Great Product, Great Price
Comment:
I'm using this chip with a mirco atx Gigabyte motherboard for a home server. I chose it over a Atom processor to have a little more power and I'm glad I did. I can stream movies to three different (Xbox, WD TV Lives) devices while backing up my computers and it dosen't miss a beat.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:Has some difficulty playing some games

Pros:Cheap Price for its performance
Comment:
Bought this during Christmas for my sis's comp since I no longer wanted to share mine (yes, I'm mean). It is perfectly capable of running apps like Photoshop, Sony Vegas, etc. although some games I put into her comp had trouble running but its no problem, I always have mine.

Warning f672cr mobo owners.
Comment:
This chip does not replace the stock E2140. Socket is same, bus speed is same. Is in manufacturer's compatibility list, BUT NOT compatible. Upgrading bios doesn't work either. Intel said to ask manufacturer why. Manufacturer said, sorry for the inconvenience.

Solid Processor, No Complaints
Comment:
Solid Processor, No Complaints - but then again, who really does about a processor unless there's some problem with it, in which case they'd get it replaced.

CPU works great...fan is a little loud
Comment:
I bought computer parts for my son for Christmas. We put his new computer together today. CPU works great! I had trouble getting the CPU fan to securely fasten to the motherboard. I finally got it, but the fan is a little noisy. Still a good CPU and the fan does do it's job.

Good low cost processor
Comment:
It performs OK, very good for it's price range. The weak link is the fan. I'd get a good fan and use the one that's included at a Christmas Tree ornament or something.

Good Dual Core
Comment:
Overclocked this to 3.06Ghz with just the base clock. i have a i5 that i use for gaming and a q9300 that i use for work this one isn't going to be a monster like those but it is a great cpu for general use and most games. i got this as a kit that i build for my girlfriend, cause her computer was having trouble with large office docs and programs, she loves it, head and shoulders above the sempron she had before and you can't beat it for the price.

Good CPU
Comment:
Does its job, and does it well. It's not some amazing cpu that is ridiculously beast, because it's kind of an old processor. But it runs very well, and handles everything I throw at it. I overclocked mine to 3.0ghz and I run Call of Duty World at War on max settings and it runs quite well. I have a 9800gt to help it out though, and if I set all frames to sync it does freeze up... If you want intense gaming, buy something like a core2 quad or something, but if you're a modest gamer that does some games and other computer operations this is the cpu for you!

Good product!
Comment:
Easy to install, worked first time out of the box and has not hiccuped since. Met my needs completely. Fan kit was a great addition to the package. Love it when all I have to do it plug-and-play and not constantly tinker with something. Will do business again.

Fast ! For the Pirce Can't Beat it!
Comment:
Sure there are other faster CPU's, but for the price and performance it can't be beat! Having the fan kitas part of the package made it that much easier.

Pretty decent
Comment:
Came with a bare bones kit. Handles all the functions i give it well. I wouldn't get it for intense gaming. But it runs most games well enough. Handles all basic functions extremely well. Have had no issues thus far.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:none

Pros:Price (after a price match)Great quality
Comment:
I bought this CPU for a client who needed a computer for Internet and run some drawing applications. The CPU is quite fast and it is always a good thing to know it can be overclocked a little to get more power is needed.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:Not much of a stepup from the E5200Could use more cache

Pros:PriceRuns cooler than my previous E5200
Comment:
This processor was purchased as part of a system swap/upgrade, I was looking for a cheap processor so I could build two systems without having to swap CPUs later. The first thing I noticed was that the E5300 seems to run a bit cooler than the E5200 I have in my other system. Other than that it seems to be almost identical in terms of performance.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:Regular PriceDoesn't OC as well as other Wolfy E-series

Pros:Performance to Sale Price Ratio
Comment:
Got one of these for $10 more over a E5200. It runs much cooler, and has the newer stepping which are just now coming out for the 52s, but it doesn't OC nearly as well as the 5200s.2.6GHz is plenty for most people, but if you want a huge overclock for low voltage you're likely going to have to settle for around 3.4GHz or so at 1.36VCore.
