Great value and quality in a Budget Build
Comment:
Recently assembled this mainboard as part of a kit and quite satisfied with performance. There was a slight confusion with the SATA,IDE bridging protocols but this is not out of line with other chipsets and manufacturers. The fabrication quality is impeccable in true G-B fashion. Excellent value for the dollar.

Very compact board
Comment:
It a very compact board and some of the instructions are not as clear as they should be. Had no issues with the operations, just wish my eye site was a lot better and my hands where a lot smaller.

i would not suggest at all
Comment:
I bought this product and it stopped working the very next day. It was good on part of this retailer that they refund me the whole amount. Surely I'll not recommend this.

Excellent purchase
Comment:
This motherboard is runs so cool and quiet I can't tell that it is on. Much better than my old 'jet engine'! it is a bit shy on peripheral and memory slots but great for my needs.

Perfect!

For someone who needs QUICK as opposed to powerful this board is perfect. Easy install, easy upgrade, plenty of memory handling and upgradeable CPU socket We put a 1GB video card on it and have no complaints whatsoever!

GIGABYTE GA-G41M-ES2L Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons: Limited features2 memory slotsOnly 1 fan can be controlledSmall heatsinks

Pros: WorksUndervolts wellAffordableFull CPU support
Comment:
I needed just a basic board with a relatively modern chipset and this one fit the bill. I've been a fan of Gigabyte boards as of late and this one provided yet another hassle-free experience.I was surprised that this board had some good undervolting options. Had some trouble keeping the CPU cool at a reasonable noise level, so I undervolted it from 1.300V down to 1.100 for a nice 15C dropĀ  in temperature. A lot of budget boards don't let you do that. Haven't tried overclocking. It does have a fair share of negatives though. Only two memory slots, and only 3GB/4GB available memory when using a 32-bit version of Windows and a 512MB video card (HD 4830 in my case). The CPU fan header has PWM fan control, and that's it.I wish Intel chipsets weren't so expensive. You can get a very nice AMD board for $80. I would've gone with AMD if I needed a good IGP and extra features like RAID. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-11-09 12:49 AM

GIGABYTE GA-G41M-ES2L Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons: None so far

Pros: Good budget mobo
Comment:
I was afraid at first to buy this mobo for a budget build as no reviews were posted (I am a sucker for reviews). I am glad I made the purchase, as the mobo was great as it fulfilled it's purpose and function. No problems or hiccups, and all the components seem to functioning a-okay. Not an OC'er board if using onboard video, but it does have decent OCing BIOS options that can be beneficial when using a dedicated video card.
