I purchased two of these for two systems making use of Gigabyte P55A-UD3 motherboards. The CPUs operate flawlessly devoid of a single BSOD or crash however. The PCs have been utilised each day for at least a couple of hours on average considering that Christmas.I haven't tried overclocking them considerably, but have them operating at stock voltages at three.five GHz and they run cool with the stock Intel cooler. For a low end CPU these CPUs execute quite effectively.Every single game we've tried (including Fiesta, War of Angels, Dirt two, Excellent World, Flat Out two, Require For Speed Carbon & Globe, Planet of Goo, Undergarden, etc.) will play with ultra or close to ultra settings at 1920x1080 (I have not tried Crysis or GTA IV though). General Computer efficiency (boot time, Online, MS Workplace, and so forth.) is superb running Windows 7 Home Premium. None unless you are expecting top of the line i7 performance. Preserve in thoughts these only have two cores, even though with hyper-threading they handle multi-threaded applications surprisingly properly. - Quite excellent price tag- Really overclockable- Low Temperature None! The i3 seems to be a great budget substitute CPU.- Stable Overclock to 4.4GHz(With a ฮ cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134 ) - 60 C. Max Temp below load with Prime95 (OC'd @ 4.4GHz)

Fast, integrated graphics, cheap I've been possessing an concern with the display adapter where the text on the screen will be outlined with a 1 pixel white border (this takes place sporadically in both Windows 7 and the BIOS). I'm not positive if this is the mobo or the CPU/GPU. The border makes it extremely hard to read. The Intel computer software and BIOS give extremely distinct temperature results (BIOS says 39 C while Windows Intel software says 26 C).

runs quite good the integrated video on this in my opinion sucks, it works decently for most factors but when playing video it does not carry out nicely sufficient for my standards. this is not really a con considering this is the low end of the i-series, but i expected much more is all.

Handles OC'ing and runs cool (with suitable cooler, don't recommend extreme OC'ing with stock cooler) Nothing... Was in a position to reach 4.4ghz stable @ 1.33v with this tiny guy. 1 hour of IBT with maximum settings place me up about 60C with a Zalman cooler (you may well fry your chip with the stock cooler, I wouldn't try it). The CPU is the heart of your system, and for the cost you can't go incorrect with this one particular.

runs fast and plently cool just with the stock cooler. Can't beat the performance for the value. Went from a phenon 9850 that failed to this and the efficiency is just as good or superior with only a dual core. none

Fantastic performance for the cash. none For all the genuine planet users out there. This CPU is under no circumstances going to run stable at 4.8 and 4.9 Ghz as other individuals have stated on this thread. I might have gotten a weak CPU overclocking smart but Mine tops out at 4.07 . Positive I can boot into windows at 4.3 but I cant run any apps like that. It is Prime 95 stable at 4.07 for 24 hours. This is right after over 1 month operating with the settings. I have all eggcelent components with this chip. The CPU is my limiting aspect. I do get a WPI of 7.3 at the 4.07 clock speed which is my lowest score. More than all im satisfied with the CPU . I still believe I will upgrade to the I5680 soon. Confident it is expensive for a dual core but I have never ever regretted spending it for my E8600 it is also a wonderful chip

I built this method for my wife. She surfs the net, watches videos and does word processing. The core i3 gets a 7. on the W7 performance scale. Luckily I have a stash.

Price is nevertheless a little high at 财.00 but its worth it. this cpu is fantastic and will play games with its built in graphics with no issues. just about each game i installed runs fantastic with medium settings.

Developing a new test method, and I don't seriously need to have advanced graphics - just dual monitors. Intrigued with the built in graphics support on the i3, so I just had to attempt it. Dropped it into a new GIGABYTE GA-H55-USB3, and it works like a champ. Super quiet machine (no graphics card fan). None. The inside of my new Sonata III case is merely empty. I have a cpu, cooler, and that's all. If you don't will need the graphics horsepower, you can\'t overlook this selection.

high multi, 32nm cpu, dual core so ir tuns cooler at greater mhz, and it overclocks to 4.8ghz on air. four.8ghz 1.475V the memory controller is weak. it has terrible memory and gpu performance compaired to lynnfield would be significantly better with a greater memory controller and 4 cores. but i would acquire this more than an i5 750. but i7-860 or up would be my 1st selection

Incredibly quickly for an entry level processor, runs cool with a low power draw. On board video is good for low-end games. Price could be lower, AMD nonetheless has the price/performance advantage...for now. Though this chip is incredible for getting in the low-end of the Intel lineup, stepping back and viewing it in the world of processors places it in the awkward position of becoming priced at the identical point as the Phenom II 955 quad core.
