Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:None.

Pros:Cheap, fast, cool and it is a very good overclocker!
Comment:
At the time of purchase, this CPU set me back roughly $90. For the price, I could not ask for more. I now run it at 3.2GHz without any issues (256x12.5, 1.216V). It allows me to perform my work without any significant slowdowns, and also runs the games I play (1920x1200) at an acceptable frame rate. I am very satisfied.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:none

Pros:Cool, overclockable, stable
Comment:
Built a couple systems with this and the Gigabyte GA-G31m-ES2L. One of them for my 14 yr old son for his b-day. Coupled with a 500 GB 7200.12, Patriot 6400 DDR2, and an ATI 4850. Just a slight FSB bump to 2.8 Ghz, which seems to be the mobo's sweet spot. Northbridge on this board seems to run quite hot. Noticed a decline in benches with repeated runs and suspect we could use some cooling help on the northbridge. No fault of the chip though. Temps were great there, even with the stock heat sink.Cannot be beat for the price. Has no problem handing my Q6600 system its butt on a platter....:-)

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:none I didn't expect

Pros:cheap, over clocks well
Comment:
Great bang for the buck. Put this on an ~$90 Gigabyte P45 based MB, with voltages set to AUTO it did 3.33GHZ prime stable. Stock cooler worked fine, only hit 62C with core temp. (stock 2.50GHZ was 54C) Intel says 74C is fine so this thing has a lot more in it I'm sure.If you don't plan to OC then it may be slow. A Q6600 at stock 2.40GHZ _seemed_ faster to me during general desktop use which I didn't really expect.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:Not that I know of.

Pros:Very Good CPU...Bang for BuckEasy to overclockRuns Cool
Comment:
As far as I know, this is an awesome bang for buck CPU. Whether it is used for gaming or daily use, this CPU can do the job. Before getting this CPU, MAKE SURE YOU update  YOUR MOTHERBOARD BIOS TO THE LATEST! This CPU is EASY to overclock as I managed to get it to 3.5 Ghz on STOCK VOLTAGE. This CPU also runs cool as it is a 45nm and I am using a CoolIT Pure(also purchased here on NCIX).I managed to overclock this CPU to 4.0 Ghz on an Asus P5k-E motherboard. I suggest you SHOULD NOT keep the CPU at this speed because it requires a HIGH voltage (I bumped mine almost to 1.5 Volts) which reduces the life GREATLY. Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:Tiny little heatsink included. No VT which may be useful with Win 7.Only 2mb cache.

Pros:Large overclocking potential!High multiplier.Stable, quality Cpu.
Comment:
Last 2 ordered were RO stepping, installed, O/c to 3.6ghz (didn't need anymore than that but sure they'll do more) 1 at stock volts, 1 slight increase. Run cool with inexpensive heatpipe sinks. Do not really notice the lower cache when overclocked, fast enough for everyday or gaming. Really just a great budget purchase when O/c'd!

Pros:Cool runningOverclockingPower saving
Comment:
Currently running on a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P at 3.8GHz (304x12.5) at 1.3V (would probably run at stock 1.28V but better safe then sorry) with everything else on auto.Using Xigmatek HDT-S1283 and it runs at 50C max.Case is Azza 900 with good ventilation (2x230mm fans)

Pros:Great overclocking abilitiesbest bang for the buck
Comment:
After purchasing this cpu I have to say it's one of the best purchases I've ever made for comp yet, the price is extremely good for the abilities this chip has in terms of overclocking, can take it to 4ghz quite easily with proper cooling, have had no complaints or regrets since purchasing this chip.

Pros:PricePerformance considering the priceOCs well
Comment:
Good CPU, no complaints, except the heatsink was a pain to install, I was sure I was going to break my motherboard trying to push those pins inside to get it to stay put and fixed on the mobo. After a lot of sweating finally managed it...

