Shipping was speedy and free of charge. Personal computer reads them fine, and they do fine below pressure from my video games. (i bought 8 gigs total) I don't know if its these bad boys or what, but there does seem to be a very good correlation in between instillation and than my computer system not booting windows up adequately. I tried the repair windows and it failed, but system restore seemed to perform.. but the odd thing is i turned the pc off last night and currently i had the very same situation, and had to restore again. I'm thinking i may possibly just re-format if it happens once again. sleek looks. I'm only tacking 1 egg off because they run fine after window begins, it is probably one thing i did.. for instance.. i hit the mem ok button like 200 instances on the mobo when i was first finding the problem of windows not beginning. Also, I did have a 2 gig stick of G.Ability's trident series go poor on me and commence blue screening me. I ran on the other stick for a few months until i bought these.. None as of but - hoping this is a fluke mistake, taking away one egg. leaving 4 based on evaluations and opinions of other individuals. Purchased this Ram to go along with my XFX Nforce 790i DDR3 Three way SLI Gaming rig.. Ram showed up with every thing else. had to re install windows due to unique motherboard, immediately after hours of operate downloading updates installing my games that i play, Planet of Warcraft, Aion, Crysis.. I lastly was in a position to try a game... couldnt play any games, they would immediatly freeze up and the graphics showed all kings of artifacts.. removed one particular stick of ram and ran in single channel, games played fine other than the horrible FPS i was acquiring, most most likely due to operating with only 2GB's of ram in single channel using vista attempting to play planet of warcraft.. removed that stick of ram and installed the other stick.. games froze up ideal away and the artifacts returned.. called XFX and spent hours difficulty shooting with them (excellent buyer service with XFX btw) in the finish we determined that it had to be that 1 stick of ram that was negative. So i boxed the ram back up, and sent it back. At present waiting on my RMA for a fresh kit of this ram to show up, i hope that it was just a fluke. quite a few folks have told me about the excellent of Gskill ram and so far i havent noticed it. going on three weeks now since the poor ram arrived and however to have my rig up and running.Q9550 two.8ghz quad coreBFG 260 GTX OC's x2 SLIBFG 1000 watt psu10k rpm 80GB sata RaptorVista 64bit XFX 790i ultra Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerWe apologize for the inconvenience. This ram is super stable and quickly! Running at specs at 1.6vThe ram coolers are really functional as the memory stays cool and they appear pretty cool also. none I have a pair installed on a gigabyte ma770t-ud3p backing up a 720be processor and I have tons of headway to overclock. I did have to manually set the speeds in the bios, but that was no issue at all.

the blue accent on the heat spreaders is actually a darker blue than shown in the picture which looks a lot superior. Its also shiny.ram functions excellent and looks super great with my blue MSI 890fxa-gd70 motherboard. n/a Functions WITH AMD PROCESSRORS/MOTHERBOARDS. Don't be fooled by Intels marketting ploy to put optimized for i5 and i7. It is optimized for them with the dual threading thechnology but that doesn't mean you can't use it with AMD. Just make sure you match the voltage. Most systems are 1.6V so you should be fine with this 1.

MemTest identified no errors following 26 passes.Looks nice. BIOS detected 9-9-9-24 @ 1333. I had to set it to 8-8-8-24 򜩀 as other individuals have noted. It operates as advertised at these timings nonetheless. This is just a common comment. Choose your RAM from your MB vendors QVL list. I got burnt on a preceding develop. Went by means of 4 MB models from 2 vendors prior to I ended up with a single that would play nice with it. Also take note if they qualified it with all banks complete or just 1 or two slots.

Looks and function of the Heat Sink's on the leading. Ram is much better (faster and much easier to OC) than my prievious RAM so I replace all slots with this memory. 8-8-8-24T and OC'd stable! I thought it would be less complicated to sell my slighly utilized RAM that I replaced with these. No one desires them. Rather New to the G.Ability line of merchandise, but with a nice SSD and 8 GB of this RAM, I've been far more than happy!

These modules are good when, well, they work... Wonderful value for the income. We bought four packages in the final month, but had to return two, due to the fact brand new ASUS board did not boot with them plugged in. Replacements are operating fine so far. I do not think the item is negative, it looks more like a quality manage issue to me given that some function fine, and some don't perform at all. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe apologize for the inconvenience. It is incredibly odd that you received two poor modules. Got these with my i7 860, it was 1 of the cheapest sets of DDR3 1600 I could discover on newegg. I've run this factor for a few weeks now and the personal computer has been solid. Absolutely nothing so far I was trying to figure out the difference amongst the Ripjaw series and the other series but the G Skill web site doesn't clarify. Whatever, I went with this because it was affordable and it stated it was for gaming and worked with the i7. I can't complain the laptop or computer has been fast and stable.

I had to manually set the timings to 8-8-8-24, frequency to 1600 and volts to 1.6I saw some persons mention some of these saying 1.65 and some saying 1.6 -- The packaging I received stated 1.6 so I have them set to that spec. I'd double check your packaging if there are reports of unique voltages. I don't know if I'm just lucky or what, but in 10+ years of constructing Computer's I don't recall ever receiving a negative stick, and these G.Capabilities are no diverse.

Quite great RAM as soon as tweaked properly. Runs like a race horse in heat. I put 4Gb of this in a M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 board and it fired up perfectly the initially time. I did go directly into the bios to check what it was reading as. The adjustment from 1333 MHz 9-9-9-24-1t, 1.55v to 1600MHz 8-8-8-24-2t, 1.60v was simple sufficient and it booted and ran fine Until..... I did a CMOS reset on the board for an additional reason and DIDN'T reset the memory timings and voltage in the BIOS at restart. It did not run stable AT ALL at the speeds and voltage that the MOBO set it to by default. The program wouldn't even POST and the MEM OK light would flash. Pulled the sticks and ran individually in Each slot, finally acquiring it to boot with 1 stick in slot DIMM-B1. Ran 10 passes of Memtest86+ through each stick with no errors. So I was 99% sure it wasn't the memory and thought it may be the MOBO It was my own fault that I didn't reset the timings on the RAM immediately after the CMOS reset. If you are having any trouble with this RAM voltage tweaks seem to be crucial. As soon as I set the timings and voltage in BIOS once again it has been fine. The cost has dropped and I'm going to get 4 much more gigs.
