Intel Core i5 4670K Unlocked Quad Core 3.4GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 6MB Cache Retail
Cons:1. TDP is higher than Ivy Bridge2. You need another 3rd party CPU Heatsink for overclocking
Pros:1. Price : Performance2. Great Value when it is on sale Comment:
It is bang for the bucks for whoever looking for high-end CPU.If you don't require multitasking, this CPU is the right choice. Really good Price : Performance even it is not on sale. (Always sale price is better though) Only one thing you should consider is that you would require 3rd party CPU Heatsink for overclocking. Stock cooler is not that good. You can't go over 4.3 Ghz with stock cooler. |

Intel Core i5 4670K Unlocked Quad Core 3.4GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 6MB Cache Retail
Cons:A little hot at 4.5Ghz
Pros:Blazing fast! Easily overclockable. Comment:
Bought this for a gaming PC. One of the best bang for bucks. Got it at a discount price. I got tha NH-D14 HS with it. I overclocked it at 4.5Ghz without any issue on the first try! Scored 10186pts on Passmark. Way more than my i7 950 running at the same clock (8300pts i 4.5Ghz). I would buy another one anytime. |

Cons:None at this time
Pros:FastCoolGood priceStable Comment:
This is a very nice CPU for the price and the feature set is appropriate for most users. The CPU stays very cool with my NHU12S and seems to always run at the boost frequency of 3.8GHz. So far it has been very stable for me at stock speeds and it's definitely a speed upgrade over my Phenom II X940BE. |

Cons:heat, seems to run a bit hotter than my old i7 2600, stock cooler
Pros:i5, speed, price (with combo) Comment:
love the i5, but seems to run pretty hot, 45 degrees idle, on stock cooler, but i have the corsair h100i on the way so not to worried, stock cooler looks & even feels cheap.got comboed with a msi g43 gaming motherboard, and everything worked right out of the box. |

If your debating between the i7 4770k and the i5 4670k get the i5 ,It's much cheaper and 100 ghz, 2mb and hyperthreading are the only differences |

Cons:Stock fan in not good for overclocking.
Pros:Good Performance.Can be overclock. Comment:
I got this CPU as a combo with an ASUS Z87-PRO motherboard, the two work really well together. This CPU has more than enough performance to do anything I through at it even with out an overclock. If you are looking to overclock you NEED a new cooler, the stock fan is not good enough and will not keep CPU cool. |

Cons:Not great value if you don't overclock
Pros:Great for gaming rig and has overclock potential Comment:
A good processor for a gaming rig as long as you utilize the unlocked multiplier to overclock. Otherwise, its probably better to just get the cheaper locked processors. |

Cons:none really, not an i7
Pros:Fast, not as expensive as an i7 Comment:
Not much to say here. Faster that my previous rig. I haven't tried to both OC it yet. However I have noticed that unlike my previous CPU's this generation seems to have a generous allowance for both throttling up and down. Without actually doing or configuring anything i see that when I am not using it much it throttles way down, and when I have it under load it actually OC itself a bit anyway over its clock default settings. Install was painless. No problem so far. Didn't do any benchmarks. Used the an H90 cooler rather than stock so can't comment on the heatsink. |

Pros:Reasonable price, Intel processor, Unlocked Comment:
Bought for my gaming rig and coupled it with a CoolIt water cooler and i get 26C idle with 60C under gaming load. Haven't OC it yet but with these temps I will play with it for sure. Solid performance. I'm very pleased so far. |

Intel Core i5 4670K Unlocked Quad Core 3.4GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 6MB Cache Retail
Cons:Not much of an upgrade over the previous generation, stock cooler seems like a bit of a waste.
Pros:Decent value, performs well. Comment:
I bought this processor for a gaming computer, hence i5 over i7 and unlocked for eventual overclocking. I'm running it stock right now and everything is rock solid. I wish they wouldn't bother including a stock heat sink with these unlocked processors like they do for the LGA2011 "extreme" ones, they're generally only useful for verifying that your hardware POSTs properly before putting everything in the case. |

It's almost as fast as my i7 3770k, but cost less. I haven't OC'd yet, but I'm confident I can get a bit more out of her. |

Intel Core i5 4670K Unlocked Quad Core 3.4GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 6MB Cache Retail
Cons:None. Unless you overclock, then you need a better heatsink.
Pros:Very fast and efficient CPU. Comment:
I bought this CPU bundled with the Asus Z87-A motherboard and have been very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the unit. I use my system mostly for CAD and simulation, so overclocking isn't much of a concern for me, but 4 fast and reliable cores is necessary. I plan to upgrade the heatsink and fan as soon as possible to further system reliability. |

Intel Core i5 4670K Unlocked Quad Core 3.4GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 6MB Cache Retail
Cons:You cannot overclock this cpu with stock cooler.
Pros:good processor at stock speed. Comment:
Intel charges extra for the K unlocked processor. A processor needs a heat sink. The one Intel sells you cannot cool the processor even on turbo settings. I ran it at 4.2 with Prime 95 using 1.21V and hit 93C in about 45 sec. Why do they even bother with the stock cooler. Even on my H100 I can't get past 4.3, which by the way is where my 2700K has been at for the last 2 years at62C under full load. The i5 4670 is a good processor but don't pay extra for the K because unless your on custom water you wont get very far. Intel sell you a part that needs additional hardware so that you can use it for it's intended purpose. |

Cons:When is the stock cooler ever any damn good!(K) Paying for the privilege to over clock...
Pros:price it with in the grasp of everybody, performance is fair with respect to the price. Comment:
One of the better lga1150 cpu's for the money/power ratio I have mine still not over clocked with my old lga775 cooler "Zalman CNPS9500" that was built for hotter cpus anyway on a rog VI Hero with the CPU pinned under prime95 the max temp hits 37C in a room where the ambient temp is 29C the Zalman hit 45% on the curve I have set Ill bet I could push that down a little more but I would start to hear noise at 60% on the aging Zalman cooler. I just love how cpu's keep getting better and better. |

It is really powerful CPU for the price. You can beat i7 4770 easily with overclock. (not 4770k)You can pass 10k passmark score with just bit overclock. But, stock cooler isn't that nice, so you would need another CPU heat sink from 3rd party.
