Fit quickly into a Biostar motherboard and was recognized with no troubles. Packaged in a nicely protected plastic casing.Looks extremely nice! None You could almost certainly save a couple of bucks if it was packaged more affordable and didn't have all the flashy graphics and colors, but still low cost.

I wanted to go with a thing that runs faster by default, but reconsidered due to dollars constraints. The cost on these are a steal for what they deliver. I got two pairs for a total of 8Gbs, and every little thing runs seamlessly. All functions could be operating at their capacity and there's nonetheless plenty of space and transfer capability left. Very recommended if you're wanting good DDR3 on a spending budget. None however. If you use a lot of your RAM (or if you're a hardcore gamer), I advise acquiring a strategically placed fan for these. They have the heatsinks, but they'll nonetheless get decently hot if you're pushing them. I advocate it as a preventive action, if you haven't already prepared for it.

* Excellent RAM for a excellent price. * Scores a 7.3 on my Windows Knowledge Index. None that I can believe of. I don't overclock so I can't speak to how properly it handles overclocking, but you can't beat this RAM.

I presently have 2 sets of this ram running 1600mhz with latencies of 8-8-8-21 at 1.5v (stock). Memtest ran 8 hours with no errors. Don’t let the humble specs fool you. This ram is solid and can run significantly faster than it is rated for. you kidding? This is a follow-up to my assessment a few days ago

Painless to install. Plugged them in the slots, set the timings as listed, and it's been smooth sailing ever due to the fact. These things had been hard to get out of their case.Yeah, I'm fishing for something to put here, no actual complaints. A single 4GB stick is about the very same cost as this pack. I suppose I could have gone with 2x4GB instead of 4x2GB and had room for expansion, but I don't definitely see myself needing much more than 8GB anytime soon.

So far this has been fantastic memory. I have been able to play Borderlands on full settings (attribute that far more to the vid card and CPU) and I haven't ran into any memory issues thus far. Passed mem test like a gem when I benched it and it looks great in my Antec 1200. None seriously. Excellent memory. I haven't worked with DDR3 memory prior to the acquire of my new rig and I have to say I was a bit surprised. It could have been my board but in contrast to older memory ports on the mobo there was a static side and a side that toggles when putting in the memory. I pushed the memory in and it clamped down - all is effectively. Began my system, no boot. Messed around with it for awhile and lastly following taking the memory out and reinserting it "clicked" indicating a full connection. No troubles after that. Just an FYI to appear out for if you haven't worked with hardware of that type ahead of.ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 ATX MotherboardAMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 1333EVGA 01G-P3-1158-TR GeForce GTS 250 1GBAntec Twelve Hundred Black Steel ATX Full TowerARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm Ceramic CPU CoolerWestern Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W

Fair price. Rock Solid in MemTest86+ None. I goofed and bought this memory even though it was not on the QVL for my distinct motherboard. I contacted G.Skill twice in my attempts to get every thing working together. I got responses each times within minutes. Minutes. It took the motherboard mfgr days. I don't know what other memory mfgrs are like & I don't intend to ever find out.

Works as expected, and a great cost given the latency/speed. Stable, fast, and inexpensive, the way I like it. As far as aesthetics go, I like how the blue looks with my color scheme. None. I'm taking into consideration acquiring a different set, although if I could do it over I'd start off with 4GB sticks rather, though 4GB has worked without a hiccup for my needs. Memory is so low-cost proper now, if you're even thinking of obtaining 2x4GB, just do it.

1. Straightforward install. Stick 'em in and run. 2. Ran Memtest86 to check for errors. Error cost-free.three. Rapidly and stable so far. 4. WEI = 7.1 with 8 Gb installed in Win7 Skilled 64-bit. (See note below if your WEI is stuck at five.9.) My BIOS did not auto set timings correctly (went to default 9-9-9-24) but that was the motherboard, not the memory. It was a easy fix. If BIOS does not automatically establish right timing Ƙ-8-8-24) just go into BIOS and set timings on the appropriate page. Very best thing is to use the XMP profile from the memory itself if your BIOS is XMP capable. That will load all the correct timings from the memory itself. WEI NOTE: If you have only 4 Gb installed in a Win 7 64-bit system, you are unlikely to get greater than five.9 WEI on memory no matter what memory you are utilizing. WinSAT limits memory to 5.9 if only four Gb on a 64-bit method. If you are stuck at 5.9, look at your c:\windows\performance\formal.assessment (Recent).xml file and see if the limit has been applied.System specs:Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB3 motherboardIntel Core i3 560 processor8 Gb g.skill Ripjaws series DDR3 1333 memoryCorsair F60 Force SSD method driveWindows 7 Expert 64-bit