Pros:ValueOverclocking Ability45 nm technologyBang for the buck
Comment:
Well worth the dollar value invested, very reliable CPU that can hit monster overclocks if done properly. I have hit an easy 3.5 ghz on stock voltage. I have heard of people going as high as 4 ghz if done correctly. If you are new to overclocking and want to get yourself a good started CPU, this is the one for you. it has plenty of potential to be a fast, reliable CPU in any setting. Pair this up with a Gigabyte UD3P and your set to go! I have used this CPU in many budget builds and it is the best thing that Intel hase come out with since the E2xxx series, awesome value!

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:none

Pros:price is right
Comment:
Received in less than a week. I am glad NCIX used UPS for ground shipping since they are a lot better than other couriers like Purolator. The processor is fairly fast even though I don't feel too much performance gain over the Pentium D processor I threw out, I probably don't need an upgrade at all, anyway, for a mere $80, you can't go wrong with it.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:only 2mb cache

Pros:low price, bang for buck, high multi/low initial fsb
Comment:
best bang for buck CPU out there. In real world performance, extra cache makes little to no difference after a certain point. 2mb is enough. Money is better spent on a better motherboard and video card. Got this thing doing 3.5Ghz stable on DEFAULT VOLTAGE!! on a P5Q Pro. Will shoot for higher when i have some time. i'm hopeing for 4Ghz without voltage, but even if it can't, i'm satisfied. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-22-09 12:14 AM

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:None for now.

Pros:Great lightweight low power CPU for the price.
Comment:
Built a stand alone Ubuntu Linux Server around this CPU and a Shuttle K48. With a 1TB drive, it uses between 50W and 60W of power. Replaces an old P3, which couldn't handle running any VM's. CPU is idle most of the time, and quickly steps up when running a VM. Haven't seen any slowdowns at all.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:runs hot all the time 43 idle 75 load - would hate to see what the temps would be on air

Pros:amazing overclocker - 4ghz+ easycheap as all get outwolfdale core
Comment:
An amazing little clocker that just loves to be punished. Runs 4.2ghz at 1.4v right now and I would give it more but temps are hitting 75 during Prime - and this is under monster water and after lapping. IHS must be poorly soldered to the core or something - this is my only impediment to adding more vcore. Need more time to figure things out for max OC but 4.2 in about 30 min work on my p45 ds3r is just awesome.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:Stock cooler. My Gigabyte Motherboard showed higher than actual temperature for this CPU until I upgraded the bios, now the core temps range between 23 and 45 degrees C.

Pros:Cheap, fast, runs cool with a moderately better cooler, overall the best bang for the buck CPU out there.
Comment:
Took this CPU out of the box and took her to 300X12.5 at 1.28vcore (3.75ghz) with E4500 stock cooler. For longer term reliability I took it down to 12X300 (3.6Ghz) was able to reduce to 1.20Vcore with MX-2. The rated Vcore is 1.15v and it runs stock at 1.1vcore, have not tried lower. Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:None so far that I have encountered

Pros:Very quiet compared to the previous model I had, haven't run into any problems and is very nice for it's price
Comment:
Installed nicely and easily, as I am not overclocking I only needed to use the thermal paste that was already on the heatsink. Haven't run into any driver/installation issues on Windows XP/Vista/7 and it is a very good piece of hardware. For only $100, this is a very good processor and is definitely worth the money!

Cons:- Loud HSF on default

Pros:- Keeps cool- Good speed for price
Comment:
The CPU is great for performance/price, but I haven't bothered with OCing yet. At first the stock HSF ran a little loud, but adjustments can be made (at the cost of cooling loss, but this 45nm babe keeps cool). Great for my budget build! This review was modfied by poster @ 04-17-09 09:20 PM

Comment:
I purchased this CPU for $90 and installed it in my budget gaming system. I have not yet tried overclocking this processor but have read a lot of other reviews stating it is a good overclocker and runs cool enough on the stock cooler. The cooler is a little smaller than other coolers but is sufficient. I would definately recommend this CPU and have recommended it to other friends.

Cons:-Small heat sink

Pros:-Cheap-Reliable
Comment:
Using this in a budget build, have not tried overclocking since I dont want to worry about temperature problems in a mATX case. Heat sink is a little small and hard to put on at first, can't remember if all stock heat sinks are that small since I usually use after market coolers.
