Pros:A very fast processor that runs cool and can overclock to 4.2GHz with a standard air cooler on a 30 degree day and still run around 60 degrees under full load! Comment:
This is by far enough power compared to the i7 4770k. I had my doubts, but once you do a minor overclock it runs faster than a 8 core AMD. For games this is more than enough power, but if you really need that hyper threading muscle then go for the i7. I am very impressed by this CPU so far. |

Overall satisfied with the processor, the processor runs a bit hot when overclocked even at low voltages. Couldn't get over 4.1 GHz overclock, but that is just luck with binning. |

I OC'ed it to 4 GHz, and it's sufficient for most things unless you need it for computation-intensive work/research. Currently, Intel is beating AMD by a large margin, and that makes the best CPU for gaming in the market. |

Pros:upgrading from a Core I5-750, it was a pretty nice boost in speed. Ive had people recommend going for the Core I5-3570K but decided on the 4670K instead Comment:
I am currently using the stock cooler, but will upgrade as soon as i can as it idles around mid 30's during load it will hit up to mid 50's to 60'sI ran a Prime 95 torture test for about 30 minutes and temps hit up to the high 90's and this was at stock speeds (3.4ghz)Seriously recommend buyers to get a third party cooler. |

Cons:Haswell and the "delidding" issues makes this an anger for over clockers and temperature freaks

As you may or may not know Ivy Bridge and Haswell CPUs have crappy thermal paste TIM between the cover and the chip itself, hence leaving people to do dangerous "deliddings" to receive 20 degrees less just by replacing the internal paste...impressively dumb on Intels part.Beyond that it's a great CPU, without delidding I get 30 degrees idle and 50 degrees celcius load with an H60. |
Very fast processorUnfortunately, Idle with Hyper 212 evo, good case ventilation on the Z87-G45 is 39-45C with Gaming temps z around 50-55c Dont know If I want to overclock since 70c should be the limit..Pretty disappointed with Intel heat wiseOther than that, excellent
