Purchased this RAM for a budget laptop for a family member. I have never had any issues with Kingston. Their valueRAM is always my first choice for budget systems. If your looking for some cheap RAM for a budget system then I recommend this RAM for you.

Effortless to install, nicely packaged by NewEgg. Quickly detectable by bios. Non so far. Purchased it for a Gateway ML3109 laptop with Celeron 520 1.6Ghz and Windows Vista. added the 1GB (much needed upgrade)to the existing 512MB. Installed without any hickups, Vista recognised it and works like a charm. no complaints. With it i also upgraded the Integrated Graphics Memory to 128MB instead of the default 64MB, that helped alot in overall performance in Vista.

it was a no cost add on with some other obtain... so it was inexpensive. i forgot if it came with my laptop or what. It resides in my asus F3t laptop which is applied for some fairly intensive 3d CAD work (solidworks, 3d studio max, alias) as well as the usual Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. This module was added to what was stock in the laptop and it works just dandy. I have been thinking of upgrading to two 2GB sticks of kingston so i can work with 4gb. 2gb gets taxed pretty hard when i'm doing my cad function. but it nonetheless works nonetheless. none, runs like a champ. I am only going to retire this ram due to the require for a lot more memory. Upgrading to 4gb ƒx2gb) from my present 2gb ƒx1gb). I will be sad to see it go.

I installed this memory on my Toshiba Satellite A205-S5804 with out any challenge.It did not enhance my base score for vista due to the fact of my low graphics score card, but I noticed my personal computer is faster in term of opening programs and working between open programs. none at this time

It's precisely what it says it is, and for a fairly good price. Kingston's a very good brand. Installed and recognized right away in my T60 widescreen. I didn't get around to ordering it sooner :( Don't attempt to run vista on 1GB children, choose this up and beef your laptop up to 2gb (at least!)
