Runs quickly, cool, straightforward to OC, stable at 1800. Read your mobo qualified vendor list for the RAM. These negative boys were on my list, and they have been running stable considering that the very first install. None. Great deal for the cost, supply speed and bandwidth to your PC. I got 4x2Gb all running stable at 1600 on my M4N78.

They are rapid and stable. Heatsinks stick out a small, so preserve that in mind if mounting a horizontally-oriented Heatsink-Fan setup. AMD support not mentioned but functions just fine with my AM3 setup. Required to go to BIOS to set the correct timings, but that's no fault of the memory.

Nice. I went from 2GB of DDRƑ) ram and a single core AMD to 4GB DDR3 1600 ram & a Core i5 750--night and day. Can't express enough how much I enjoy this combo. Windows 7 64-bit gave this RAM a score of 7.four (out of 7.9) Sweet Mobo set timings to 9s, rather of 8s, but that's effortless to fix I guess it looks cool w/ the blue heatspreader, but who cares? I don't ever see inside my case unless I'm hooking a thing up.

Pc ran very nicely from October 2010 till April 2011 Began experiencing random BSOD errors and freezes. Turns out right after testing each memory sticks in many Computer's, that I have 1 bad stick and require to request an RMA now. For the ๤.99 I paid for the memory, I would anticipate it to last additional than six months. The cost was good, so I took a gamble on the G.Skill memory. I'll most likely go back to utilizing Corsair memory exclusively, as I have never ever had a single error, or problem with their memory. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe are sorry to hear you began to experience concerns. Send the memory in for RMA and a replacement kit really should work better. All G.Skill memory packages are backed by a lifetime guarantee for these varieties of conditions. If for whatever cause your memory becomes defective soon after a couple days, weeks, or years of use, we will exchange it with a new replacement without question. Good spreader design even if just for looks :) XMP settings at 1.6V or 1.65V I purchased two sets of this memory. It looks cool and is working stable and without concern in an Asus P7P55D motherboard. XMP configures one set at 8-8-8-24 1.6V and the other set at 8-8-8-24 1.65V. The packages have the same part number but diverse voltages on the insert card.

Before overclocking the 1 stick of 2 GB was very quickly, but register as 1333mzh. Memory wouldn't function in 1600mzh. Had to overclock program to get method to change from 1333 to 1600. Program was unstable. Both sticks wouldn't function in system together. I put my method back to default and replaced the ram with my original DDR2 667 and my program blinks on and off now. The difficult drive went out and my old ram is dead. I spoke with a Gskill tech on how to overclock program to make the ram run in a 1600mzh setting. Getting to contact Gskill for a RMA number. Newegg wouldn't manage the difficulty mainly because it has been ten days past the 30 day period. I received the ram for christmas. You would believe Newegg would extend it's warrenty period to 45 to 60 days due to the holiday season. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe are sorry to hear you had problems configuring the memory. Unfortunately all DDR3 motherboards will default to DDR3-1333 CL9 max. That is the JEDEC normal, so any memory above that need to be manually configured in BIOS. Depending on your motherboard and CPU, "overclocking" may well be needed as most CPUs are made for DDR3-1333. Concerning the NewEgg policy, the return/exchange policy has been extended to 60 days for holiday purchases. But as usually, we would be much more than glad to assist you and have your system running as soon as achievable.Thank youGSKILL SUPPORTTop quality and customer service are our top priorities.Tech Support Email: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept Email: rma@gskillusa.comG.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

Snapped correct in a Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5. I had two prior to so this made it 8GB. Not their fault but I wish motherboards would detect the Highspeed profile automatically. You have to go into the bios and pick profile1 rather of default. If you don't they run at 1333Mhz, not 16000Mhz. My old pair says 1.65v although the new pair says 1.6v.

I run an AMD technique and it works wonderfully, in spite of being advertised for core i5/i7 systems.

I believe these are fairly great spec'ed timings for DDR3-1600 and this kit was inexpensive as nicely. Painless operation at the listed timings, speed, and voltage. Cooler is a wonderful match for the color scheme on the ASUS P7P55D LE if you're into that sort of thing. Nada. An individual forgot to pack my RAM with my board/RAM combo so, I wound up waiting three days longer than I anticipated to put my new machine together. Newegg's service in regard to my missing item was courteous and swift, though. I may well have been bummed out when I couldn't uncover the RAM in the box on Monday but, newegg rectified the situation with commendable haste and I had RAM in my board by Wednesday. Newegg for the win.

Excellent mem. Booted up no issues. I initially had 1 in the wrong slot and it still ran ok. The The G.SKILL Forums and support are wonderful. I had to manually set the timings and the forums list timings for nearly every mobo. Plus they answer concerns amazingly quick. Had to manually set timings because the GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R mobo won't auto recognize the correct ones. It will run on auto just at a lower clock speed and timing.
