lower cache
Pros: -Very fast when overclocked-runs cool (45nm) Comment:
Overall this is a great little dual core chip. Overclocks very well and temperatures stay below 40 degrees. For the price to performance ratio this cant be beat. Highly recommend for gamers on a budget. |

Pros: + Cheap+ Low power+ Powerful Comment:
Perfect for a budget or non-gamer build! I bought it for a home server and it's great. Also I think it's worth mentioning that the stock HSF is extremely quiet! At $67, it's a no brainer! |

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:
Small Cache of 2MB
Pros: Great value, Perfect for budget builds Comment:
This CPU overclocks like a true champion, I decided to install this into my Biostar T-Power I45 motherboard.Currently have it overclocked to 3.8Ghz with a multiplier of 12 and 320 bus speed, producing a rated FSB of 1280Mhz with only a .25V increase to the stock CPU voltage (Prime95 Stable 24Hrs)Highest temperature it's gotten to on both cores at these speeds is 49 degrees and staying well within thermal boundaries |

Decent
Comment:
Chip is okay - does what it's supposed to do. Fan and cooler is not that good. The fan is noisy and the cooler is flimsy and hard to attach to mobo. Get a better cooler, and you will need to buy some thermal paste. It doesn't come with any. |

Good processor for XP
Comment:
Good solid processor so far. I'm not a gamer and only running XP so probably not a great test for its performance. Not crazy about the way the fan and heat sink attach. |

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:
-None Yet
Pros: -Price-Runs Cool Comment:
I was asked recently to build a budget PC for a friend. As it was a limited budget this CPU was a good choice to start. But I have to say after the PC was up and running I was impressed with the value you get from a lower priced CPU. Not for gamers, but if I were to build another budget PC, this would be the CPU of choice for right now. |

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:
NONE!!
Pros: ultra cool running, quite fast for the price Comment:
I now have 2 of these for basic machines and I am impressed to death by their performance!! They fun smooth and cool under all conditions. I highly recommend this CPU for basic PC builds. If you do heavy video rendering it's not the chip for you but if you do those things you already know that! |

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor
Cons:
Core0's temp sensor is stuck at 44C
Pros: inexpensive budget CPUlow wattagelow heat output Comment:
Bought this to use in an HTPC (Zotac 9300 Mini ITX mobo). When on sale this can get pretty cheap and still packs a punch. Almost reaches the performance of a E8400 if overclocked. It doesn't get too hot under load and consumes very little power. One negative is that one of the temp sensors is stuck at 44C. It won't go below that but will go above. The sensor on the second core is fine though. Not a big deal but kind of annoying. |

Better than expected
Comment:
The motherboard died on my 2004 emachines computer. I figured the cheapest way to be back up and computing again was to replace the parts, after purchaing this processor, new mother board, RAM, and a new HD for good measure I only spent $240 and I'm also updated from the old 1.3Ghtz athalon processor. I knew this one would be faster but I had no idea. A HD to HD copy and paste that took over 8 hours before now took only 15 minutes!!!! There are many other things I've noticed about how much faster this processor is. Now when they finally come out with faster USB than 2.0 then I'll be in business. This product was right for me. |
Well i think 775 socket will be replacement by I3 soonBut i have some older 775 socket motherboard , so i needa 775 socket cpu , for around $60 bucks cpuNothing i can complain about it !Dual core 2.6 ghz and lots of room for overclockinggreat product!
