Had some issues with set up, called the manufacturer and they helped me through it. It took awhile on the phone, but it works great and perfoms the function I needed perfectly.

Great signal for upstairs systems, but upload and download rates did not improve at all compared to my previous wireless network layout. I followed the directions correctly too. I felt this was a waste of money.

Cost should be a bit less, worked very well after requiring assistance from their help desk. Help desk did a great job with setup. Buy it, it works!

Ordered one and when I got it it would not function due to a bad AC adapter. Sent it back and ordered a second one - same results. Looks like there was a batch of poorly manufactured AC adapters. Too bad I could not get it powered up to see how it was going to work.

I configured the device the first time as per the instructions and then we had a power outage. Could not get it to configure again, even with over 1 hour on the phone with support (India). Then had a local wireless tech out to the house for a fee, he couldn't get it to work either with 2 hours work. Replaced it with Linksys model and setup was a breeze and is still working great. Had a power outage and it just went back to work, no need to reconfig.

I've been using this in my small business for about 6 months now, and it works great. My building is cement block construction and my router is at one end of the building. I could never get full wifi coverage until I got this. Now I have great signal all over, and it was really easy to set up.

went from one bar to all five all over my house had to reboot it three times the forth time it locked in and is holding it for the last four days if it keeps working like this I well buy one for my camper my church and a freind

Using with a D-Link Extreme N adapter and router it was Fast and easy to set-up simply follow the instructions provided and you should be set in less than 15 minutes.

I installed this device into my network but it would not pick up the wireless signal from my Linksys 610n router. After calling tech support and going through all of their steps without solving the problem, they told me to call Linksys. After tech support from Linksys took me through their steps and didn't solve my problem, they told me to call Hawking! This took hours. Finally solved the problem by shutting off MAC filtering. Works well now, but if the initial set-up is not successful, be prepared for some aggrevation.

Had a little trouble initially getting it set up, but tech support was very good and it works wonderfully. Went from 0 bars in my living room, to 4 of 5. It works GREAT!!!

It's easy to setup and the software is fine. When it works, it works great. On the other hand, if it loses the connection to the wireless router, its screwed and has to be re-setup. It can't seem to reconnect on its own when the connection is dropped even with a restart. I'm getting frustrated with the effort to keep it running.

The setup software found my router right away and it was a couple of clicks and I was done. I mounted it to the wall in the middle of the house and now I have a great signal anywhere I go. Using the web based interface once you have assigned it an IP address allows for more detailed setup once you have completed the initial setup such as inputting a longer admin password and assigning it a static IP address outside my normal DHCP range. It allowed me to use any of the wireless security modes such as WEP, WPA, and WPA2. I get a great signal on both G and N. For the quality and dependability I would have been willing to pay a little more than the listed price. This Hawking range extender is a superb buy and I highly recommend it.
