my personal computer together (early December 2009) it has suffered from random crashes. I finally buckled down and located the challenge by running Memtest 86+ (memtest.org). After substantial testing, I discovered that one of the 4 RAM sticks was completely dead and due to the fact I've been having these random crashes the entire time it's secure to assume that it was dead-on-arrival. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Skill acquire and evaluation. We are sorry to hear 1 module is defective causing a issue. Comment:
Fairly memory. My original sticks are still working good without having troubles. This is the second set of this memory I have bought. The intent was to take my technique to 8GB of memory to use additional virtuals and to take some load of my page file. On the other hand, when I received the RAM and opened the envelope, the memory packaging was torn and damaged. Taking into consideration the packaging was extremely inexpensive I wasn't as well surprised but decided to inspect the memory for faults anyway, glad I did.One of the sticks (still in its notches and umoved) was fine. No visible damage. The other stick was loose bouncing around the packaging. Upon further examination I realized the heat sink was shifted so it covered the side slots on the memory. In other words, no matter what I did I would be unable to location this memory into my board. The brief story: whoever place the memory in the packaging shoved an naturally defective stick into the packaging, damaging it and wasting my time and money. Not only do I have to spend ű to ship the memory back for RMA but I have to wait a different week for it to ship thus wasting my time. I am not pleased.I have utilised absolutely nothing but GSkill for the last 4 years building my machines, my good friends machines and my households machines with it. In these years, the high quality of GSkill's items appears to have enhanced. Even so, their packaging is acquiring increasingly more affordable. I am done with GSkill. I don't want to waste my challenging earned dollars on shipping to fix their stupid blunders. Trust me, it won't take place yet again. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe are sorry to hear you received damaged memory. The memory must be protected in its original packaging, but based on the shipping courier, these problems can take place. Improper handling in the course of shipping can trigger harm to the memory. Please send the memory in for replacements, the new kit ought to function much better. Lots of good ratings, Affordable My MB defaults show the wrong timing. I had to manually change them from 9 to 8.. Am guessing this is the MB not the ram I typically pay a lot more to get corsair (because I know it will perform well), but this had so numerous fantastic testimonials I figured I couldn't go incorrect. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear you were able to configure the memory adequately and it is operating effectively. All DDR3 motherboards have a maximum default of DDR3-1333 CL9. This kit is DDR3-1333 CL8, so it is expected to set timings. As soon as this is accomplished, the process should operate smoothly. Snap in installation, nice color, runs quick and cool, decent price, trustworthy none Have this 4 GB kit in a 2nd PC that I use for video editing and OTA Tv show recording. I installed this on a Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 mobo with Phenom II x2 3.1 GHz CPU. It was recognized immediately upon powering up the method and has worked flawlessly since installation 8 months ago. Haven't tried over-clocking my CPU or ram as each appear plenty fast as-is. Both are running cool and reliable, which is just the way I like them to run. I would get G.Skill ram once more.
