Would not work at all till I got the new driver/software package from the manufacturer's website, and the only way I could get it was thru their buyer service, as treir US web page didn't have this model listed. The paperwork included states to download a driver/software package for the HVR-1800, but that only worked with analog chanels, and not digital. After everything was sorted with computer software, this item performs precisely as promised, but I just couldn't give them 5 stars based on the computer software situation. Also, if you're planing on performing anything with HD programing, make positive you have LOTS of hard drive space, as it requires about 5-7GB per hour of HD programing.
