I ordered one of these, and the unit that showed up was missing a cord, and squealed-and one fan didn't work at all. Called TD-they sent another-as usual in lightning-fast response. This second one works pretty well. 50% reliability isn't a bad metric is it??-FOR CHINA!

The fans are not nearly strong enough. I guess this should be filed under you get what you pay for. This will not help keep your laptop cool. Keep shopping and save yourself some frustrations.

This notebook cooler is so quiet, I don't even know it's on! I've even checked and it's working perfectly. And, it's flat and low which is so nice. This is the best and I will definitely get another one.

I was skeptical about this product when I saw the price but I knew I could get my money back so I tried it. I LOVE it! This thing is so quiet I had to check to make sure it turned on. My laptop gets hot within a minute of turning it on and now it never gets hot at all. I would buy this product again!

Bought two, worked just fine. Then the hook up cables stopped working properly. They had to be twisted at a certain angle to work and shortly after both no longer worked an no place sells extras. Something is wrong with cable setup

I only complaint I have is that the cord that come with the laptop cooling pad is a little on the short side, I just barly make it from my computer to the cooling pad.

I like that it has three fans. However, the fans are not very powerful...especially considering that it's fairly noisy. There is a "rattle" sound to the fans. I wouldn't say it's the worst product of this kind but it's certainly not the best.

I love this cooling pad and will be picking up a couple more for family members. It's quiet, light weight, and, most importantly, does the job it's supposed to do.

My laptop would always get hot especially on the mousepad. After purchasing this cooler i havent had that problem and better performance. Its usb operated and runs quietly

The cooler seems to have made a positive difference with my five-year old HP Pavilion, which tends to run hotter than other laptops I've owned. It is really light (important when your computer is almost 10lbs!) The fan sound is barely noticeable and runs via USB. Glad I bought it and definitely recommend.

This laptop cooler does what it claims: it cools my laptop. The fans seem loud when there is no other noise. I like it. It is light and durable.

Didn't expect much after some of the other reviews, but all it has to do for me is last as long as my current vacation to Iraq. Using it right now and it's doing fine.

Do Not Buy. I had both problems with mine. The USB cable shorted when in a certain position. Then the weight of the laptop caused the case to compress causing the fans to make noise, then eventually stop altogether. Thanks to this piece of crap, now I get to buy a new one.

Then...the fans started to make a terrible noise like the bearings or something were grinding, then one would start to make the noise intermittently, then two, now I only have one fan that cools the other two move really slowly, and make a horridly loud grinding noise
