I truly liked how newegg had a combo deal for the energy supply to go along with it. Worked well for a month. Playes Starcraft II on Ultra settings devoid of a hitch. For the previous handful of days, my computer has had a couple crashes. Looked into the case to see what the issue was but couldn't locate any. These days, when I looked into the case from the bottom, I saw that the fan had broken off and was dangling from the video card. It functions effectively. Doesnt crash. Looks great. Came in great packaging.Came with a crossfire bridge. The GPU chip on this card is mounted on the opposite side of the PCB, and the heatsink is heavy, so the card "sags" on 1 finish. This doesnt affect something, just could indicate a shorter lifetime. The GPU could die in a year or two due to the fact of the sagging PCB. (temperture changes could make solder balls disconnect from every other due to the fact the PCB isn't straight - this is specifically what occurred in the Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death). Quick, quiet and cool. GSOD following playing stalker soc for about ten minutes, tried reinstalling the drivers and each version of CCC to try and get it operating once more and nothing at all. Core clock stuck at 150 MHz and cant be adjusted any longer, to be much more precise nothing at all in CCC can be adjusted any longer. Had to spend far more funds to have it shipped to Gigabyte so they can repair or replace it. Not gonna be getting anymore ATi cards or anything else from Gigabyte for that matter. First off this card plays any game on max settings. The fan is extremely quiet unless you adjust it to 100 percent. The only game that has low fps is battlefield negative business 2 you get about 30-90. My cpu sucks so it lags a small bit so its not the cards fault. Otherwise great card for value! Will possibly try crossfire. Its a small huge but fits in my socket 775 board and blocks one particular pci slot. Fan can be loud all the way turned up. I struggle with clocking it to its max performance. So the mhz keep at about 930. Don't know if its my motherboard or the card but I know its cool sufficient to OC to its max. Was to lazy to get my rebate. You must restart every time you alter the settings on the card or your games will freeze and so will your personal computer.(Black or Gray screen)
